B. Hussein Obama For U.S. President?

Just remember he once said this, and it's in print for eternity for those who doubt it or will deny it, including Hussein himself:

“I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.” – Barack Hussein Obama, in The Audacity of Hope

Happy Memorial Day To Our Veterans

This post below is from the History Channel which has some good videos with war veterans telling their stories and of coarse the history of this holiday.

A day where we recognize The people we owe for the freedoms we so often take for granted and many often abuse. To them we wish a great memorial day and thanks for the awesome sacrifices of you and your brethren no longer with us today.

Memorial Day:

historychannel.com "Memorial Day is much more than a three-day weekend that marks the beginning of summer. To many people, especially the nation's thousands of combat veterans, this day, which has a history stretching back all the way to the Civil War, is an important reminder of those who died in the service of their country.

Uncover the interesting history of the holiday we now call Memorial Day. Discover little-known facts about America's Wars and stop by the Veterans Forum message boards to share your views with veterans, their loved ones and fellow history buffs."
The Youtube below I used last year and is a compilation of soldiers and other military related images set to the song "Some Gave All" from Billy Ray Cyrus: . Worth a look-see.

Rolling Thunder Honors Vets Again & Again

I enjoy seeing this year after year as these vets apparently do a well and, it 's a great memorial to their fallen brothers and sisters in defense of our freedoms year after year and the sacrifices they make for us all.

President Bush Welcomes Rolling Thunder Leadership to White House:

White House.comv"THE PRESIDENT: It's been a pleasure of my presidency to get to know the leaders of Rolling Thunder. For our fellow citizens who don't know Rolling Thunder, Rolling Thunder is the moment in time here in Washington, on Memorial Day Weekend, when thousands of motorcyclers come to the nation's capital to pay tribute to those who have died in service, to those who sacrificed, and those who serve. And it's a magnificent sight.

Members of the motorcycle group Rolling Thunder watch President George W. Bush and First Lady Laura Bush land on the South Lawn of the White House from a visit to Camp David. White House photo by Chris Greenberg We just choppered in, Artie, and saw your brothers and sisters cranking up their machines and driving through the nation's capital -- many of them have got the flag on the back. And I am just so honored to welcome you back. I want to thank you and all your comrades for being so patriotic and loving our country as much as you do. I think this is the -- I don't know if this is the eighth time we've been together here, but it's pretty close.

MR. Muller: Pretty close, sir - maybe one more.

THE PRESIDENT: Yes, one more. (Laughter.) Anyway, Artie is the main man and this is his board of directors who have continued to rally people around the country. "continued here

Flags In

Quite a feat these soldiers perform every Memorial day, the placement of over 250,000 flags in Arlingtom Cometary each year and then their subsequent removal. Thanks go out to them for performing this ritual year after year in remembrance of the fallen heroes who defended the country and do so today.

It's them we salute and pray for along with those in harms way today.

Old Guard Sets 'Flags-In' for Memorial Day:

"FORT MYER, Va. (Army News Service, May 23, 2008) -- The 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) began their rounds Thursday afternoon to place a small American flag into the ground in front of every grave marker at Arlington National Cemetery.

The Old Guard became the Army's official ceremonial unit in 1948 and on that Memorial Day every available member of the regiment stood one foot in front of a grave marker at the cemetery, bent over and placed a flag. The Soldiers continued on their rounds around the cemetery until every marker and niche had a flag.

Today there are more than 280,000 graves and the Old Guard troops continue the practice each year at Arlington and the Soldiers' and Airmen's Cemetery.

Trucks full of wooden crates containing tens of thousands of flags arrived at the Selfridge Gate, Fort Myer, around 12:30 p.m. Thursday. The Soldiers took turns filling their rucksacks with bundles of old glory.

The veteran troops yearn for wet ground. It can be tough on the hands pushing a sharpened stake into the hard ground repeatedly. Most wear gloves, but some smart Soldiers use a plastic bottle cap in their palms to prevent wear and tear on the hands." continued here

Telling The Protesters Where To Go Respectfully...

On the eve of this Memorial day a subject comes up that we all will deal with this weekend, nutty uncivil anti war and anything from peanut butter to ozone protesters will be fighting amongst themselves for facetime on CNN or their local newscasts by disrupting parades and memorials to our fallen heroes across the nation.

In additon there will be counterprotesters who are respectfully pay ing tribute to the troops and their mission in a manner far removed from the psycho left wing militants who hate opposing views. Those on the left who cannot tolerate anyone with an opposing view to theirs as the subject of this great story I found below tells, demonstrated by this quote deep in the article:
.....Seen he was. Though there was plenty of room on the corner, he says he was bumped, shoved and challenged. One person asked, "Do you live in fear?" Another demanded, "Why don't you go and serve?"....
"They had that corner for five years, every Saturday, unopposed," Mr. Davis told me. "They couldn't stand the thought of one person having a sign they couldn't tolerate."

The first quote is the typical left wing response to people not on their particular wavelength which most people aren't thank goodness, threats of violence and verbal harassment are a common practice. One poignant example is this one pictured below:

Remember this nutty Code Pink militant woman stalking Condoleeza Rice in a Congressional hearing of all places a while back: (here's the actual video of this nutjob)

Imagine what they get away with around average people not in a protective environment as Rice was supposed to have been that afternoon. As we've all seen and many experiences, it's quite a bit. For clarity purposes, just look at the snapshot differences between a disorderly and obnoxious left wing demonstration and calm collected conservatives counterprotesting, it's like night and day of civility:

Code Pink Commies at Berkeley this year protesting the Marine Recruitment Center they despise so much, For the troops, against the war........... right? Bullspit.

Here's a shot of their real feelings demonstrated by their albeit temporary defacement of our government property on the scene:

Now for the conservatives counterprotesting in the story below:

As I said, night and day

S0 this counter protester below himself started a counter trend to the loons occupying his local streetcorner unchallenged and his story is a great one and worth reading, so I posted part of it below on this Memorial day weekend to pay tribute to those who pay tribute, instead of those who destroy and denigrate this country we love so much along with the troops who protect it and us day in and day out for over two centuries now.:

Protesting the Antiwar Protestors
Cross Country - WSJ.com: "Memorial Day isn't until Monday. But for Rich Davis, a 20-year veteran of the Navy, it seems to come every Saturday. That's when he pulls out a handmade sign and heads for a street corner near the Chester County Court House in this suburban Philadelphia community.

Mr. Davis, 54, is a pro-military protester who makes a public stand each week in support of the troops and their mission."

In 2001, Mr. Davis retired from the Navy and ended up settling in West Chester, where he spent 2006 and 2007 watching antiwar protesters rally each Saturday from 11 a.m. until noon outside the courthouse near his apartment. The Chester County Peace Movement, Mr. Davis would later learn, had been demonstrating at the site since March 2003, when the U.S. invaded Iraq. At first he hoped someone would challenge the protesters, speak up for the troops, and defend their mission. On Sept. 8, 2007 he decided that someone had to be him.

Mr. Davis had been building to such a decision for a long time. He was just a kid during the Vietnam War, but he is still bothered by the disrespect heaped on returning Vietnam vets in the 1960s and '70s. In part that is because, in 1967, Mr. Davis attended the funeral of a man he idolized – his sister's boyfriend, Marine Lance Cpl. Alan R. Schultz from Levittown, Pa. Schultz was killed by mortar fire in Vietnam.

"Al was a great guy," Mr. Davis remembers. "When we got the word that he had been killed, I felt the bottom fall out. I cried the rest of that summer."

Even today, Mr. Davis can't look at an antiwar protest without thinking that Schultz, his comrades and their modern-day counterparts are being disrespected. So after seeing the war protesters each week, Mr. Davis said to himself, "Not this war. Not this time."

"We're not silent anymore," Mr. Davis told me. "We refuse to let antiwar protesters have the stage to themselves."

Not that he wants to stifle dissent. He just doesn't want to go unanswered the signs and protests that he believes encourage the enemy and demoralize U.S. troops. So, sign in hand in September, he walked to the corner praying he would have the strength to stand there, to be seen and heard.

Seen he was. Though there was plenty of room on the corner, he says he was bumped, shoved and challenged. One person asked, "Do you live in fear?" Another demanded, "Why don't you go and serve?"

"They had that corner for five years, every Saturday, unopposed," Mr. Davis told me. "They couldn't stand the thought of one person having a sign they couldn't tolerate."

More people than the antiwar protesters took notice. A few weeks after he started his own weekly protests, Mr. Davis had about 40 sign-holding, flag-waving supporters at his side, thanks to support from the Gathering of Eagles, a national organization supporting the troops. continued here

More Sick Of This Clown Than Shrillary at This Point

This man is raving lunatic and would be barred from being associated with any news organization that had any class whatsoever, but seeing as MSNBC never belonged in that category anyways, I guess his present home is as good as any for someone of his holier than though pontificating nature that rants and raves as he does regularly as if possessing some badge of goodness and righteousness that others do not.

All the points he cites in this 10 minute rant are character flaws that Hillary Clinton has possessed for decades and now that some new liberal lover has come along the woman and man in the Clintons that you loony libs defended high and low for all this time passed are somehow unacceptable to your high standards all of a sudden? What a joke.

The left is more guilty of duplicity than either of the Clintons because they collectively are the ones that created this beast, excusing their behavior all these years and now somehow expecting something better from them? What a bunch of idiots through and through, top to bottom.

Now their treating Obama with the same kid gloves and closed eyes, excusing his already inexcusable behaviors and relationships with scum as their new hero to be as they smell the roses in the Rose garden of the White House and whiz on the Clinton's like the side of a building.

Seeing however that he is anointed anchor status on NBC news political coverage their news organization has reached a low point never seen in their history and may not ever be repeated seeing as their irrelevance is becoming more and more recognized each day this guy is kept on the air in a news capacity.

Free Speech Window Gets Smaller And Smaller With Hussein in The Campaign

I cannot stand Hillary Clinton and never could and in fact am part of the RWC she and Slick hates so much, but for the media and their pet candidate B. Hussein Obama (oops, is that racist?) to climb all over her for simply stating that Robert Kennedy was assassinated in June of '68 while explaining the continuation of her campaign this far is ludicrous and is discriminatory against her in my opinion.

The implication extrapolated by him, his opportunistic supporters and campaign once again exploiting his being PARTLY black and then tying this in with a supposed wish of Hillary that he , Mr Messiah, the Anointed one himself be assassinated in order for her to win the nomination is a god blessed shame and joke. Here was their instantaneous press release upon the news of this remark:

"Senator Clinton's statement before the ARGUS LEADER editorial board was unfortunate and has no place in this campaign, said Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton.

Pretty soon anything anyone says pertaining to or perceived to be against B. Hussein will be off limits it appears, and I for one am sick and tired of this "I'm a minority" force field surrounding him that precludes anyone from saying anything that is somehow related to his campaign is being racist or subject to some retaliatory remark from them, like the statement issued after Clinton said what she said, which there isn't one thing wrong with whatsoever in the context of which she said it, nothing at all.

Robert Kennedy Jr himself has come out and stated this HIMSELF FRIDAY NIGHT,. If he's OK with it , everyone else on the Obama butt kissing wagon should please STFU and stand down now.

The video below is the statement itself in it's intended context, not what the Obamanites wish it to be and are turning it into in their blogosphere echo chamber

Are they (he, his sycophantic & equally opportunistic supporters) somehow now the arbiters of what can and cannot be said now and who can or cannot say it, or the "deciders" of what is right and wrong in the world and in the presidential campaign ? I think not although they obviously think differently.

Clinton Apologizes After Invoking RFK Assassination -

America’s Election HQ: "Hillary Clinton quickly apologized Friday after she invoked the 1968 assassination of Robert Kennedy as a way to explain why she is continuing her underdog bid for the Democratic nomination.

The former first lady made the original comments during an interview with the Sioux Falls Argus Leader editorial board, as she attempted to deflect calls for her to bow out of the race.
“My husband didn’t wrap up the nomination in 1992 until he won the California primary somewhere in the middle of June,” she said. “We all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California. I don’t understand it.”

Obama spokesman Bill Burton said the remark “was unfortunate and has no place in this campaign.”" continued here
My response to him and Hussein would be a private screw you and the horses you both rode in on buddy.

Just Who Exactly Mislead Who On The War?

Seems as if there is now evidence straight from a loudmouthed Dimwit Dem Congressman that the strategy for the 2006 elections was to mislead the public, those too lazy and stupid to seek out or accept the truth, in order to gain seats at the midterm elections in 2006.

Don't believe the charge, see it for yourself here and then you'll see why there are now calls from the PAGOP for this idiot to now resign and likely others to follow since the entire democratic congress is guilty of fraud and deceit perpetrated upon the American people, the gullible left wing particularly as we on the right always knew they we're lying their fat as**s off :

PA GOP: Chairman Gleason Calls On Kanjorski To Resign

pagopwebsite: Republican Party of Pennsylvania: "HARRISBURG – Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Robert A. Gleason, Jr. released the following statement on recent comments made by Congressman Paul Kanjorski admitting that Democrats lied to the public regarding ending the Iraq War in order to win back control of Congress:

“In light of his admission that he and other members of the Democrat Party lied, I believe that Congressman Paul Kanjorski should do the honorable thing and resign immediately. He violated the trust of the people of his district and betrayed them through his purposefully deceitful remarks. I demand that other members of the Democrat delegation come clean as well and let the public know if they were part of this conspiracy.

“Paul Kanjorski said that the Democrats ‘stretched the facts’ for political reasons during the 2006 election cycle. As a veteran, I find Congressman Kanjorski’s admission to lying about the facts of the War startling. The fact that Paul Kanjorski and the Democrats put their own political interests and thirst for power above the lives of the brave men and women fighting to protect our country sickens me. By misleading the nation and the world about the progress being made in Iraq, Kanjorski and the Democrats put the lives of our troops in danger, and they should be deeply ashamed of themselves. continued
Dems Lied and Soldiers Died!!

Time for some congressional hearings and subsequent impeachment proceedings to begin based on this information, speaker of the house 1st on the list as the leader of the dem cabal.

Kerry Visits Ailing Kennedy

Liberal lion Kennedy says outpouring ‘uplifting’

BostonHerald.com: "HYANNIS – Sen. John Kerry met with Sen. Edward M. Kennedy and his wife, Vicki, this morning at their Hyannisport home, where the senior senator has retreated in the wake of his brain cancer diagnosis.

Kerry was seen talking with the couple on the sprawling porch of their seaside home. Before Kerry left, Vicki stood up and hugged him, while the baseball-cap wearing Kennedy shook Kerry’s hand from his seat.

Kerry left at about 11:20 a.m. waving to the small crowd of reporters at a nearby beach as he left the compound in a minivan." continued

This News Has To Bum Out The Left

Hoping and praying there is some lethal disease in these files or even better, a malignant cancer death diagnosis to keep him out of the White House, the news that he, just like his extraordinarily healthy mother is as healthy as can be has to be a big disappointment to them all.

Too bad McCain cannot use this line used by Reagan years ago in this campaign as it is terribly pertinent to this election as well when he quipped during a presidential debate against the left loser of that election Walter Mondale:\\

"I will not make age an issue in this campaign. I'm not going to exploit for political purposes my opponents youth and inexperience."

Meanwhile Obama nor Clinton have released their record, that sounds pretty discriminatory to me and were McCain a democrat and republicans were clamoring for his health records that's exactly what we would be hearing trumpeted around the blogosphere and MSM you can bet your a**.

APNewsBreak: McCain appears cancer-free, healthy:

My Way News - "FOUNTAIN HILLS, Ariz. (AP) - Three-time melanoma survivor John McCain appears cancer-free, has a strong heart and is in otherwise general good health, according to eight years of medical records reviewed by The Associated Press.

The Republican presidential nominee-in-waiting remains at risk for developing new skin cancers, and gets a thorough check by a Mayo Clinic dermatologist every few months.

'I do not see any worrisome lesions,' Dr. Suzanne Connolly concluded after McCain's most recent exam, on May 12."

The details of McCain's health are contained in 1,173 pages of medical documents spanning 2000 to 2008 that his campaign made available to the AP to make the case that he's healthy enough to serve as president, as well as to counter the notion that he's too old. The Arizona senator will turn 72 in August and would be the oldest elected first-term president.

Like many aging Americans, McCain takes medicine to keep his cholesterol in check.

But Mayo internist Dr. John Eckstein, his longtime personal physician, lauded McCain's performance on a heart stress test - sweating it out for 10 minutes when Eckstein routinely sees patients decades younger quit at five or seven minutes.

"I think physiologically he is considerably younger than his chronologic age based on his cardiovascular fitness," Eckstein said in an interview Thursday. "I got a call from the cardiologist who said that he had not seen anyone that age exercise for that long in a long time."

McCain's most recent exams show a range of health issues common in aging: He frequently has precancerous skin lesions removed, and in February had an early stage squamous cell carcinoma, an easily cured skin cancer, removed. He had benign colon growths called polyps taken out during a routine colonoscopy in March.

The Vietnam veteran has degenerative arthritis from war injuries that might mean a future joint replacement. His blood pressure and weight were healthy, and his cholesterol good but not optimal - and he switched medication from the controversial Vytorin that made headlines this past winter to a proven standby, simvastatin.

His likely Democratic rival, Barack Obama, will be 47 in August. Obama, lean and agile and a frequent basketball player, says he has quit smoking. Neither he nor Democratic opponent Hillary Rodham Clinton has released health records. continued

What Are Conservatives Afraid Of....

..afraid may not be exactly the right adjective to use here, at least in my case, in regards to the question posed to the columnist featured below and what worries us about an Obama presidency. My answer to that question is a resounding "How about everything"!.

That would be my response and it would take me about a day to enumerate and post here in this blog what "everything" actually entails, and I may just have to do that once the "Obamanation" actually begins next January if Americans on the left and near the middle cannot be persuaded he is a suicide pact in progress for this great nation at this time.

The post from Townhall columnist and Chicago radio personality Sandy Rios I've posted below says it succinctly enough and I've posted it here for those who may not have yet seen it and wish to. The comments following the post are worth reading as well if you have some spare time to pass.

Why I'm Afraid of a President Barack Obama:

Townhall.com::By Sandy Rios: "“What are you so afraid of?” a caller to my Chicago radio show asked. “Green” is a veteran with two sons serving in Iraq. He is adamantly against the war and adamantly for Barack Obama. Though we don’t agree on much, Green is the consummate gentlemen and his question is a good one. So I must respond.

If Barack Obama is elected President of the United States, I fear our enemies will smell the blood of weakness and rise in retaliation here and abroad. While Obama makes sweeping promises to end the war in Iraq, he never projects the consequences."Radical Islam is waging a holy war against us—and they have no intent on ending their war against the West.

Withdrawal will be perceived as surrender and the election of a president sympathetic to their cause will embolden them like nothing else. Iraq will recede into bloody, sectarian retaliatory violence. Iran will take advantage and wield new power in the region. Our military families will have the sacrifice of their loved ones rendered meaningless. And our enemies will come here.

Israel will find itself alone. Europe and the British Isles, already too overrun with Islamists, will provide little defense. A future President Obama, who is a dear friend to PLO sympathizer andYasser-Arafat-apologist Rashid Kalidi, who is championed by members of Hamas in Gaza and endorsed by one of their leaders, will, I fear, not lift a finger to defend them. It is, after all, this same future president who has sat for 20 years (until recently without objection), listening to Dr. Jeremiah Wright praise Hamas and the famous Israel despiser, Louis Farrakhan. continued here
