Pro football Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor has been arrested on suspicion of rape in New York, CBS reported Thursday.

Taylor, 51, was arrested by Town of Ramapo police after being accused of raping a person in the Holidome Hotel in Montebello.

As one of the most feared linebackers in NFL history, Taylor helped lead the New York Giants to two Super Bowl victories.

He's also one of the most feared people out there who society never knows what they're capable of next, nor who the victim will be.... THIS TIME.

I loved LT as a football player, but as a man he's been questionable his entire career and afterwords, being busted for drugs not once but multiple times, and a known user as well he may find himself rotting in prison if he pulled this stunt.

As for my feelings on men like him, there's two things I as a man hate more than anything on earth, and that is rapists and child molesters.

They're Both animals and deserve death upon conviction...Period. No sympathy here.

HOWEVER.....women nowadays can't be trusted in these cases either, as we see false rape charges from prostitutes all the time, IE DUKE RAPE CASE...

If these often dumb (as we see from the headlines like Tiger and others) and sex craved animals would take up masturbation (not that I recommend it for anyone)  perhaps they wouldn't be out there raping women when they can't control their sexual urges. 

Maybe he, Ben Roethlisberger   and the other scum out there could spend some of that money they make and made (and I'm betting went through a LONG TIME AGO) and get themselves a  couple rubbers doll or something to hump on when they can't control it like some people's pets..

Which makes them what? Freaking Animals as far as I can tell.

The men I know can control these urges and don't go around raping prostitutes and other women, but there's others that can't. Never understood it.

I'm pulling for the Saints seeing they're 0 for History in the Super Bowl, having never reached the big game 'til today. They can use the win for the city

Also, a New Orleans win will finally hopefully shut the book on ALL the Katrina whining as far as I'm concerned. This is proof the city is back for the most part, and for that we're all glad, as can be as a Third World City doesn't make it to the NFL Super Bowl. 

Perhaps in many ways, aside from the death and suffering, Katrina was the best thing to happen to that city.

They can start anew in all facets, and proof of that is that their perpetually brutal football team is finally in the Super Bowl. It took the Chicago Bears, a charter NFL franchise almost a century aside from a couple "Championships" along the way, and they're only 1 for 2 in Super Bowls.

Their win in Super Bowl 20 by the way was in New Orleans, and I was there.

Proof anything can happen after what seems is the worst, and a reminder to be thankful for whatever we have at any given moment as fortunate Americans,  as things can  ALWAYS get worse than they are, especially outside the borders of this country.

AFC Champion Colts Dispatch Jets, Will It Be From Katrina to Miami Super Bowl For The Saints?

vNew Orleans is officially back now. From Katrina to Miami for their first ever Super Bowl as participants, not hosts. 

Quite a feat in the very place that so many used as the symbol of failure from Katrina, the Superdome.  (that just depends on who's inside of it I guess and under what circumstances) Congratulations to the team and the city.

The Vikings turned the ball over so many times I lost count, twice inside the Saint's 10 yard line so they earned the loss. However, they sure weren't done any favors by some questionable calls down the stretch some feel, including me..

That's a long way for a team that used to be led by a man named "Archie Manning" and were called the "Aints" because they sucked so badly, that being the Saints looking for their very first appearance in the SuperBowl.

I mean, they suck worse than the Chicago Bears over the years, and that's a record of futility hard to top! LOL

So it's starting to look like that's going to be the Super Bowl lineup unless Brett Favre and the Minnesota Vikings have anything to say in the game here Sunday night, starting in just minutes from now.

I myself was pulling for the New York Jets in the first game today against Indy to return to the Super Bowl  for the first time since being led by Broadway Joe Namath back in Super Bowl III in '69, (my favorite sports hero when I was a kid growing up in New York btw) when the Jets defeated the then "Baltimore" Colts 16-7.

 

But today they're the "Indianapolis" Colts, and no one can seem to stop this man Peyton Manning and his team when chips are down, as they kicked the Chicago Bears' asses in Super Bowl XLI, and now after their win today they're going back after deflating the hopes of the Jets  by winning 30-17 just minutes ago here on Sunday evening January 24th.

Now again it's the NFC Championship game between the 5:30 pm Saints and Vikings game here Sunday night, and I'm against the grain by going with the Vikings for one reason, and one reason only.

Viking's quarterback, grandpa Brett Favre, playing where he won his only super bowl today, the Superdome, where the Chicago Bears also won Super Bowl 20  46-10, but they're all at home watching this &*(%(*  on tv like the rest of us,  after their dismal season.

We'll see how they (Vikings) do later.

This is what I guess it means to be the very best. The closest I can remember to this in our present era is Joe Montana from the SanFran Freakshow 49ers of the 80's and Brett Favre of the entire 20th century....lol

Pretty much what I said before the game  ; ) Not as dumb as I sound  :)  Woo Wee, they beat the shittiest team in the NFL, just a notch or two below  them by the way.

Many of we Chicagoan's, particularly sports fans,  know "suck" when we see it, and this young team really sucked for the most part, not winning but one game on the road all season.... that is except for the mistake on the Potomac some missed November 2008 after many emphatic warnings to the contrary. But that's a horse of another color for another time (like tomorrow morning).

I think most NFL fans would concur that these two teams, near the very bottom of the NFL heap right now, have a long way to go to become part of the NFL elite, most of whom will be mostly coasting today to save their best for the upcoming playoffs.  A maneuver I've always looked upon as "gipping" the fans, who tune in or even worse actually "go to the events"  expecting  pro teams to always field their best players, even the last weekend of the season.

For the Bears it'll be no different, as they haven't been fielding their best players all year because their best defensive players have spent most of the year injured starting from the first game. That's when star linebacker Brian Urlacher was knocked from the roster for the year added to by a litany of others along the way, decimating the team and leaving them left with what we'll see today.

And if they like their head coach Lovie Dovie Smith they'll win today against the hapless Detroit Lions, although it's hard seeing the CheapAssed McCaskeys, who own the Bears, eat 11 million dollars they mistakenly paid this man after their freak super bowl appearance a few years back by firing him now, although we can at least dream for a while until the team announces anything otherwise.

So for the Bears and their fans it may be "wait 'til the year after next year " for any remarkable improvement instead of the usual Chicago "wait til next year" cry at the end of most pro sports seasons in this town since the Jordan Bulls days and da' days of " Da' Coach" himself..

I'd send Smith walking but then I never would have extended his first contract in the first place. Then again I don't own the Bears nor do the millions of others who pay through the teeth to see this team or any others in the league play in person even though we've seen many college teams better than  these two midwestern mopes over the years.

So don't hope for any miracles because they're not on the way after QB Jay Cutler turned out to be chopped liver instead of the "veal cutlet" we were sold on. They have no money left having wrapped it all up in those two in the picture above, Smith and Cutler.

Jets end Colts' pursuit of perfection 29-15 Aided By Boneheaded Colts Coaching Staff

Well no one's perfect.....Not this year..

They meant it.

Coach Jim Caldwell pulled Peyton Manning and a handful of other starters for the previously unbeaten Colts in the third quarter, and the Jets took advantage by rallying for a 29-15 victory that ended the NFL’s longest regular-season winning streak at 23 games.

Especially this man after some of the dumb decision making, as some would say pulling your starting quarterback in an undecided game in a near perfect season to save him for the next game is pretty fu****g stupid.

Especially in a game were the QB Manning passed the 50,000 yard passing mark the quickest in NFL history. What a way to celebrate, throwing a game that could have led to a perfect season.  This man rivals Bears coach Lovie Smith for boneheaded maneuvers on the way to a Super Bowl loss.

Caldwell's questionable decision leads to Colts' first loss of season

Indianapolis Colts coach Jim Caldwell has been saying for weeks that going undefeated was "a secondary goal" for his team. On Sunday he showed he meant it.

With his 14-0 Colts holding a five-point lead over the visiting New York Jets late in the third quarter, the first-year coach pulled Peyton Manning in favor of rookie Curtis Painter. It was the football equivalent of waving the white flag. New York would go on to score 19 unanswered points, thus handing Indianapolis its first loss of 2009.

In theory, the benching of Manning wasn't a surprise. Caldwell had foreshadowed such an event for weeks. But you always got the sense that if it was going to happen, the coach would have done so at halftime or when the Colts had a big lead or small deficit.

Final, Bears lose as usual and its wait til next year when hopefully management will have long launched coach Lovie Smith who blew 2 timeouts in the last 3 minutes of the game on an easily determinable instant replay where the Bears tight end Greg Olson clearly did not catch the ball...

So my new mantra for 2010 is " LAUNCH LOVIE AND DO IT NOW"

With the Bears season being a wash the only thing left to do now is to pray the Eagles don't make the playoffs and possible Super Bowl with dog killing felon Michael Vick riding the bench and hope the Bears can help ruin the chances of the other teams we hate in these parts with Green Bay and next week's opponent Vikings with old Green Bay QB Brett Favre who's having an NFL MVP mr comeback season up there topping the list.

So today we have the Pack on the menu and according to a Tribune poll this morning not too many Chicago Trib web readers have too much confidence in the Bears, who do suck pretty good this year costing me already $500 I layed down at the beginning of the season hoping for a longshot payoff of around 13 grand!

But the hapless Bears fell out of contention in the first half of the first game after Brian Urlacher's season ending wrist injury. So it's been a lean year on the betting front after winning around $3000 last season on miscellaneous Bears longshot bets, 1300 on one against the Colts and another on .
