Not to even mention that 50 trips on that thing entail the involvement of a contingent that could run a small country, in addition to the tons and tons of armored vehicles and the literal 'stoppage of time' that occurs when this man parades through a crowded city for a lousy ice cream and a damn Big Mac is preposterous.
All because of his monstrous ego and self centeredness that's not even satisfied with all the gushing we have to suffer through as he wanders through the moronic class for affirmation more than the Real Fake Stuart Smalley character. Not the asshole who played him on SNL

My Way News - Fed workers to be urged to commute, travel less: "WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama wants federal workers to cut down on business travel and commuting by car as he seeks to reduce heat-trapping emissions produced by the federal government.
The White House was announcing Tuesday that the government will aim to reduce carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gas emissions from indirect sources like employee driving by 13 percent in 2020, compared with 2008 levels.
Earlier this year Obama directed agencies to reduce pollution from direct sources, such as buildings and government fleets, by 28 percent in the next decade.
The federal government is the largest energy consumer in the U.S. economy, and the combined reductions would be the equivalent of removing emissions from 235 million barrels of oil, the White House said.
Employee travel and commuting account for the biggest category of what the White House calls indirect sources of pollution, so the main way to limit them will be encouraging employees to travel less for business and to use mass transit for their commutes. Other sources of indirect pollution are waste disposal and energy that is lost through inefficient electricity transmission.
The announcement allows Obama to show some forward movement on cutting greenhouse gases even as the Senate prepares to take up energy legislation without the broad, economy-wide greenhouse gas emission caps Obama hoped for.
In a statement, Obama noted that the government is the biggest energy user. 'The government has a responsibility to use that energy wisely, to reduce consumption, improve efficiency, use renewable energy, like wind and solar, and cut costs,' he said.

Private-sector employment changed little (+41,000). Manufacturing, temporary help services, and mining added jobs, while construction employment declined. The unemployment rate edged down to 9.7 percent, the rate where it stood for the first three months of the year.
The numbers mask some bad news: private-sector employment is growing, but barely, and it is nowhere near its growth rate of a month earlier. If it weren’t for census workers, job creation would have been near zero. The economy may be headed for a second dip into recession.

Anyone who's ever owned or run a business would be able to see the disincentive it is to keep continuing unemployment benefits, but then again, the people int he Obama administration have never held real jobs nor owned real businesses, including the boy wonder sitting in the Captain's chair first and foremost.
People asking for deferred start dates for landscaping jobs because it's easier to sit home and collect Obama's extended unemployment than it is to pay for gas, work all day, blow money on bus fare and all the stuff working people do each day.

Members of the Michigan Nursery and Landscape Association "have told me that they have a lot of people applying but that when they actually talk to them, it turns out that they're on unemployment and not looking for work," said Amy Frankmann, the group's executive director. "It is starting to make things difficult."

Many of we citizens around this country have had enough of these things frankly, as I myself got one here in my local township, but got it dismissed with a bunch of others, because they hadn't installed the sign yet at the intersection in question.
Oh, but they were happily handing out the tickets for a week or so without it which doubles or I'm betting triple's their take initially.
I think every city does that at the beginning of the program so they can collect 5 times the money for the first months, as people get used to the timing of these things.
Timing of which can be switched at a moments notice by the way, which they do from time to time I'm betting, so as to nab the "likely offenders" a second time at the same intersection using their previous ticket against them.

I'm single so only had to fill one section and had to answer the simplest questions I've dealt with in a decade, from the government at least.

I'm starting to really love this global warming if it can keep congress from coming to work, and perhaps we should rethink the white house arrangement so the president has to drive to work each day, that way the next storm that comes rumbling through can keep Obama away for a week as well.
It's costing 100 million a day for them to stay away, however it's probably 100 times that when they show up to work, I say lets pay them all to stay home through November . What say you?

I listened to the entire thing and it was pretty torturous, trust me.
They had an hours long press conference and the whole 29 yards for this "War On Fat Asses", which makes me wanna scream, as they do these things trying to legislate and propagandize common sense into people that most of us learned by watching freaking Ray Rayner and Romper Room....

Here's a hint.....Stop the Big Mac and Whopper fest and the pounds drop off all by themselves, you don't even have to exercise! And take it from me, because I just lost 60 lbs myself IN THREE MONTHS, going from 260 to 200 after spending 2 years in a wheelchair from Multiple Sclerosis complications, and all I did was stop eating like a fat, lazy American sow and that's the GOD honest truth.
You kind of have, to since you don't get much exercise in a 'chair, so cutting caloric intake is the only way it took a bit too long to figure out, like a couple pant and shirt sizes too long..
The best thing was I didn't barely have to lift a finger, although I must admit being able to walk again even a little helps burn those calories too. So I did exercise a bit, but nothing extraordinary obviously, and not surprisingly it was a pleasure to do. And if I could do it anyone can.
I love eating and sitting on my ass as much as anyone else, but there comes a time too much is too much. Like when it gets to this point perhaps?

I cannot for the life of me understand what possess the people who cannot see what's being done to them first and then us in their names because their so called leaders know that they are so ignorant and misguided that when people bring it to their attention they still ignore facts that don't support their agenda...

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 56% now oppose the plan.
Half the survey was conducted before the Senate voted late Saturday to begin debate on its version of the legislation. Support for the plan was slightly lower in the half of the survey conducted after the Senate vote.
Prior to this, support for the plan had never fallen below 41%. Last week, support for the plan was at 47%. Two weeks ago, the effort was supported by 45% of voters.

Louisiana Purchase sets the table for all kinds of demands being tossed aro as the Senate health care concessions which I and millions of others see as outright bribes with the taxpayers money to get bills passed that 60% of Americans don't want?
