GOP attack plan: 'Starve and Subpeona beast' of Pork Filled Congress and Obamacare

Michelle Bachmann has more morality and fortitude than the entire male congress on both aisles put together, as not only has she been consistently against the Obama Big Gov Machine, she also put together a Tea Party Caucus in DC this past week, which many rip, but I happen to think is a good idea, as it gives the Tea Party direct access to the 'machine' until we dismantle it in November.

And her plan on how to accomplish it all sounds just like ours and is Music to My Ears and yours as well..I'm sure.

That would be to "REMOVE-REPEAL-RESTORE and PROSECUTE ALL OBAMACARE and PORKULUS SIGNEES essentially throwing the entire proverbial kitchen sink for all their Obama led unconstitutional 'end arounds' born in this criminal congress which they and GhettObama shoved down our throats and up our backsides Barney style,ever since the second the Messiah 'walked the water' of the DC reflecting pool surrounded by fools on election and inauguration day.

GOP attack plan: 'Starve beast' of Obamacare: "One GOP lawmaker has already formulated a 2011 plan of attack should Republicans take control of the U.S. House of Representatives: Serve subpoenas, conduct exhaustive hearings and slash funding to 'starve the beast' of the Obama administration's big-government programs.

'Oh, I think that's all we should do,' Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., told the GOP Youth Convention in Washington, D.C., today. 'I think that all we should do is issue subpoenas and have one hearing after another and expose all the nonsense that is going on.'

Finally? Rangel charged with multiple ethics violations

After 4 decades of dicking America, it's about freaking time this sob was charged with these crimes as they've only been investigating him now since the new millennium it seems.

To tell you the truth, I'll be one happy American to see his pompous ass in a prison cell, right next to Blago and the multitude of other dems who belong there, and WILL be sent there eventually, if we're ever able to reclaim control of the country.

That is, if there's anything left of it when they get done trashing it like everything else they touch.

You 'mark my words' that this man will not surrender his seat until they're dragging his fat ass out of the capital building in handcuffs, just like so many liberals love to see from wayward conservatives or even one's who haven't done anything illegal like this bum.

So, that's 'two' democrat 'House Ways and Means committee chairman's' caught with their ass in the till denying and denying wrongdoing [the first being Dan Rostenkowski from IL] until, as I said, they finally come in with a crane and literally 'drag them' out of their taxpayer paid congressional offices, straight to Club Gitmo, where the entire damn dem cabal belongs.

Rangel gave up the Ways and Means gavel in February but he won't give this lotto ticket senate seat up until the above described actions or damn near them finally take place. Bet on it. No dem ever goes from DC quietly.

Politics - Capitol Hill - "A House investigative committee on Thursday charged New York Rep. Charles Rangel with multiple ethics violations, a blow to the former Ways and Means chairman and an election-year headache for Democrats.

The committee did not immediately specify the charges against the Democrat, who has served in the House for some 40 years and is fourth in House seniority. The announcement by a four-member panel of the House ethics committee sends the case to a House trial, where a separate eight-member panel of Republicans and Democrats will decide whether the violations can be proved by clear and convincing evidence.

The timing of the announcement ensures that it will stretch into the fall campaign, and Republicans are certain to make it an issue as they try to capture majority control of the House. Speaker Nancy Pelosi had once promised to 'drain the swamp' of ethical misdeeds by lawmakers in arguing that Democrats should be in charge.

Rangel led the tax-writing Ways and Means panel until he stepped aside last March after the ethics committee criticized him in a separate case — finding that he should have known corporate money was paying for his trips to two Caribbean conferences.

Outrage: Obama Administration Targets Military for Pay Reductions

President Barack Obama – who came to power with the help of government employee unions across the nation – and has lavished on them hundreds of billions in stimulus funds to keep them on federal, state and local payrolls with no strings attached – is moving to cut spending on salaries for military personnel.

This weekend the Washington Post headlined story, "Pentagon Asking Congress to Hold Back on Generous Increases in Troop Pay,”, disclosed that the Obama administration is “pleading” with Congress to give military personnel a much smaller increase in pay than proposed by lawmakers.

The Pentagon is arguing Congress has been simply too generous with troops over the last decade.

In fact, lawmakers have lavished so much money on troops, according to the Post, that service members are now better compensated than workers in the private sector with similar experience and education levels.

For example, the military brass claims that an average sergeant in the Army with four years of service and one dependent would receive $52,589 in annual compensation, according to the paper. This figure includes basic pay, housing and subsistence allowances, as well as tax benefits.

Meanwhile, a U.S. Postal letter carrier, with no supervisory or hazardous duty, makes approximately $80,000 a year when all benefits are factored in.  continued at Newsmax

Obama's pal part of federal probe :: CHICAGO SUN-TIMES :: 44: Barack Obama

E-mails and other records of Dr. Eric Whitaker -- one of President Obama's best friends -- have been subpoenaed by a federal grand jury, the Chicago Sun-Times has learned.

The investigation involves "faith-based initiatives" and health-awareness campaigns funded by the Illinois Department of Public Health when Whitaker ran the agency for former Gov. Rod Blagojevich, according to copies of subpoenas obtained under the state's Freedom of Information Act.

Here are some of the organizations named in recent federal grand jury subpoenas sent to four state agencies. All started getting state funding when Dr. Eric Whitaker headed the Illinois Department of Public Health.

• Brothers and Sisters United Against HIV/AIDS (BASUAH): A $2.5 million "social marketing effort" announced by former Gov. Rod Blagojevich and Whitaker in September 2005 to fight AIDS in the African-American community. BASUAH was run by the health department, which a spokeswoman says is "fully cooperating with the subpoenas."

• Let's Talk, Let's Test Foundation: AIDS-awareness group founded by state Rep. Connie Howard (D-Chicago) that has gotten more than $1.9 million in state money since 2006, including $1.2 million from the health department and $500,000 from the commerce department. State officials now are trying to recoup hundreds of thousands of dollars from the defunct not-for-profit, claiming the money was improperly spent. Its former executive director, Lloyd Kelly, couldn't be reached.

• National Black Nurses' Association, Chicago Chapter: Nursing group that puts on health fairs and sponsors scholarships has received more than $905,000 in state money since 2006, including more than $391,000 from the health department. The group didn't return a message seeking comment.
 

Obama has said he recommended Whitaker for that job, which Whitaker landed in April 2003. The president's friend resigned in October 2007 to join Obama's wife, Michelle, as an executive at the University of Chicago Medical Center. 

On Friday, Whitaker defended his work as the state's former top health official, saying he developed "new methods" to help "African-American and other minority communities" get better medical care.

"The faith-based outreach programs at issue in this inquiry were recognized during my tenure by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and others as national models for increasing awareness and preparedness planning for minority populations," Whitaker said in a statement. "The programs were functioning well when I left the department in 2007."

All told, Gov. Quinn's administration turned over copies of six subpoenas sent to four state agencies that show authorities have been seeking information about a variety of health-awareness grants and programs that have cost taxpayers millions of dollars. 

One sent to the health department seeks "any and all records" involving "faith-based initiatives" on subjects including "emergency preparedness," "HIV/AIDS," "cervical/breast cancer" and "pandemic flu."

Five subpoenas came from a federal grand jury in Springfield, while the sixth came from a grand jury in Chicago. The most recent is dated March 30.  continued here

Ford posts $2.1 billion 1Q profit, "GMdc" lags .....and the lesson is?

The only American car company who didn't need a bailout continues strong, which says much for the free market economy and that it indeed works, that's just as long as corruption doesn't become institutionalized.

Of course that includes  government corruption which can barely be kept at bay which is now so brutally corrupt,  it can't even get out of it's own way.

That 2.1b profit by the way represents half of what GM needed in their taxpayer funded BK bailout, which they just now repaid, which is a good thing seeing it rise from ashes it created by unsustainable union bennies and so on.

However, it's not this good, as Ford's NEVER EVER needed a bailout from anyone, anywhere, anytime.

It is also how jobs are created in a free market, not from the government picking winners and losers, which is what the Obama cabal has been doing since day one with their "spread the wealth" shell game, moving your wealth and mine from underneath one shell to another and yet another.

Yahoo! News: "DEARBORN, Mich. – Ford Motor Co. said Tuesday it earned $2.1 billion in the first quarter, another sign the economy is improving as people spend more on big-ticket items like cars. The automaker expects to be solidly profitable this year, a year earlier than its previous guidance.

Ford said its net income per share was 50 cents for the quarter. That's an about-face from the same period last year when it lost $1.4 billion, or 60 cents per share, at the height of the recession. It was Ford's fourth straight positive quarter and its highest quarterly profit in six years.

Ford, the only Detroit-area automaker to shun government aid and stay out of bankruptcy protection last year, gained market share from crosstown rivals General Motors Co. and Chrysler Group LLC. It also benefited from Toyota Motor Corp.'s safety recalls of millions of vehicles. Ford was one of the top brands considered by Toyota owners who were shopping for a new car, Kelley Blue Book said.

In a sign of its confidence in the economic recovery, Ford said it's boosting North American production in the second quarter to 625,000 vehicles, a 9 percent increase over first-quarter levels. The increase could mean additional hiring by Ford, but Chief Financial Officer Lewis Booth said Tuesday it's too early to say if the company will be adding workers.

'If we continue to grow, maybe we'll talk about that sometime later,' Booth said."

I've owed these people at the IRS before, back in my musician liberal 20's about 20 g's and they didn't wait no 10 years to get paid  from me!  Furthermore, as you can see, I didn't owe them millions upon millions upon millions of dollars as these people do.

City workers beat red-light cameras : "Scam City" USA As Libs Find "Funding From the Heavens"

 And like the taxes they raise but don't pay (Tim Geithner, Tom Daschle, et al) the connected liberal loons in the city are getting a free ride while the citizenry gets screwed paying these hidden "taxes and fees" while they piss away our money like a drunk after a case of Old Style.

This shouldn't come as any surprise that Chicago city employees having been getting a break on these unconstitutional red light camera's that generated 58 freakin million dollars last year for "the city that works ..........for the connected" while we citizens get the vaunted 58 million dollar shaft.

Nearly 70 percent of the red-light camera tickets issued to city vehicles over the last three years have been dismissed, records show.

These cameras are the biggest fraud to come along since global warming, and are nothing more than revenue builders for cities that can't control their liberal loon budgets, as they continue to hand out "nanny state crap" left and right which no one can afford yet they continue to try, and we all foot the bill no matter what the freaking case as they come up with schemes like this to milk more money out of us all without raising taxes.

Like we're all morons and can't see what the **** their doing here with these things. It's like crack for these municipalities when they see all this "free money" coming in by the millions, and it's a liberal loon dream to finance all their bullshit without asking the taxpayers for the money.

Many of we citizens around this country have had enough of these things frankly, as I myself got one here in my local township,  but got it dismissed with a bunch of others, because they hadn't installed the sign yet at the intersection in question.

Oh, but they were happily handing out the tickets for a week or so without it which doubles or I'm betting triple's their take initially.

I think every city does that at the beginning of the program so they can collect 5 times the money for the first months, as people get used to the timing of these things.

Timing of which can be switched at a moments notice by the way, which they do from time to time I'm betting, so as to nab the "likely offenders" a second time at the same intersection using their previous ticket against them.

For that reason alone these things should be deemed illegal and shut down with all the ticket recipients having their money refunded.

Privacy lawyers are working on that although difficulty arises because of the argument that "driving is a privilege, which keeps it from being ruled "unconstitutional", because driving isn't a "right" but again a "privilege". This is the same reason you must consent to a sobriety test on demand in most states,  which, by the way, cops and the connected also skirt far too often, while the rest of us get the Chicago Daley shaft.

The same cannot be said for city employees caught by the cameras in the act of running red lights. Nearly 70 percent of their tickets get dismissed.

Nearly 70 percent of the red-light camera tickets issued to city vehicles over the last three years have been dismissed, records show.

Since January 2007, 2,685 red-light-camera tickets have been issued to vehicles registered to city departments. At $100 a pop, that should have generated $268,500. Instead, only $77,167 has been collected.

A whopping 1,830 of those tickets were dismissed for reasons that include the municipal code exemption for emergency vehicles. Not all of those vehicles were responding to emergencies with lights flashing and sirens blaring. Some police vehicles were working undercover. Some were vehicles assigned to city departments not typically considered emergency departments."  continued
