Here's one of my first posts and observations on a then potential Obama presidency in Feb 07/ I'm no prophet believe you me..... it was all common sense far too many today simply 'lack',
George Mason explained, “(T)o disarm the people (is) the best and most effectual way to enslave them.” Noah Webster elaborated: “Before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed

Dear Mother, on this special day, There are some things I want to say.
I thank you, first, for being You. You've encouraged me my whole life through.
You have my love, I hope you know, Although not always does it show.
I use this simple means today To send such special love your way.
Mother of mine, I love you so! You mean more to me than you'll ever know.
I wish I could make your dreams come true, For no one deserves it more than you.
But since I can't, then all I'll say, Is that I wish you a Great Mother's Day!
You raised me well, my Mother dear. You wiped away my every tear.
You always seemed to have a smile To help me go that extra mile.
Thank you, Mother, for being there, Right by my side, no matter where.
I give to you my heartfelt loveAnd wish you blessings from above.

Unfortunately I lost my beautiful and most beloved mother Joyce almost 3 years ago on November 29, 2007, which happened sadly enough to be my 42nd birthday, after she suffered the final 2 years of her life with severe and painful gastrointestinal deterioration.
Resulting in 3 colon operations and roughly a million dollars worth of health care and bills that wasn't enough to save her I regretfully share.
With all the miserable complaining going on in this country today about lack of free health care, and empty promises of cures and such from hucksters like Barack Obama and Arlen Specter, hers wasn't free even with health insurance that cost some $350 a month being retired at 58.
This was us on my college graduation day in 1988.
Anyhow, she, my younger married brother, father and myself spent countless wonderful moments and times together over 42 years that I will always cherish and greatly miss every single day of my life forward. Fortunately, she had a wonderfully full and completely healthy life until those final years as the best mom anyone could ever wish for, but a wonderful life that still ended far too soon at age 62.
So today isn't exactly my favorite day of the year any more, yet that won't stop me from wishing a Happy Mother's Day to those of you out there who are lucky enough to be still spending and sharing life and times with your mothers today and the other days, which I am doing here to you all with this little post.
However I do offer those good wishes with one caveat for all, which is sage advice to value and cherish these and all the other normal days to their fullest, as you never know when a day comes that you may wake up and they will all come to an unexpected sad end, and you surely don't want to regret not having enjoyed them all to their fullest while you and she are still here together to be loved and appreciated.
Have a great day
Happy Mother's Day All !

Christ is risen from the dead! Dying, he conquered death; To the dead, he has given life. 490
"HE DESCENDED INTO HELL. ON THE THIRD DAY HE ROSE AGAIN"
ARTICLE 5 Paragraph 2. On the Third Day He Rose from the Dead638 "We bring you the good news that what God promised to the fathers, this day he has fulfilled to us their children by raising Jesus."489 The Resurrection of Jesus is the crowning truth of our faith in Christ, a faith believed and lived as the central truth by the first Christian community; handed on as fundamental by Tradition; established by the documents of the New Testament; and preached as an essential part of the Paschal mystery along with the cross:
Today culminates a week of Holy Week, observances also known as Passion Week, as for Christians it of coarse retraces the tragic events of the week leading to Jesus’ death and sacrifice
On Palm Sunday, we commemorated Jesus’ entrance into Jerusalem, on Monday and Tuesday, Jesus overturned the money-changers’ tables at the temple and then he predicted the destruction of Herod’s temple
Then on Thursday or last night was the Last Supper, where he told his devoted followers that one of them would betray him, and then the following morning Jesus was arrested first thing of dawn, then crucified at noon and died by 3 p.m.
He was then placed in a borrowed tomb by 6 p.m., because the Jewish Sabbath began at that time.
The climax of the observances occurs on Easter Sunday, as Christians celebrate Jesus’ resurrection around the world.
Lets also join in to wishing our Jewish brethren as they also celebrate holy week with observance of Passover which began at sundown Wednesday night and continues for seven days although devout Orthodox celebrate for eight if I am correct...
Have a great Easter Weekend all
Father, please continue to bless these great United States in these trying times of the deceit and deception being purveyed on the gullible masses, who may mean well but are misguided and dangerously misinformed.
Please Forgive Them, For They Know Not What They Do
Prayers To All Observing Good Friday

Although 90% of today's Americans under the age of 28 probably think St pats day is a day to get sloppily drunk and act like asses, there's extensive history behind the St named Patrick and his day, and this Fox report covers it pretty well.
1. The potato crop was traditionally planted in Ireland after March 17
2. Blue not green is the color originally associated with St Patrick. “St Patrick’s Blue” is used on Ireland's Presidential Standard or flag, while the Irish Guards sport a plume of St Patrick’s blue in their bearskins. The emphasis on green is thought to be linked to “wearing the Green”, a symbol from the 18th century on, of sympathy with Irish independence.
3. St Patrick is patron of fishermen in the Loire, where a legend associates him with a blackthorn bush. The saint is said to have slept beneath it, and when he awoke the next day, Christmas, the bush flowered, and was said to have continued to do so every Christmas until its destruction during the First World War.
click below the video to open all 10 if you wish 4. A regiment of the Mexican army in the 1846 -8 War between Mexico and America was named after St Patrick. Members of the Batellón de San Patricio included Afro-Americans freshly liberated from the slave plantations of the South, and the soldiers were granted Mexican citizenship afterwards.\
5. The first St Patrick’s Day parade took place in 1737 in Boston, followed in 1762 by New York. George Washington allowed his soldiers a holiday on March 17, 1780 as “an act of solidarity with the Irish in their fight for independence.”
6. Until the 1970’s, all pubs were shut in Ireland on St Patrick’s Day, and the sole venue selling drink the annual dog show. Lenten fasting – and the obligation to abstain from meat – were lifted on the day, which most families would begin with Mass.
7. St Patrick’s Day is a public holiday in Ireland and also in Monserrat "the Emerald Isle of the Caribbean,” so called because it was settled in 1633 by Irish migrants from St Kitts.
8. According to legend, on the day of Judgment, while Christ judges all other nations, St Patrick will be the judge of the Irish.
9. Since 1962, tons of green dye are tipped on St Patrick’s Day into the Chicago river, although the quantity has reduced, for environmental reasons, from 100 to 40.
10. Should you wish to carry on celebrating St Patrick after March 17, in the United States, you might visit the four Shamrocks in the USA including Mount Gay-Shamrock, W.Va or the nine cities named Dublin, including Dublin, Ohio (the largest Dublin in the U.S.) and Dublin, Georgia.
Now on the lighter side, this I thought was funny, simple but funny.
Happy St Patricks Day

A little off topic but this turned out to be a nice 2 weekend 10 day vaca for the US government huh? Thanks to being off all last week for snow, and two weekends plus today, holy productivity Batman.....are we being billed for this shit or what?|
Well today at least let's we celebrate when presidents were great.
Enjoy the holiday, as next year there will probably be a movement to change the day to Obama day, Allah be with him.
Anyhow, this op ed was good, with some information I didn't know check it out ;)
CSMonitor.com: "America's literary strong suit has always been humor. It's when they reach for rectitude that Americans become comic. Take holidays. In February we try to honor our presidents, but we can't figure out which ones we pay tribute to or even how to spell the holiday.
Is it Presidents Day or President's Day or Presidents' Day?
Life used to be simpler. George Washington, the father of our country, was celebrated on his birthday, Feb. 22. But society has all but erased the accomplishments of the most dynamic figure to ever walk on the American stage. Beginning in 1971, we spinelessly designated the third Monday in February as Presidents' Day.
A perfect fit for auto dealers!
One school of thought holds that Presidents' Day now honors both Washington and Abraham Lincoln. Horsefeathers! It would seem the celebrations of our two greatest presidents are now dictated by auto dealers and department stores that lobbied for one super February holiday to boost mid-winter sales. One senses a case of commerce driving history and holidays, the result being that neither of our greatest president's birthdays is celebrated on the dates they were born (Lincoln was born on Feb. 12).
In the 1960s, '70s, and '80s, there were also attempts to celebrate and consolidate Presidents' Day into a kind of American political stew pot with regional variations. In Massachusetts, the day honors occupants of the White House who hailed from there: John Adams, John Quincy Adams, Calvin Coolidge, and John Kennedy.
In Virginia there is no Presidents' Day. It's legally only George Washington's birthday.
In Alabama, Presidents' Day honors George Washington and Thomas Jefferson. But it does have a second faux president's day: Jefferson Davis's birthday on June 3. Davis was president of the Confederate States of America and is best remembered for advocating the violent overthrow of the Constitution of the United States.
If you're not already persuaded that lumping together holidays is a bad idea, consider March 8. It's International Women's Day, National Nasty Day, and my wife's birthday. My wife was only mildly amused at the coincidence."continued

"Bill Murray, while backstage in the Joy Behar Show green room, explains why Groundhog Day is his favorite holiday." Don't worry, you don't have to suffer through Joy Behar in the clip.
Well today's the day, as long as Punxatawny Phil doesn't have a heart attack which would drive the PETA people over the edge it's another Feb 2nd in the books today.

Wishing you all the Joy, Hope, and wonder of Christmas All Year Long!
Here are some interesting family friendly links and stuff to share some laughs and happy moments with you all, my friends on the internet as well as in life, as we come to the end of a long year spent fighting for what we believe to be the right path for this Christian-Judeo country we love so much which has been turned upon it's head in 2009.
One that was built by founders who all believed in the miracle of Christ ,and in celebrating his immaculate conception on this day 2009 years ago just as we are doing this evening and tomorrow hopefully with all our friends and loved ones.
And while doing that let us not forget those brave and selfless men and women who are stationed around the world on our behalf fighting mostly for truth, justice, freedom and the American way of life, who cannot be with their loved ones today and tomorrow as most of us will be in the coming days, thanks to the lord above and them doing his work down here.
So please join me in letting them know we love them and greatly appreciate what they do, and all they do in our name on this day of peace, love, and joy round the world minus Allah land of course.
My favorite rock and roll Christmas song as I shelved Bruce
Springsteen and his Santa Claus is coming to town since his loony lib activism is
too, too much for me, thank you.
This guy's been making good video's all year and it's been a good year for him on the internet giving his perspective on the ObamaNation and this is his Christmas rant which I enjoyed and saw first this evening at dear Kate's An OldBroad's Ramblings

This is funny which I found in the local NBC 5 website, where a man lives next to a Christmas light geek (meant in a good way) and he just can't or won't compete so he came up with this solution

I sincerely hope and pray all Americans today, be us liberal, conservative or otherwise can set aside our differences and celebrate thanks for all the wonderful things we Americans have been blessed with as a country, as well as pray for those many people among us that are sick and less fortunate or prosperous than we would like to see for one and all of our brothers and sisters around the land and globe for the most part
The first Thanksgiving was actually a harvest festival after a deadly year of 1620 claimed much of the Pilgrim community and took place in 1621 in Plymouth Mass, that's 389 Thanksgivings ago and hopefully many more yet to come for this great land we have been blessed with, while although waters today are quite choppy, good will prevail.
While celebrating our excessive bounty here in America, we also need to extend our deepest prayers for all those fine men and women around the world fighting for and protecting our freedoms in the US Armed Forces, many of whom during this wartime are sadly separated from their families today and every day for that matter.
All sacrifices made on their behalf so we can be amongst our loved ones on this day and every other, safe and sound from our enemies near and far who wish us harm.
This video harks back
to the great year of "Back to the Future," good old 1985,
back when a Great American man
was president, the entire world stood up and took notice and American's were
proud and loud to be AMERICANS...No Regrets
So again, finally in closing....
I pray God may continue to bless these Great United States of America and all of us legally within it, along with our beloved United States Armed Forces and their families today and everyday while their days and nights are spent protecting truth, justice and the American way our founders and forefathers kindly built and left behind for us to enjoy and protect. All in order to pass down to the next generations.
Let us not fail them and today we celebrate and tomorrow it's back to work helping to save the country from where it's rapidly headed, over the waterfalls of the abyss if we're not careful..
Happy Thanksgiving America

I love animals, and also, like most human beings, enjoy eating certain varieties of them from time to time, particularly turkeys on Thanksgiving as do most Americans and others on their holidays whatever they may be (minus the Muslims in most cases)
And nowadays even all year long where it used to be not so frequent as I was growing up, especially now that so many self appointed "health, PC and environmental" police out there (stress the "mental" part) consider beef to be both unhealthy and inhumane not to mention "carbon consuming and emitting "to feast on nowadays in the "Enlightening Age of Obama" ... lolol.. give us a break huh?.....
This I found on CNN along with another beauty below this post you'll see, and also found to be just a tad hypocritical, as they come to the aid of this particular turkey because he's, get this now, disabled and facing death from the disease which ails it....
forgiving me for not being entirely heart broken, but I think we've allowed this culture of PC to be brought to ridiculous heights and this proves it. These people will ALL be eating Turkey on Thanksgiving, so why not this one too?
Typical feelgood liberal hypocricy....
"what's ok for me is not for thee" even when it comes to Turkeys, the animal ones not the human variety.....
Today November 11th is the true & official date of the remembrance to our Veterans of the US Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and US Coast Guard. giving universal recognition to the celebrated ending of World War I fighting at 11 a.m., November 11, 1918 (the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month). The day became known as “Armistice Day.” officially receiving its name in America in 1926 through a Congressional resolution.
It became a national holiday 12 years later by similar Congressional action. If the idealistic hope had been realized that World War I was “the War to end all wars,” November 11 might still be called Armistice Day. But only a few years after the holiday was proclaimed, war broke out in Europe. Sixteen and one-half million Americans took part. Four hundred seven thousand of them died in service, more than 292,000 in battle.
Both days where most good Americans will salute you all for your unselfish and gallant service to our country throughout our great history today and on through tomorrow. We as a nation on Veterans Day (and hopefully every day for that matter) remember all the sacrifices of the 25 million plus military veterans and their families and demonstrate every year our unwavering support and undying gratitude for all their sacrifices and dedicated unwavering service to our faltering but still great country.

SO on this day and every day, May our God Bless these great United States of America and the men and women who serve and protect her .....may they be remembered in all our prayers, and once again,
Thanks to one and all both here and gone forever for all they do and for their / your dedication and honorable service
Two other military related notes for today is that General George Patton , one of the greatest Military men in world history was born on this day in 1885
Check out this page at Military.com listing all the celebrities then and Now who've served our country.
there's some surprises like Ice T perhaps and MC Hammer is another of obviously tens of 1000's over the years.
Of course let's not forget what happened last Thursday and not to make light of it on this day of all with a cartoon, but I believe this one is somewhat apropos and I'm posting it...

Why do mummies have trouble keeping friends?
They're so wrapped up in themselves...lol
Those of you tugging kids around the neighborhoods today be careful and try to have some fun...just one friendly warning I'd like to offer you all........try to .stay away from those Obama supporter's homes (if they're not empty from foreclosures that is)......Why you ask?
They'll be asking you and YOUR KIDS for candy instead of the other way around ....seeing they enjoy handouts from others so much it appears since January..That's why....lol
And one more thing......Lord knows don't let em ask your kids for a trick either.!!!...
who knows what the hell that might encompass nowadays with that crowd, play it safe.......
Now something to lift your spirits ..pun intended.......I normally don't post these Newsbuster's Videos, as most catch them elsewhere but this one is both funny and Halloween related, so I'm posting it this time...
"In this episode, “NewsBusted” covers: President Obama, Halloween, Media Research Center Staff, Illegal Alien Costume, Republican National Committee, White House Payoffs, ObamaCare, Safe School Czar, Iranian Foreign Minister Mottaki, Ambulance Fees, and Michael Moore"
Have a great day everyone if Halloween is your thing,...I'll be scaring the kids away with one of these pics of San Fran Nan Pelosi without her makeup and before her 20 facelifts in my window .....which should keep em away long enough to catch some football games today.....lolol
This one is even more scarier if that can even be achieved with this woman ....
President Obama’s Halloween Costume?... Newsbusted Video, etc

Interesting that just this week this rare copy of the Declaration was uncovered in Britain as the forefathers likely sent off this copy to the King and his people letting the British know their days of ruling this new country were over.
It's also strange that just when we celebrate the Independence of a nation we are also witnessing it's biggest leap towards cradle to grave dependence in our entire history, other than the giant leap taken by Hussein Obama's role model FDR himself, and his what's turned out to be mostly disastrous New Deal that brought Americans their first taste of entitlements..ones like welfare and Social Security that since their inception could never be properly funded and still cannot today.
In fact today in the day of Maddoff SSA is better known as a very complicated Ponzi scheme that our politicians use as a piggy bank whenever the hell they feel like raiding it
So again Happy Independence Day to all, and lets keep working against this liberal, Socialist Nanny State direction Obama's taking this country in, as it will be the ruin of an independent nation, turning it into one filled with dependent weaklings possessing no ambition, deadbeats stumbling from handout line to food line, taking us one step closer to third world status .
Which I would certainly hope we are all against, seeing we've been given a real good taste of it since our borders have been wide open like a sieve to illegal aliens of all nationalities and backgrounds for better and mostly for the worst over the past three decades.
And lets NEVER forget to thank the very people who make this independence possible by keeping watch over the homeland and kicking the asses of evildoers all around the world wherever they are found, which today means the Middle East and nowhere else.
God please continue to bless this exceptional country, our proud military and today a very Happy Birthday America!
COOL VIDEO HERE Go Daddy which was founded of coarse by a pretty cool guy named Bob Parsons who is also a proud Vietnam Vet shows the patriotism runs through his kick ass, All American, Internet company with an All American Tribute to our nation's birthday that you can see here
You won't find anything like that from the liberals at GOOGLE, that's for DAMN SURE. Although I do have to give them some credit for at least acknowledging the holiday with a special logo as well which is a surprise since they refuse to nod to Veterans Day and Memorial Days
Some links around the internet including the story of the recently found copy of the Declaration pictured above,
