Awesome......great game worth catching, hope you Hawks fans caught it tonight

Chicago Breaking Sports: "In the eyes of many, this wasn't even supposed to be a series. The Blackhawks were perceived to simply be that much better than the upstart Predators, who were a tiny speed bump to roll over en route to a coronation.
Then, on Sunday night, the Hawks actually began to act according to those assessments.
The Hawks were just better than the Predators in Game 2 at the United Center in just about every facet, and as a result they notched a 2-0 victory and evened this Western Conference quarterfinal series at one game apiece.

The Predators still have the split they no doubt would have settled for before the trip to Chicago, but the Hawks at least backed away from the precipice to oblivion. They did so thanks to Dave Bolland's power-play goal midway through the second period that opened the scoring, followed by a third-period blast from Patrick Kane that offered some breathing room.
Game 3 is set for Tuesday night in Nashville."

vNew Orleans is officially back now. From Katrina to Miami for their first ever Super Bowl as participants, not hosts.
Quite a feat in the very place that so many used as the symbol of failure from Katrina, the Superdome. (that just depends on who's inside of it I guess and under what circumstances) Congratulations to the team and the city.
Original Post below.....
That's a long way for a team that used to be led by a man named "Archie Manning" and were called the "Aints" because they sucked so badly, that being the Saints looking for their very first appearance in the SuperBowl.
I mean, they suck worse than the Chicago Bears over the years, and that's a record of futility hard to top! LOL
So it's starting to look like that's going to be the Super Bowl lineup unless Brett Favre and the Minnesota Vikings have anything to say in the game here Sunday night, starting in just minutes from now.
I myself was pulling for the New York Jets in the first game today against Indy to return to the Super Bowl for the first time since being led by Broadway Joe Namath back in Super Bowl III in '69, (my favorite sports hero when I was a kid growing up in New York btw) when the Jets defeated the then "Baltimore" Colts 16-7.
Now again it's the NFC Championship game between the 5:30 pm Saints and Vikings game here Sunday night, and I'm against the grain by going with the Vikings for one reason, and one reason only.
Viking's quarterback, grandpa Brett Favre, playing where he won his only super bowl today, the Superdome, where the Chicago Bears also won Super Bowl 20 46-10, but they're all at home watching this &*(%(* on tv like the rest of us, after their dismal season.
We'll see how they (Vikings) do later.

This is why I refuse to watch the NBA anymore.
2 millioniare "brutha's" pull guns on each other OVCER A GAMBLING DEBT in the locker room and all I can say is too bad they didn't kill each others, we'd have 2 less gansta's to worry about.
FOXNews.com: "An NBA all-star and his Washington Wizards teammate reportedly drew guns on each other in the team's locker room during a Christmas Eve fight over a gambling debt, the New York Post reports.
Gilbert Arenas, 27, went for his gun first, the Post reported, citing unnamed inside sources. His teammate Javaris Crittenton, 22, allegedly brandished a firearm as well.
It was unclear whether other teammates saw the standoff inside the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C., the Post reported.
The Wizards announced on Christmas Day that Arenas had admitted to bringing guns to the locker room and had turned them over to team security. The NBA club's statement didn't disclose how Wizards officials discovered that Arenas was storing weapons on the job."
Well, you can take some out of the ghetto but millions can't clean the ghetto out of the NBA. read more at the new york post

Final, Bears lose as usual and its wait til next year when hopefully management will have long launched coach Lovie Smith who blew 2 timeouts in the last 3 minutes of the game on an easily determinable instant replay where the Bears tight end Greg Olson clearly did not catch the ball...
So my new mantra for 2010 is " LAUNCH LOVIE AND DO IT NOW"
In other scores:
The Saints beat Atlanta by 3 points to remain undefeated and will be home throughout their stint in the playoffs which could go all the way to the Super Bowl..Imagine that.
Must be Bush's fault that NOLA is doing so well, the team at least.. Oh but Obama's spent an entire 15 minutes in NOLA since the election. He really cares a lot about those people HAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHHA

With the Bears season being a wash the only thing left to do now is to pray the Eagles don't make the playoffs and possible Super Bowl with dog killing felon Michael Vick riding the bench and hope the Bears can help ruin the chances of the other teams we hate in these parts with Green Bay and next week's opponent Vikings with old Green Bay QB Brett Favre who's having an NFL MVP mr comeback season up there topping the list.
So today we have the Pack on the menu and according to a Tribune poll this morning not too many Chicago Trib web readers have too much confidence in the Bears, who do suck pretty good this year costing me already $500 I layed down at the beginning of the season hoping for a longshot payoff of around 13 grand!
But the hapless Bears fell out of contention in the first half of the first game after Brian Urlacher's season ending wrist injury. So it's been a lean year on the betting front after winning around $3000 last season on miscellaneous Bears longshot bets, 1300 on one against the Colts and another on .
The games to watch
Denver Vs Undefeated Indianapolis Colts (PickDenver)
Bears and Packers (Pick Bears even though they suck because I and a blog friend from Wisconsin have a little wager goin on for the game, and the loser will donate $20 to our favorite charity, which anyone can do anytim e by clicking here or the "Marines Toy's for Tot's Banner" I made for them which is clearly visible right at the top of the blog
So, brother and sisters if you can spare a dime they sure would appreciate it, especially in the Age of Obama, as he and his Neo Marxist band of merry men rob the middle class to give to the poor as he and they bankrupt the country for 5 generations

Bears Packers High Noon Showdown Last of The Season

Now that the Chicago Bears are done for all intents and purposes this year, we hate to hope for more losses to move higher in the draft, and won't do that . But, we will turn our attention to the red hot Blackhawks and the better teams this year for the remainder of the season, and there are no shortage of great teams this year to follow through to the Super Bowl...
However for those of us pulling for the Bears we know this year for Chicago it'll be the freaking toilet bowl if anything.
For the rest of the teams that actually matter here on out, these are the games to watch and full links to every game and updates at NFL FOX....
In the early game today it's Vince Young's Tennessee Titans vs. the 11-0 Indianapolis Colts. Awesome game no doubt, will this be the last week for the "undefeated"?
Later the Cowboys try to KO the Giants before Vikings-Cards tonight and Ravens-Packers on Monday.
This is former Bear QB Erik Kramer sizing up the action throughout the league today for FOX Sports
With these links if the game hasn't started then they will point to last week's game so it's the right place,
The games haven't started therefore no live real time stats.....
Today Michael Vick, felonious dog killing QB, will return to the scene of the crime in Atlanta...
