He also was advised to listen to his parents, Husak said. Husak did not know why the boy was being punish"

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Army Col. Norbert Schmidt served his country. Now, someone has done him an extraordinary disservice.

Schmidt was a husband, father and grandfather. He was also a West Point alum who'd been wounded in the Korean War. Most of his buddies died in Korea.

It may be one of the reasons he chose to be buried at Arlington National Cemetery.

'He lived, they died in Korea. A lot of it had to do with that. To be with the people he sort of felt he should have died with because they all died around him,' said Schmidt's daughter, Carol.

So the family came to Washington— all 22 of them-- including children, grandchildren and his widow, Donna. After a meeting at Arlington on Thursday, they decided to take the kids to the National Museum of the American Indian. They parked their rented van nearby.

Afterward, they noticed the GPS device was missing. It turned out a lock had been broken and the brass urn holding the ashes, the death certificate and Schmidt's Army discharge papers were all missing."  continued

The fact that they hate Cheney with such a passion equaled only by their hatred for Bush speaks volumes to their effectiveness as far as I'm concerned as if the Muslims hate em and left hate em their doing exactly what I would want from them to be done.

Cheney was by far was my favorite vice president in my 44 years, most of all a man of a thousand life accomplishments in both government and the private sector, a man who knew how to use our American power to it's full potential over the past 7 years in particular, putting those radical Muslims back in their caves where they belonged after the 911 attacks where they could do us or the world the least harm.

So just like the old EF Hutton commercials, when he speaks, I like tens upon tens of millions of others listen.

One final reason for my admiration of Cheney is how he by the way makes this present senatorial nimrod Biden look like a circus clown as far as I'm concerned. You remember, about long enough to have a cup of saki and get his ass shot full of rice, by himself of coarse, earning himself the quickest 4 Purple Hearts in US Military history.

Cheney also reiterated his call on President Obama to declassify documents he says show the success of aggressive interrogation techniques.

"If anybody takes a look at the record, they'll find that we had significant success as a result of these policies," he said. UPUPDATE: Scott in San Antonio says he & friends successfully redeemed PDF-based coupons. Since he says all coupons' barcodes were the same, I assume they all ended in 1234, which seems to be all you get from the PDF version.

I was able to print it no problem with FireFox. I also saved the PDF. Others who went to get it got the same coupon code. We all went to lunch together and joined the long line of other people waiting for their free chicken. We were politely served and while it took about 10 minutes for our food to be ready, we did get it and in no way felt slighted.

I guess I know what I will be eating for the next two weeks! :)

She may get a book deal, recording contract, or a modeling gig. She probably won’t be earning $4,300-an-hour, but she will be able to work, for the most part, standing up.

Personally, I’m hoping her name becomes a noun.

At some point, as a society we must stop showering praise and riches on people whose activities would have reaped much scorn in days gone by. Sure, we’re more “open-minded” and “progressive” today, and in this case, women wouldn’t be prostitutes if not for the John’s who bought their goods. But as this plays out, there is a political component that has yet to begin to unravel. You see, Ashley Alexandra “Kristen” Dupré helped bring down an obnoxious, arrogant, yet powerful Democrat.

Why Do Many Around The World Call US The Ugly Americans?

In my opinion we know simple envy and jealousy plays a large role in the dislike for America and it's citizens around the world , and I myself shudder when I hear activists on the left cry and moan endlessly about the plight of the so called American poor and how little the government does for these people, an out and out lie.

The poor in America would be considered among the better off in most of the world's poorest countries and this is clearly laid out in study after study containing similar findings like these below from the Heritage Foundation:

Either way, rich or poor, Americans are becoming fatter and fatter and looked upon as spoiled pigs around the world.

And when we see articles like the one below about citizens of Haiti having to resort to eating dirt adn the malnourished elsewhere around the world, those in America with their hands out constantly make me sick as at least they live in a country where the government foolishly rewards many with the redistribution of wealth for not working as often as it does for those who do work hard and long hours week after week after week until death do they part, ridiculously.

Charlene, 16 with a 1-month-old son, has come to rely on a traditional Haitian remedy for hunger pangs: cookies made of dried yellow dirt from the country's central plateau.

The mud has long been prized by pregnant women and children here as an antacid and source of calcium. But in places like Cite Soleil, the oceanside slum where Charlene shares a two-room house with her baby, five siblings and two unemployed parents, cookies made of dirt, salt and vegetable shortening have become a regular meal.

'When my mother does not cook anything, I have to eat them three times a day,' Charlene said. Her baby, named Woodson, lay still across her lap, looking even thinner than the slim 6 pounds 3 ounces he weighed at birth.
