Let Us Compare Tonight How Laker Fans Act After Championship to the Non Violent Hawks Win

LOS ANGELES – City officials are warning basketball fans to stay away from downtown unless they have tickets to Game 7 of the NBA finals between the Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics.

In an attempt to prevent the kind of unrest that broke out after the Lakers won last year's championship, police will deploy hundreds of officers around Staples Center and other parts of the city Thursday to deter anyone from spoiling a potential celebration should the Lakers seize their 16th national championship.

"Win or lose let's honor our hometown team for the amazing season they've given us and let's honor our city and our neighbors by respecting all our laws," Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa urged fans Wednesday.

Police Chief Charlie Beck said officers will set up a perimeter around Staples Center to let in only those with tickets to the game. Tactical units will stick around afterward to dissuade fans from congregating outside the arena.

Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca said he has notified hundreds of deputies to be on hand in case the police department needs backup.

We'll see how much 'their people' mind their 'leaders' words at the end of the night tonight. No one had to warn the Chicago fans to be mellow, and because why? You know why.

That is of course if they even win, which I hope they do not, just so the city doesn't have to clean up the all the usual 'blood and mess' since they have no fu**ing money to do it with in the first place.

Which is amazing when you consider the county and city of LA with all that 'concentrated wealth' that Hollywood has is totally out stripped and outgunned by all the deadbeat illegals and others who haven't worked a fucking day since birth in this country and don't contribute a damn thing to the betterment of America each and every day like the rest of us.

Freak Alert: 36 USA Swimming Coaches Molested Teen Athletes, Parents Start suing

If this is true I'm kind of ashamed to be an American and an Olympic supporter today,  thinking something like this could go on and on, yet, somehow someway some one, single adult couldn't put a stop to it? Not a one?

So they mean the whole entire adult structure there is a freak parade of up to 36 freaking molesters in one damn place, at an Olympic level swimming training facility?  I don't know on this one yet, sounds a little too sick even for today's collapsing society in many areas.

Beyond words on this one, a first for me, so put on the scum wader's boots to wade through this story running this afternoon happened across that I'm surprised it's not making bigger news, maybe everyone's ashamed to show it, who knows.

Families sue coaching authority for lax oversight: "(Newser) – USA Swimming has been rocked by the disclosure that 36 coaches have been banned for life for molesting teen athletes over the last 10 years, according to a suit brought by victims' families. Coaches secretly videotaped, fondled, and were otherwise indecent with their charges, court papers reveal. One coach in Indiana set up a camera in a 'special' shower room and secretly filmed his athletes while they bathed, ABC News reports.

In some cases, the itinerant coaching lifestyle allowed predators to stay one step ahead of authorities and victims' families. Another coach, who was sentenced to 40 years in prison last year for molesting over a dozen female teens, would switch towns after arousing suspicion. His 30 years of sexual predation highlight the ineffectiveness of background checks by USA Swimming, the sport's national governing body, which cleared him in 2008." continued

 What  a potential freak show this will be, I'm really so sickened by this and just hope and pray it's not true or at least inaccurate in some fashion. If not, we're really surrounded by a freak show today more than I've ever witnessed in my lifetime society wise, not personally. My family has fortunately been untouched by such sickness we read about all day everyday.

The initial and now resurgence of the Catholic priest situation,  which hurts coming from a Notre Dame grad dad catholic family, put a lot of time and effort into that stuff growing up and as an adult early on mostly, Olympic Swim coaches, Boy scout leaders, freakin elementary school teachers, no wonder the country is blowing a gasket man.

Kids are being stripped of their childhood in the womb and out of the womb right through adulthood from the very people they trust the most. Where are all these sick adults man, I've never met  a single one of these people and wish for once I'd be the one to get the opportunity to stop something like this and take a lifetime of anger out on a bank robber or a child molester, I think of it all the time. Haven't had the opportunity...yet.

IOC Investigating Canadian Women's Gold Medal Stogie & Brew Celebration

Michael Jordan and other USA basketball dream teamer's did the same things,  although not so "in your face" as Jordan and the Bulls frequently lighted cigars during their championship celebrations outdoors and indoors and it's supposed to be illegal at the UC....and I know as a devout fan during the Jordan era.

But it's an age old tradition in sports to smoke a victory cigar..PC out of control. Is every damn tradition under attack nowadays, everything everywhere.

No one said "Jack". Again it wasn't on the court and yes, they're supposed to be ladies and for some reason ladies can smoke cigarettes but not cigars without causing a stir even at a bar much less on worldwide TV, and yes the kids are watching this and that's the biggest thing.

And they also chugged a couple beers I guess.... dumb yes, the end of the Olympics? No.

McGwire's Problems Just Quadrupled After Finally Admitting What We All Knew....

Actually he wont face perjury charges because he wouldn't admit to doing anything and said pretty much nothing, almost taking the 5th so he's alright as far as his appearance before the senate but his name is mud and he should sadly be precluded from the hall of fame if Shoeless Joe Jackson was and if Pete Rose is still kept out of it's halls.

Perhaps with all the players in pro sports who have run afoul of the law and  or the rules of their  individual sports they can just start a brand new wing and call it "The Hall Of Shame". He actually is not guilty of any crime other than being a deceitful liar.

On second thought, maybe two wings, alright, It would have to be a high rise for far too many of the present day pro athletes although they've probably been like this forever, that doesn't make it all right.

What really sucks about this the most is how the vaunted records of Hank Aaron and Roger Maris and of course Babe Ruth have fallen to a black and white bookends of drug addicts.n  That being this ahole and the other one Barry Big Head Bonds.

Isn't that nice? Another story to tell the young children as to why these people shouldn't be treated any different than anyone else because others are foolish enough to pay them millions of dollars to be nothing more than scumbag drug addicts.

I'd rather watch a local softball game than put my money in the pockets of many of the pro athletes today. The problem is when you buy tickets to the events you can't just pay the players who abide by the rules and play the games unaided by drugs.

Here's the time he spent in front of congress, and knowing what's been confirmed today, this man should never be believed about anything he has to say about this or anything else, as he's obviously quite comfortable leading a life of deceit for monetary gain and fame until now.

Both he and Roid partner Barry Bonds should be excommunicated from the record books and the three men listed at the top should have their records restored and Maris's with a new asterisk saying that the man who broke the record later on was a lying, juiced up, roid addict.

I feel sorry for his son particularly.

NBA Players Reportedly Drew Guns in Christmas Eve Argument - 1

This is why I refuse to watch the NBA anymore.

2 millioniare "brutha's" pull guns on each other OVCER A GAMBLING DEBT in the locker room and all I can say is too bad they didn't kill each others, we'd have 2 less gansta's to worry about.

Gilbert Arenas, 27, went for his gun first, the Post reported, citing unnamed inside sources. His teammate Javaris Crittenton, 22, allegedly brandished a firearm as well.

It was unclear whether other teammates saw the standoff inside the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C., the Post reported.

The Wizards announced on Christmas Day that Arenas had admitted to bringing guns to the locker room and had turned them over to team security. The NBA club's statement didn't disclose how Wizards officials discovered that Arenas was storing weapons on the job."

Jets end Colts' pursuit of perfection 29-15 Aided By Boneheaded Colts Coaching Staff

Well no one's perfect.....Not this year..

INDIANAPOLIS (AP)—The Indianapolis Colts kept saying a perfect season didn’t matter.

With Manning on the sideline, helmet on and standing next to his offensive coordinator, the Colts (14-1) lost for the first time since Oct. 27, 2008, at Tennessee, ending a franchise-record 13-game winning streak at home.

Especially this man after some of the dumb decision making, as some would say pulling your starting quarterback in an undecided game in a near perfect season to save him for the next game is pretty fu****g stupid.

Especially in a game were the QB Manning passed the 50,000 yard passing mark the quickest in NFL history. What a way to celebrate, throwing a game that could have led to a perfect season.  This man rivals Bears coach Lovie Smith for boneheaded maneuvers on the way to a Super Bowl loss.

Caldwell's questionable decision leads to Colts' first loss of season

Indianapolis Colts coach Jim Caldwell has been saying for weeks that going undefeated was "a secondary goal" for his team. On Sunday he showed he meant it.

With his 14-0 Colts holding a five-point lead over the visiting New York Jets late in the third quarter, the first-year coach pulled Peyton Manning in favor of rookie Curtis Painter. It was the football equivalent of waving the white flag. New York would go on to score 19 unanswered points, thus handing Indianapolis its first loss of 2009.

In theory, the benching of Manning wasn't a surprise. Caldwell had foreshadowed such an event for weeks. But you always got the sense that if it was going to happen, the coach would have done so at halftime or when the Colts had a big lead or small deficit.
