'Iraq Mission Accomplished' as Last U.S. combat convoy has left Iraq

4,419 U.S. troops have died in 7 years of war in Iraq.

They died for us, for the Iraqi's first taste of freedom and to settle some old scores, and frankly in this American's opinion, those people there owe them their asses and us their oil for the next 25 years for asses kicked and 'Mission Accomplished', but thanks to the liberals we'll never see a dime of that sort of payback money.

This day would have happened 5 years ago if the liberals in this country would have kept their mouths and keyboards shut, and supported the war effort like every American sans Vietnam has done during our entire history for the 6 years before bonehead Obama was elected as they have since, as we have the entire time, from the night it started with Shock and Awe.

But they didn't and here we sit 5 years later and almost 4500 military men and women lighter since 911.

It's not so wonderful a gift, but we thank them for all they've done, apologize to them for all they lost, especially their fallen comrades and their families who have suffered untold and immeasurable sacrifices, and we prey they don't have to do it all again in this lifetime.

Even though Iraq had no direct connection to 911 aside from one meeting and the harboring of some Al Queda, our government were the boneheads that created Saddam, so finally after 911 it was up to us to kill the monster before he piled on the 'fun', and our finest in the world military did just that, delivering Saddam and his sons' heads on silver platters to the Iraqi's as promised.

So, perhaps we'll just nuke em next time, because there will be a next time we can rest assured, as long as Islam exists in this world.

Welcome home when you get here, God Bless you all, and the United States of America.

Last U.S. combat convoy has left Iraq "Mosul, Iraq (CNN) -- The last U.S. brigade combat team in Iraq has left the country, a move that helps U.S. President Barack Obama reach his goal of 50,000 troops in the country by September 1.

Their departure leaves about 56,000 U.S. troops in the country, according to the U.S. military.

Capt. Christopher Ophardt, spokesman for the 4th Stryker Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, said the last of the 4,000 members of the unit crossed the border into Kuwait early Thursday.

A few hundred members stayed behind to finish administrative and logistical duties but will fly out of Baghdad later Thursday, Ophardt said

Much of the brigade departed more than a day ago, but the announcement was delayed for security reasons.

Their departure comes more than seven years after U.S. combat forces entered, though their departure does not signify the end of all U.S. combat forces in the country. continued at CNN.com:

An Armed Forces Day 2010 Thank you.

I am taking this time and space to thank each and every member of our unparalleled Armed Forces of both present and past, without a doubt the bravest Americans among us all, who have volunteered over the years as well as answering the call of drafts during wartime to defend our freedoms and liberty, making the ultimate sacrifice for the benefit of others both here and around the globe.

The most lethal, educated, powerful and yet incredibly humane fighting forces ever assembled on the face of this earth, in fact within this universe for that matter, the likes of which mankind has never seen until the birth of this great nation formed with their blood sweat and tears 230 plus years ago through this very minute I type this.

This unbridled dedication most people aren't capable of adhering to makes us all proud to be your brothers and sisters in our hearts, minds and souls, and I am proud to salute you all today and everyday along with your loved ones for all your practically inexplicable dedication and incredible sacrifices made on our behalf.

May God watch over you all as you do the dangerous things you must do each and every day, and may he bring you all who are presently in combat around the world in our names back home safe and sound as soon as humanly possible, back to this land of the free and home of the brave, that is all thanks to you and your fine work that made it this way.

We all owe you a debt of gratitude that can never be adequately payed back.

All I can offer you is my complete unmitigated support and continued prayers for you all as you keep the world and America safe and free from evil and tyrannical forces out there that wish us all harm.

Some Good News For A Change.... Court upholds 'under God' in Pledge of Allegiance

Good news at least coming from this lunatic fringe 9th circuit court out west in San Fran Freakshow who actually "upheld", yes that's "upheld" the use of the word "GOD" in our pledge of allegiance which I'm not even sure they say in the schools anymore for fear of the wrath of the Atheist loons.

This man Michael Newdow along with local Buffalo Grove atheist a hole Bob Sherman who lives nearby, too close for my comfort frankly must be really crying in their soup this morning over this one, and I say GOOD!

And furthermore my message to those two this morning is "Don't choke on your tears you two American hating jags".

My Way News "SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - A federal appeals court in San Francisco upheld the use of the words 'under God' in the Pledge of Allegiance and 'In God We Trust' on U.S. currency, rejecting arguments on Thursday that the phrases violate the separation of church and state.

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals panel rejected two legal challenges by Sacramento atheist Michael Newdow, who claimed the references to God disrespect his religious beliefs.

'The Pledge is constitutional,' Judge Carlos Bea wrote for the majority in the 2-1 ruling. 'The Pledge of Allegiance serves to unite our vast nation through the proud recitation of some of the ideals upon which our Republic was founded.'

The same court ruled in Newdow's favor in 2002 after he sued his daughter's school district for having students recite the pledge at school.

That lawsuit reached the U.S. Supreme Court in 2004, but the high court ruled that Newdow lacked the legal standing to file the suit because he didn't have custody of his daughter, on whose behalf he brought the case.

So Newdow, who is a doctor and lawyer, filed an identical challenge on behalf of other parents who objected to the recitation of the pledge at school. In 2005, a federal judge in Sacramento decided in Newdow's favor, ruling that the pledge was unconstitutional.

'I want to be treated equally,' Newdow said when he argued the case before the 9th Circuit in December 2007. He added that supporters of the phrase 'want to have their religious views espoused by the government.'

In a separate 3-0 ruling Thursday, the appeals court upheld the inscription of the national motto 'In God We Trust' on coins and currency, saying that the phrase is ceremonial and patriotic, not religious.

Reached on his cell phone, Newdow said he hadn't been aware that the appeals court had ruled against him Thursday.

'Oh man, what a bummer,' he said.

Newdow said he would comment further after he had read the decisions."

The Associated Press: NC congressman wants Ronald Reagan put on $50 bill: "RALEIGH, N.C. — A U.S. congressman from North Carolina wants the $50 bill redrawn to feature the face of former President Ronald Reagan.

Republican Rep. Patrick McHenry wants Congress to tell the U.S Treasury to replace former President Ulysses S. Grant on the bill. McHenry announced his bill Tuesday. He has 13 Republican co-sponsors.

Grant was a Union general during the Civil War who led the North to victory and later became the nation's 18th president.

McHenry said Reagan transformed the nation's political and economic thinking and argued that 'every generation needs its own heroes.'

One of McHenry's Republican primary opponents, Scott Keadle, said he admires Reagan, too. But he accused McHenry of pandering to voters with the bill instead of focusing his work on the bad economy."

War Vet Training to Be 911 Operator Saves Own Son's Life When Wife Calls for Help - Local News | News Articles | National News | US News - FOXNews.com

FOXNews.com: "OLYMPIA, Wash. — An Iraq war veteran training to be an emergency operator in Thurston County saved his own son's life when his wife called 911 in a panic as the boy choked on a small piece of plastic.

Janna Scott says she was 'freaking out' on Feb. 4 when she called 911 from her Lacey home last week to ask for help because her baby Jacob was choking and not breathing. A familiar voice answered the phone. Coolly and calmly, Chris Scott talked his wife through the proper procedure.

Chris, 23, left Iraq in September after a one-year deployment as a tank crew member with the Marine Reserves. He told The Olympian newspaper it's in his nature to remain calm under stress.

But the Yelm High School graduate who grew up in the Olympia area said he was scared inside as he realized the person in danger was their son.

'My heart was pounding,' he said. 'My hands were a little bit shaky.'

Chris said he referred to instructions on what to do in cases involving a choking baby and them to Janna. He also sent emergency responders to their address.  continued

This week we salute

Stephen Cochran

1st Marine Expeditionary Force

Stephen Cochran had it all in front of him. College, a fiancée and an offer for a professional recording contract. But life had other plans for him. The day was September 11, 2001. "It was just so horrific," Cochran said. "It's like I'd been called. I'd never been pulled so hard to do something."

It may have been the audacity of the attacks, but more likely it was his family's long history of military service that drew him to enlist, he said. Both grandfathers served, as did an uncle and several other relatives.

So he dropped out of college, walked away from the record deal and joined the United States Marine Corps. "I've always been raised very, very patriotic. It's just what I had to do."

After serving in Iraq, he and his entire battalion volunteered to go to Afghanistan with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit where Cochran was injured in an ambush. 20 yards inside Kandahar, the vehicle he was riding in hit an anti-tank mine and he was thrown from the vehicle and broke the five vertebrae in his lower back.

In either case, they are the real American heroes of today, and we now honor both the fallen and the presently serving and enlisted with this feature week after week and thanks for reading and supporting these fine men and women throughout 2009 as it comes to a close and beyond.

For the past year in spite of Obama and his criminal minions, we all have much to be thankful for, and the truth is when the rubber hits the road, these are the ONLY men and women who make that all possible standing between American's sworn enemies, and that's no melodramatic bullshit, it's "truth, justice and American way" for real..

So given that, this week especially, along with all our beloved military men and women each and every day we give thanks for and salute.....

Creator of our First 50-Star American Flag Dies Today

Creator of First 50-Star American Flag Dies -

FOXNews.com:  SAGINAW, Mich — Robert G. Heft, who is credited with designing and sewing the first 50-star American flag, has died. He was 67.

Wakeman Funeral Home says Heft died Saturday at a hospital in Saginaw. A cause of death wasn't immediately available.

Heft made the flag in 1958 as part of a high school history project in Lancaster, Ohio. He spent more than 12 hours sewing the design on his mother's Singer sewing machine.

President Dwight D. Eisenhower chose Heft's design to replace the 48-star flag.

Born in Saginaw, Heft left Michigan after his parents separated when he was about a year old. He returned after retiring from Northwest State Community College in Archbold, Ohio, where he was a professor.

Heft's death was first reported by WSGW-AM in Saginaw."

22 year old local Crystal Lake IL Man Killed Tues (Waiting for Obama's Dithering To End)

I hope Hussein enjoys his Thanksgiving dinner with his family as one local soldier, Army Specialist Jason McLeod, who was killed in Afghanistan while it took Obama 3 freaking months to come up with some kind of troop strategy won't be spending the holiday tomorrow or any other for that matter with his family who will instead be mourning his tragic loss.

May God rest this young man's soul and all prayers for his family and all the others men, women and their loved ones shouldering almost the entire burden of the war against terror that Obama and the left still barely admit exists.

Particularly along with their unnacceptable waffling for a troop surge for months on end at this pivotal moment in the Afghan war which was put forward by General McCrystal MONTHS AGO after a two month report was assembled at Hussein's request ...

So tell this family Holder and Hussein that there's no hurry and you'll address this once you're done eating your turkey...The most tragic part by the way?.....tihis man was supposed to come home in 22 days, which was ironically his age.

Crystal Lake Soldier, 22, Killed in Afghanistan | NBC Chicago: "A 22-year-old soldier from Crystal Lake was killed Monday in a mortar attack in Afghanistan, military officials say.

Army Specialist Jason McLeod was serving his second deployment -- he'd also served in Iraq in 2007 -- and was just three weeks away from coming home, the Northwest Herald reported.

He was a 2006 graduate of Crystal Lake High School.

McLeod had been married for more than two years and had a 15-month-old daughter, Jocelyn Elizabeth, who was able to see her dad via Web cam from time to time.

Here Senator McCain, the war hero who should be the president, chimed in on Obama's dithering with Greta Tuesday...

The Age Of Obama...War Hero's Remains Stolen Before Burial

I barely have words for a slimy sack of crud who would steal someone else's vehicle number one and then to discover a man's remains in an urn and simply dispose of them or whatever this simian did last week in Obama's crime ridden filth infested Washington DC as you will see in the video below....

Were I the president no stone would go unturned in the location, prosecution and then electrocution of any slug in this country that would deface or disgrace in any way the people who keep this near third world country safe and free from our enemies..Period...Death penalty.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Army Col. Norbert Schmidt served his country. Now, someone has done him an extraordinary disservice.

Schmidt was a husband, father and grandfather. He was also a West Point alum who'd been wounded in the Korean War. Most of his buddies died in Korea.

It may be one of the reasons he chose to be buried at Arlington National Cemetery.

'He lived, they died in Korea. A lot of it had to do with that. To be with the people he sort of felt he should have died with because they all died around him,' said Schmidt's daughter, Carol.

So the family came to Washington— all 22 of them-- including children, grandchildren and his widow, Donna. After a meeting at Arlington on Thursday, they decided to take the kids to the National Museum of the American Indian. They parked their rented van nearby.

Afterward, they noticed the GPS device was missing. It turned out a lock had been broken and the brass urn holding the ashes, the death certificate and Schmidt's Army discharge papers were all missing."  continued

Col. Henry J. Cook

Past National Commander, Military Order of the Purple Heart, after serving over fifteen years with MOPH, gaining invaluable experience while in the positions of National Aide-de-Camp, Chapter Commander, Region Commander, National Junior Vice Commander and National Senior Vice Commander.

He was a career Special Forces (Green Beret) officer for thirty-three of the total forty-two years that he was on combined active and reserve duty. His combat tours began in 1967-68 when he operated behind enemy lines in for extended periods of time conducting operations with native guerrilla troops as the Executive Officer of the 4th Mobile Guerrilla. He saw additional combat in 1969-70 when he led a U.S. Special Forces Mobile Strike Force Battalion (MIKE FORCE), consisting of Green Beret officers and sergeants leading Cambodian mercenaries, again working behind enemy lines as well as reacting to attacks on friendly bases, often requiring that his unit be parachuted into hostile drop zones.

Later, he participated in Desert Shield (Saudi Arabia), Desert Storm (Kuwait) and Iraq, and Operation Provide Comfort (Support to Kurdish refugees in Northern Iraq.

For his valor and military skills, Colonel Cook was awarded the Bronze Star Medal with V device for Valor and two Oak Leaf Clusters, Army Commendation Medal with VDevice and one Oak Leaf Cluster, Purple Heart with One Oak Leaf Cluster, Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry with Gold and Silver Stars, Joint Services Commendation Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, Master Parachutist Badge, Special Forces Combat Diver Badge, Special Forces Tab, and numerous other U.S. and foreign decorations.

Henry Cook is now twice retired, as a soldier and as a lawyer and resides in Diamondhead, Mississippi. He is a member of the Pro Bono Consortium representing veterans who appeal denial of claims and is a member of the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veteran's Claims. He's been a member of the Mississippi Bar Association since 1978 and also serves as a Municipal Judge Pro Tem in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi.

Other significant contributions to veterans by Henry Cook include: a major role in the creation of the Mississippi Vietnam Veterans'  Memorial in Ocean Springs and helping raise over $500,000 to help MOPH members in Louisiana and Mississippi who lost everything during Hurricane Katrina. In addition to MOPH, he also belongs to Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Special Forces Association (SFA), Special Operations Association (SOA), Military Order of the World Wars (MOWW).

Former Top NYPD Cop Bernard Kerik's Case Tough To Watch

I hate Geraldo most of the time but he was right on with this assessment Saturday night on the Kerik Case and this video meshes well with the story below I wrote  Sunday before seeing this video this morning from the show sat. regarding Bernard Kerik and the brutal unfairness of this case...

This case just makes me very sad I must admit.... seeing any man who became  as successful  as  Bernard Kerik did, and then to be destroyed as he is being at the moment is tough to watch  be done again to anyone . At least it is for me.  Especially seeing one who became a 911 hero and has done countless unselfish and great things for humanity taken down like this; basically over some bullsh** home improvements he probably could have easily paid for himself one would think.

Or, perhaps on the other hand he didn't think anything was wrong with accepting tall his work, which is kind of hard to believe being he was the top cop of NYC as long as he was, especially $250 G's worth of it as is being reported and he is being charged with...but who really knows the truth besides he and the people? At least until he's heard in court which leads me to believe this is planted in the media to make him look worse than he already does. 

Many out there in fact feel this attack against Kerik is just payback for all the good Rudy Giuliani years minus post 911, and  frankly I tend to agree with that hypothesis from all the information available to the public so far.  Then again, the other half  of the people think he and Giuliani are absolute scum, and could do no right no matter how hard they tried..  Oh, and who were also complicit in the planning and execution of 911 with 19 Muslim Hijackers, Osama Bin Laden and Sheik whatever the hell his name is  (yea right)

Guess for yourself who those detractors and haters could possibly be besides the MOB and a certain faction of anti Kerik and Giuliani NY cops and firefighters who hate them for all the 911 glory they took from them in their eyes, and I must admit they both tended to milk a little too much after the fact. (..or look, search, and read  here all kinds of that stuff if you wish)

But I do know one thing for certain, we see rapists (decade long fugitive rapist scum bucket  Roman Polanski) and murderers (Charles Manson and his tribe for starters since we name Polanski, Sharon's Tate's wife I mean husband) treated with a little more sympathy and respect than this hero of a man has been treated thus far.

Fact of the matter is he's already been convicted and copped  a plea on this deal, and is being retried, here in America, for statements made when he was thrust into the Bush homeland security position that he dropped out of under duress for these reasons related to the case to which he pleaded to.

And if the story going around posted below is true, to see his psyche falling apart as well is double sad after making it through 911 mostly unscathed it appeared at least, that is unless he's taking a page from the crook handbook and playing a nut to aid his defense...

And truthfully, if he is, well so be it I say in the Age of Obama, I really don't care...he doesn't deserve this crap.

Reason being, if this is all they have on this man for starters, in comparison they in the government and law enforcement should be one day executing dem lawmaker and breaker Charlie Rangel for his mounds and mounds of alleged malfeasance, when compared to Kerik's piddly charges. That is if he's ever charged, tried and then convicted of his specific cavalcade of accusations.  He could also be counted amongst the democrats who hid the troubles at Fannie and Freddie, so we could see some charges down the road for that as well if a third party can make some headway for 2012..

I know what you're saying...." two "wrongs" don't make a "right", but just look at this fat f****er living it up at his vacation home a while back, pic taken by the New York Post, makes ya mad doesn't it? It should.

In contrast,  the charges leveled against him (Rangel) are  20 times worse than Kerik's, meanwhile Kerik is held without bail like a common double murderer, yet Bahama Charlie is living large as we can see, in addition to still holding office and working as well, not to mention raking in all the perks and profits as the all  powerful "Ways and Means" Head  thug that come special delivery under the table

And don't ever forget those "favors to be named at a later date"....I know how this crap works ...believe me.

Let's not even mention that no one in Government will even investigate this vigorously nor properly since all of DC and New York  is filled with Obama worshiping democrats ...we have the same problem here in Illinois now that the establishment has thrown Rod Blagojevich under the Obama bus..so it's either that, or his day of reckoning on his knees is soon coming, which I also find hard to fathom under the present political conditions, so therefore, I say skate Bernie however you can...........F - 'Em All!

Bernie Kerik has jail's psychiatric director worried

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- A federal judge says former top cop Bernie Kerik is displaying some worrying behavior in jail.

Judge Stephen Robinson did not describe the symptoms today. But he said the Westchester County jail's psychiatric director expressed concern about actions that “were not ordinary.”

"There were things unexplained described to me that were either said or done that raised a level of concern for them," said Robinson, according to WNBC.com.

Robinson raised the possibility that Kerik would have to waive doctor-patient privilege or even undergo a court-ordered examination.   continued
