God Bless America...
Coming from Buffalo Grove IL, 20 miles NW of King Richard Daley's
Fiefdom AKA Chicago,Illinois,USA the land of the free because of the brave..
Here's one of my first posts and observations on a then potential Obama presidency in Feb 07/ I'm no prophet believe you me..... it was all common sense far too many today simply 'lack',
George Mason explained, “(T)o disarm the people (is) the best and most effectual way to enslave them.” Noah Webster elaborated: “Before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed
These people have incredible video of illegals, Armed terrorists, you name it invading the country each second of every day..
4,419 U.S. troops have died in 7 years of war in Iraq.
They died for us, for the Iraqi's first taste of freedom and to settle some old scores, and frankly in this American's opinion, those people there owe them their asses and us their oil for the next 25 years for asses kicked and 'Mission Accomplished', but thanks to the liberals we'll never see a dime of that sort of payback money.
This day would have happened 5 years ago if the liberals in this country would have kept their mouths and keyboards shut, and supported the war effort like every American sans Vietnam has done during our entire history for the 6 years before bonehead Obama was elected as they have since, as we have the entire time, from the night it started with Shock and Awe.
But they didn't and here we sit 5 years later and almost 4500 military men and women lighter since 911.
It's not so wonderful a gift, but we thank them for all they've done, apologize to them for all they lost, especially their fallen comrades and their families who have suffered untold and immeasurable sacrifices, and we prey they don't have to do it all again in this lifetime.
Even though Iraq had no direct connection to 911 aside from one meeting and the harboring of some Al Queda, our government were the boneheads that created Saddam, so finally after 911 it was up to us to kill the monster before he piled on the 'fun', and our finest in the world military did just that, delivering Saddam and his sons' heads on silver platters to the Iraqi's as promised.
So, perhaps we'll just nuke em next time, because there will be a next time we can rest assured, as long as Islam exists in this world.
Welcome home when you get here, God Bless you all, and the United States of America.
And to the republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible (until the Woodstock liberals came along) with liberty (same thing) and justice for all. (social justice if you're a NAACP peep)
Last U.S. combat convoy has left Iraq "Mosul, Iraq (CNN) -- The last U.S. brigade combat team in Iraq has left the country, a move that helps U.S. President Barack Obama reach his goal of 50,000 troops in the country by September 1.
Their departure leaves about 56,000 U.S. troops in the country, according to the U.S. military.
Capt. Christopher Ophardt, spokesman for the 4th Stryker Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, said the last of the 4,000 members of the unit crossed the border into Kuwait early Thursday.
A few hundred members stayed behind to finish administrative and logistical duties but will fly out of Baghdad later Thursday, Ophardt said
Much of the brigade departed more than a day ago, but the announcement was delayed for security reasons.
Their departure comes more than seven years after U.S. combat forces entered, though their departure does not signify the end of all U.S. combat forces in the country. continued at CNN.com:
This show from last night was really good in certain spots particularly as Levin talked about the rampant multiculturalism in this country, what the founders wanted when they came here to establish an "American Identity" not bring their old cruddy 3rd world Eurotrash society with them, the very one they left in most cases to come here.
Not to come here and tear this place down to the third world level they were fleeing unlike today where a drive through Chicago's Latino neighborhoods is like riding down "Main Street Mexico" for hundreds of square blocks, "a whole different world within a world" is what I call it.
All that was just the first ten minutes of the show which I hope you'll either listen to here or go here so you can see the timer as this embedded pop out player I use doesn't have a timer..
Click to pop out player and you'll see what I mean.
If it doesn't pop here's the show 05/19 The Mark Levin Show ......if you click that one it'll script open a new player, but you'll have to hit your back button to get back here.
That player lets you skip around the entire show at the marks I suggested !! Or listen to the whole thing which is only an hour with no commercials//

Image courtesy defenslink.com as this is their yearly Armed Forces Poster and I'm proud to display it here in their honor today and we honor them every day here you can see to the right top.
I am taking this time and space to thank each and every member of our unparalleled Armed Forces of both present and past, without a doubt the bravest Americans among us all, who have volunteered over the years as well as answering the call of drafts during wartime to defend our freedoms and liberty, making the ultimate sacrifice for the benefit of others both here and around the globe.
The most lethal, educated, powerful and yet incredibly humane fighting forces ever assembled on the face of this earth, in fact within this universe for that matter, the likes of which mankind has never seen until the birth of this great nation formed with their blood sweat and tears 230 plus years ago through this very minute I type this.
This unbridled dedication most people aren't capable of adhering to makes us all proud to be your brothers and sisters in our hearts, minds and souls, and I am proud to salute you all today and everyday along with your loved ones for all your practically inexplicable dedication and incredible sacrifices made on our behalf.
May God watch over you all as you do the dangerous things you must do each and every day, and may he bring you all who are presently in combat around the world in our names back home safe and sound as soon as humanly possible, back to this land of the free and home of the brave, that is all thanks to you and your fine work that made it this way.
We all owe you a debt of gratitude that can never be adequately payed back.
All I can offer you is my complete unmitigated support and continued prayers for you all as you keep the world and America safe and free from evil and tyrannical forces out there that wish us all harm.
Thank You..

When we were kids I remember her being hot stuff man, on Sesame Street I remember her singing ABC's which is linked at the bottom. I thought they had a Flintstone cameo with her too, but I couldn't find anything on that...musta been dreaming that one I guess. lol.
While growing up in the 60's and 70's she was always amongst the classiest acts in Hollywood, in the days when the stars where all in competition to see which one could shine the brightest.
Not like today's Hollywood Sparkler's since you cannot call them "stars" who are all in competition with one another to see who could bash the country the most while banking the most unreal coin while doing it on their way to an early death laughing and mocking middle America the entire time.
Today they're all shooting stars that burn out before they even lit up the sky. Actresses and musicians versatile as she who have been around in the business when and where it all began, like the Jackson 5 when the performers could dance, sing, act, they could do everything. Those good old days are definitely gone a little more forever each time one more from the "greatest generation" leaves us, naturally.
America needs more women and men like she at a time where we see less and less when you have women who disdain women like her blessed with God given talent an beauty very few are graced with in this life.
May she RIP.

Frankly I have to say I'm surprised he doesn't show this side of himself more often considering his "metrosexual" makeup, but he actually shed some real tears at the funeral the "Godmother" of the civil rights movement, who you can see with my two favorite presidents below along with the "tears seen 'round the world'" from the Mail Online collection this morning...
"with President Ronald Regan during a reception at the White House in 1983"
Frankly I'd rather see pictures of the president showing his emotions in this way rather than see him bowing down to Muslim Kings and the likes.... lefties are good actors though and I'm sure Obama can do this act pretty good, as I too could pull tears on demand as a child. lol

Whose country is this?: "With the support of 70 percent of its citizens, Arizona has ordered sheriffs and police to secure the border and remove illegal aliens, half a million of whom now reside there.
Arizona acted because the U.S. government has abdicated its constitutional duty to protect the states from invasion and refuses to enforce America's immigration laws.
'We in Arizona have been more than patient waiting for Washington to act,' said Gov. Jan Brewer. 'But decades of inaction and misguided policy have created an unacceptable situation.'
We have a crisis in Arizona because we have a failed state in Washington.
What is the response of Barack Obama, who took an oath to see to it that federal laws are faithfully executed?
He is siding with the law-breakers. He is pandering to the ethnic lobbies. He is not berating a Mexican regime that aids and abets this invasion of the country of which he is commander in chief. Instead, he attacks the government of Arizona for trying to fill a gaping hole in law enforcement left by his own dereliction of duty.
He has denounced Arizona as 'misguided.' He has called on the Justice Department to ensure that Arizona's sheriffs and police do not violate anyone's civil rights. But he has said nothing about the rights of the people of Arizona who must deal with the costs of having hundreds of thousands of lawbreakers in their midst.
How's that for Andrew Jackson-style leadership?"
Fair enough. But the nation rose up as one to reject the "path-to-citizenship" – i.e., amnesty – that the 2007 plan of George W. Bush, McCain, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama envisioned.
Al Sharpton threatens to go to Phoenix and march in the streets against the new Arizona law. Let him go.
Let us see how many African-Americans, who are today frozen out of the 8 million jobs held by illegal aliens that might otherwise go to them or their children, will march to defend an invasion for which they are themselves paying the heaviest price.
Last year, while Americans were losing a net of 5 million jobs, the U.S. government – Bush and Obama both – issued 1,131,000 green cards to legal immigrants to come and take the jobs that did open up, a flood of immigrants equaled in only four other years in our history.
What are we doing to our own people?
Whose country is this, anyway?
America today has an establishment that, because it does not like the immigration laws, countenances and condones wholesale violation of those laws.
Nevertheless, under those laws, the U.S. government is obligated to deport illegal aliens and punish businesses that knowingly hire them.

But when 'The Dark, Dark Hours' episode of General Electric Theater aired live from Hollywood on December 12, 1954, Ronald Reagan and James Dean were just two actors yet to find the roles that would define them."

In a rare sit-down interview, Oscar-winning actor Al Pacino talks to
Katie Couric about his films and how he prepares for them, including
his upcoming movie in which he stars as Dr. Jack Kevorkian.
I like most conservatives abandoned CBS when their supposed house elder decided to try and effect an election with years old bogus information that the entirety of the internet knew was bull and so he did he, ending a storybook career with one helluva story alright, how he was put out to pasture for lying.
However I like Al Pacino more than I hate Kutesy Katie the K*** and
here's the interview in case you also boycott See BS and would've
missed this just tonight, it's good. This is the only thing Katie does
well which she quit doing like an idiot and that is interview Hollywood
which is 95% assholes, Pacino in my book at least is one of the 5% greats.
70 years old, 4 decades in Hollywood starring in 42 films, yet never married and he's not freaking gay!! Any one man who can do that in that hellhole town is special. Hooah!
With that interview they actually suckered my into watching the next show, which was good too while I flipped between the Blackhawks and IT, which was the CMA awards featuring some "more down to earth Country stars" which even had Cher there who IS NOT a country star but has a show on the Vegas strip I guess where the show was taped and I haven't seen that lady in a decade.
Looks like just like she did 5 million bucks and probably 10 operations ago!!
Anyhow it was the first time I've watched a network tv show in 5 years and that is the honest truth aside from a sporting event.
All because of;
Dan Rather, David Letterman, Katie Couric, All of NBC minus Leno and Seinfeld, all of ABC, etc etc....They still have a long way to get me to watch their channels regularly ever again, but for a night they actually did a decent job at the network I call SEE BS>
While catching the Master's over the weekend I also watched some Reagan movies and bio's along with reading a great book called the "Crusader", which details Reagan's lifelong battle against communism. Essentially a one man communist wrecking crew all the way from the Screen Actors Guild to the Berlin Wall to the Soviet Union and back, if we can only make it through the hiring of the first "Socialist president" elected in America.
And man do we need him or his second coming more than ever, and that was my very reason for reviewing all this material which I've seen and read before. But if you want to spend a weekend learning all about his brave fight against the communists which can be likened to today's Tea Party folks who see Marxism in today's president these three bio's will do the job.
I wanted a better feel for what I think Reagan would do about Muslim extremists and the Obama Far Left Lurch towards Marxism he fought his entire life right here in his beloved country, twice occupying our oval office to make it even worse than he himself could have ever imagined 6 years after his death.
I also bought Biography's Ronald Reagan: A Legacy Remembered, which was also great although one must tolerate his annoying son Ronald, who doesn't anchor the thing, but obviously offers all his experiences with his beloved father as does the more tolerable and patriotic conservative Michael, the adopted son of Reagan and his first wife.
At an hour and a half it was just long enough and I'm glad I bought it 'cause I'll check it out again and again, I've seen it a couple times, not to mention living through it all of course lol He also shared a February birthday with my maternal grandfather who loved Reagan and lived til' April 19th, 1995 which itself is an notorious day in our history. (Think OK City Bombing, Ruby Ridge, etc)
This little ten minute thing is essentially the Biography one done in good old liberal PBS fashion but it's worth a look as well. It's part of a Communists in Hollywood thing I also watched in conjunction with this other stuff and it can watched and found at the link below.
..........seen here in a meeting upon his election to the Board of Directors of the Screen Actors Guild in 1941, serving as an alternate. Following World War II, he resumed service and became 3rd Vice president in 1946. Reagan, an active anti-Communist, ends his first marriage. He meets and marries actress Nancy Davis."
Check those three great easy to digest resources out on the the "great communicator" perhaps our finest president at least in the modern era and be armed against any liberal you'll encounter in our present ideological battle as to why Obama will go down as one of if not America's worst president in her short but glorious history.

I wrote about this a couple months ago and it looks like it's back on the front burner, at least it is for some Ohioan's who don't want "their man" Grant removed from the 50 spot in favor of the great communicator. Our last great 2 time president who many think was our best modern day if not all time presidents. He's definitely in the top 5 on anyone's list and in the top 3 if it's to be taken seriously in my opinion. But..
Thing is, by the time they make up their minds on this deal, Americans may not have to worry about who's face is on the bill, since many of them will never see one ever again in their wallets, at least in the near future with Obama as president. In all seriousness, not that that wasn't serious, I agree with the ones who say "put Ronnie on something else to honor him" which includes some Republican Ohioans as well.
Grant was a great president too in his way, and take this away from him and who remembers the man? I feel that way about the elder statesman and founders prior circa 1900, they deserve more accolade than they get, not less. Everyone after that almost has just helped dig our grave we're all sitting in right now.

Yes, Reagan was absolutely right and Medicare has led to Socialism as the democrats keep power by giving the people things "back" that they've already payed for and only liberals consider that to be "free".
I guess they would think it's "free" if they're anything like their dear leader who's never had a job nor created one "STILL", nor payed the monstrous taxes that are about to stealthily triple as we pay for "Free Health Care" both coming and going.
We know for a fact that half the people he tried to (and did) stuff into his cabinet with sure didn't pay their taxes either, as even the dem head of " the house ways and means" committee which writes the tax laws, Charlie Bahama Rangel, didn't even pay them, think the "average" liberal does? Or better yet the Treasury Head, Turbo Tax Geithner, no taxes.
And their lear jet segment gets away with it too I would imagine, since the others do. I wouldn't know, I've always paid them like a sucker I guess. I like it outside of prison where most dems eventually end up one way or another.
latimes.com: "President Harry S. Truman is considered the grandfather of universal healthcare, having first proposed it in 1945. 'The health of American children, like their education, should be recognized as a definite public responsibility,' he said.
Twenty years later, when President Lyndon B. Johnson signed the Medicare Act into law, he invited Truman, then 81 years old, to be at his side. Then LBJ enrolled Truman as the first beneficiary of the new program that provided healthcare for the 65-and-older set, calling him 'the real daddy of Medicare.'
But Medicare, much like President Obama's healthcare reform legislation, did not become law without a political fight. In fact, the American Medical Assn. mobilized a massive campaign against the idea, working tirelessly to stop the reform in Congress.
And to serve as the public face of its campaign against a government-sponsored health plan, the AMA chose none other than Ronald Reagan, the star of 'General Electric Theater' and former president of the Screen Actors Guild whose views on politics matched its own.
Warning that enacting Medicare would lead to socialism in America, Reagan said that if Americans did not stop Medicare reform, 'one of these days you and I are going to spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was once like in America when men were free.'
In an 11-minute recording for the AMA, Reagan invoked the name of Norman Thomas, the Socialist Party presidential candidate, saying:
'Now back in 1927 an American socialist, Norman Thomas, six times candidate for president on the Socialist Party ticket, said the American people would never vote for socialism. But he said under the name of liberalism the American people would adopt every fragment of the socialist program. . . . One of the traditional methods of imposing statism or socialism on a people has been by way of medicine. It's very easy to disguise a medical program as a humanitarian project. . . .
'Now, the American people, if you put it to them about socialized medicine and gave them a chance to choose, would unhesitatingly vote against it. We have an example of this. Under the Truman administration, it was proposed that we have a compulsory health insurance program for all people in the United States, and, of course, the American people unhesitatingly rejected this.'
Reagan's prescription? 'Write to our congressmen and senators,' he said. 'The key issue is this: We do not want socialized medicine . . . demand the continuation of our traditional free-enterprise system.'
Sound familiar?"

Republican Rep. Patrick McHenry wants Congress to tell the U.S Treasury to replace former President Ulysses S. Grant on the bill. McHenry announced his bill Tuesday. He has 13 Republican co-sponsors.

McHenry said Reagan transformed the nation's political and economic thinking and argued that 'every generation needs its own heroes.'

It may have been the audacity of the attacks, but
more likely it was his family's long history of military service that
drew him to enlist, he said. Both grandfathers served, as did an uncle

So he dropped out of college,
walked away from the record deal and joined the United States Marine

After serving in Iraq, he and his entire battalion

the vehicle he was riding in hit an anti-tank mine and he was thrown

Aside from Great pitcher Rick Sutcliffe and perennial All Star second baseman Ryne Sandberg, there's no other man responsible for the few successes the Cubs did have in the mid 1980's than Andre Dawson who came to the Cubs via free agency's infancy from the now defunct Montreal Expos.
His election to the baseball hall of fame today after 8 previous denials was a good selection for a great man and great player as well. The other two men eligible expected to make the cut, second baseman Sandy Alomar, who's entire family are former and even presently ball players (son Roberto, a catcher), and Burt Blyleven, longtime Minnesota Twins pitcher, didn't make it this year, but will sometime down the road more likely than not.
TribAlomar was followed by pitcher Jack Morris with 282 (52.3 percent). Cincinnati shortstop Barry Larkin
was on 278 ballots (51.6 percent), followed by reliever Lee Smith at
255 (47.3 percent) and Edgar Martinez at 195 (36.2 percent). (link below)
Dawson, one of the players of older times with first class exemplary behavior year after after year, was often grouped together with Superstars Michael Jordan and or Walter Payton as the "Windy City Big Men On Campus" during those times. An honor that continues even through today, despite Walter Payton's sad and terribly untimely death, as evidenced by this poster that many of we Chicagoan's had back in the day, and some still do... Good local Trib piece here
mlb - SI.com: "NEW YORK (AP) -Andre Dawson has been elected to the Hall of Fame, while Bert Blyleven and Roberto Alomar fell just short of earning baseball's highest honor.
Dawson received 420 of 539 votes in voting announced Wednesday by the Baseball Writers' Association of America, 15 more than the 75 percent necessary to gain election. The eight-time All-Star, appearing on the ballot for the ninth time, had fallen 44 votes short last year.
Blyleven had 400 votes, up from 338 last year, and will likely get in because he has two more tries on the BBWAA ballot.
Alomar received 397 votes in his first appearance and was followed by Jack Morris with 282."

Please take all you want, that's why they're here, just leave the name as is like I do, and I would be eternally grateful.
Ask and I'll tweak it for your site if you need it...
