When Muslim Animals Attack- Afghan medical mission ends in death for 10

I feel bad that these people time and time again who dedicate their lives to helping others end up dead and slaughtered like pigs, which these Muslim animals think all infidels are by the way, that means you and me as well.

BUT, how long can you continue to feel bad for people tricked (or whatever the case may be) into helping these people again and again, and yet end up killed time and time again, helping these very same Muslims they/we are there to help?

We all know this by now, this Religion of Peace bullshit is exactly that, bullshit. So if and when people sadly 'doing God's work' are being killed while doing it,  I don't think that's what the good Lord would want.

SO,  when the west is going to wake up and realize we must EITHER eliminate Islam before it eliminates us (which should be another thing 'first and foremost' on our minds when we elect a replacement congress in the fall) or more Americans along with our allies will die needlessly when we have the capability to END THESE PEOPLE.

How much more blood and treasure will we continue to waste for a war that can be won with one or two nukes detonated on the poppy fields, rendering them 'unfarmable' for 1000 years, to then be done with the whole war and region for that matter in one fell swoop with two B2 bomber missions?

They're gonna do it to us sooner or later, so choose whether you wish your children and grandchildren to live in peace, or  leave them to deal with these animals day in and out like we've had to do. 

My preference? End them.

They obviously cannot be tamed, so they must be defeated and decimated from history, or we'll be the ones decimated.

Either they die or they drag us down in Martyrdom death right with them.... which one is it gonna be?

Bodies of 8 Medical Workers Gunned Down by Taliban Returned to Kabul, U.S. Embassy Says

Afghan medical mission ends in death for 10: "KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) - They hiked for more than 10 hours over rugged mountains - unarmed and without security - to bring medical care to isolated Afghan villagers until their humanitarian mission took a tragic turn.

Ten members of the Christian medical team - six Americans, two Afghans, one German and a Briton - were gunned down in a gruesome slaughter that the Taliban said they carried out, alleging the volunteers were spying and trying to convert Muslims to Christianity. The gunmen spared an Afghan driver, who recited verses from the Islamic holy book Quran as he begged for his life.

Team members - doctors, nurses and logistics personnel - were attacked as they were returning to Kabul after their two-week mission in the remote Parun valley of Nuristan province about 160 miles (260 kilometers) north of Kabul. They had decided to veer northward into Badakhshan province because they thought that would be the safest route back to Kabul, said Dirk Frans, director of the International Assistance Mission, which organized the team.

The bullet-riddled bodies - including three women - were found Friday near three four-wheeled drive vehicles in a wooded area just off the main road that snakes through a narrow valley in the Kuran Wa Munjan district of Badakhshan, provincial police chief Gen. Agha Noor Kemtuz told The Associated Press.

One of the dead Americans had spent about 30 years in Afghanistan, rearing three daughters and surviving both the Soviet invasion and bloody civil war of the 1990s that destroyed much of Kabul.

Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid told the AP that they killed the foreigners because they were 'spying for the Americans' and 'preaching Christianity.' In a Pashto language statement acquired by the AP, the Taliban also said the team was carrying Dari language bibles and 'spying gadgets.'

Frans said the International Assistance Mission, or IAM, one of the longest serving non-governmental organizations operating in Afghanistan, is registered as a nonprofit Christian organization but does not proselytize. My Way News -

Prayers To All Observing Good Friday

Today culminates a week of Holy Week, observances also known as Passion Week, as for Christians it of coarse retraces the tragic events of the week leading to Jesus’ death and sacrifice

On Palm Sunday, we commemorated Jesus’ entrance into Jerusalem, on Monday and Tuesday, Jesus overturned the money-changers’ tables at the temple and then he predicted the destruction of Herod’s temple

Then on Thursday or last night was the Last Supper, where he told his devoted followers that one of them would betray him, and then the following morning Jesus was arrested first thing of dawn, then crucified at noon and died by 3 p.m.

He was then placed in a borrowed tomb by 6 p.m., because the Jewish Sabbath began at that time.

The climax of the observances occurs on Easter Sunday, as Christians celebrate Jesus’ resurrection around the world.

Lets also join in to wishing our Jewish brethren as they also celebrate holy week with observance of Passover which began at sundown Wednesday night and continues for seven days although devout Orthodox celebrate for eight if I am correct...

Anti Religious Libs, What Say You? "Barack Obama invokes Jesus more than George W. Bush"

I'm sorry, I can't hear anything, as the silence is deafening since we all know far to well as bloggers that the left wing attacks upon George Bush for his proudly worn Christian reformation from his more rambunctious youth were never ending, and will continue until this generation is dead and buried.

Even though Obama routinely used religion both during and now after his campaign, except for the fact that then he was a proud and devoted church going Christian as this campaign piece exploited to the hilt...

And to complicate matters for the liberals now comes word that Obama actually invokes religion and Jesus Christ in particular more than George Bush ever did according to a Politico headline this morning, and Obama's only six months into his already failing presidency. One would expect were liberals intellectually honest they would heap the same hatred upon Obama for taking his morning briefings with Allah, Jesus or whoever it is that fits that particular day's agenda .

Just as they did when President Bush admitted he often looked to the Lord for guidance when making the tough decisions he faced, like going into Afghanistan and Iraq after September 11th, which they mocked endlessly. Take this quote from Politico's article here

That of coarse took place weeks after being caught on camera bowing to Saudi King Abdullah that was never fully explained nor even addressed by him we've all seem a million times, all after two solid years of denouncing his Muslim roots for those easily swayed and uninformed voters amongst us, while also loudly retiring his formal middle name of Hussein out of political expediency, seeing it as the liability is was and still is, with he and his followers attacking those like myself, radio host Bill Cunningham and thousands of others who use it as Islamophobes.

However, he then miraculously finds the nearest phone booth, and right before our eyes transforms into "Christian man"... like come to life, fictitious religious super hero, as he did while dusting off a few biblical favorites mixed in with a few of Islam's least violent passages at Point DuHoc for the D Day commemoration and also for his highly controversial appearance at the 2009 commencement ceremony at Notre Dame where he once again becomes "Christian Man."

When he does change religious capes he then favors that both strange and unique, hate filled Trinity United Version known as the "God Damn America Christianity" denomination, which comes from a somewhat questionable conversion that was initially done without a formal baptism of any sort, as 99.999% of true Christians reborn or otherwise receive, be it at birth like myself or at the time of their particular conversion from whatever religion of whence they came, if any.


But not Barack Hussein Obama, International Religious Man of Mystery. Is he a Muslim, or is he a Christian, no one really seams to know and neither does he as any normally devoted person devoted to either faith would say he' s trying to be both.

Yet another murky area of Obama's background of which there is no record to refer in order to actually back up all these important assertions, which is most likely due to the fact that it, like his AWOL long form birth certificate, simply doesn't exist and never did. Facts that frankly, a less derelict mass media should have established during the election cycle's normal vetting process, one that was ignored during the ridiculous Obamamania of 2008 that has now turned into this after the fact Pandora's box of feigned surprises..

Prayers Answered US sea captain freedAmerican Christians 1, Allah's Muslim's, A Big Fat ZERO-

Thank goodness America's prayers were answered as this brave man who triumphed all on his own against these evil and Miserable Muslims after chis first courageous act giving himself up for his people at the onset of this crisis just as Jesus Christ did 2009 years ago shows that miracles can and do indeed happen today and not one dime payed to the the Filthy Agents of evil to set him free.

US sea captain freed in swift firefight:

"MOMBASA, Kenya (AP) - An American ship captain was freed unharmed Sunday in a U.S. Navy operation that killed three of the four Somali pirates who had been holding him for days in a lifeboat off the coast of Africa, a senior U.S. intelligence official said.

One of the pirates was wounded and in custody after a swift firefight, the official said.

Capt. Richard Phillips, 53, of Underhill, Vermont, was safely transported to a Navy warship nearby.

The official was not authorized to discuss the matter publicly and spoke on condition of anonymity.

Can You Say Hell In A Handbasket? Well That's Where Britain and Then America Are All Headed If This Continues....

There's a story today of Brits who are joining this atheist group that is encouraging weak followers and other self loathing losers to their cause ,which is to join up to "De Baptize" ones self and predictably 100,000 or so have gone to this website to download this useless certificate so they too become Godless Atheist lowlifes.

First off I'm no evangelical bible thumping extremist by a long shot but I do know there's a God somewhere and I'm not about to start mocking him in the worst days the world has seen before her in the modern era of humanity, that's for damn sure.

It's no wonder they've all sat helpless there in Britain, just as far too many are doing here in America, while these Mad, Rad Muslims have turned their country and soon ours into their own newest, blood filled, Islamic sandbox without lifting nary a finger nor sword to accomplish.


The biggest problem with the world today is that everyone is their own God at the center of their own little selfish universe, and if this trend continues, expect the world to become slaves to Islam sooner than later. As history tells us that the only people in this world to ever stand up the frequently attempted Muslim invasions and strong armed tactics have been the God loving Christians and Jews. No merrybands of Atheists have accomplished anything worthwhile as far as I've been able to ascertain in 16 years of the finest education money can buy

No other good intentioned formation of peoples aside from again the Jews and Christians have ever had the inner and outer strength needed or required to conquer and beat back the invading Islamic beast.

Following atheist trend, Britons seek 'de-baptism':

"More than 100,000 Britons have recently downloaded 'certificates of de-baptism' from the Internet to renounce their Christian faith.

The Church of England said its official position was not to amend its records. "Renouncing baptism is a matter between the individual and God," a Church spokesman told AFP.

"We are not a 'membership' church, and do not keep a running total of the number of baptised people in the Church of England, and such totals do not feature in the statistics that we regularly publish," he added.

De-baptism organisers say the initiative is a response to what they see as increasing stridency from churches -- the latest last week when Pope Benedict XVI stirred global controversy on a trip to AIDS-ravaged Africa by saying condom use could further spread of the disease.

"The Catholic Church is so politically active at the moment that I think that is where the hostility is coming from," said Sanderson. "In Catholic countries there is a very strong feeling of wanting to punish the church by leaving it."

Illinois Pastor Uses God's Book As Shield From Evil Gunman, Later Succombs to Injuries

Once again Illinois is made a complete national disgrace, this time not from a lying and cheating politician but by a raging lunatic who decided today to take his miserable self into the house of God filled with faithful Americans worshiping peacefully amongst themselves until this social misfit arrived armed, opening fire on their equally peaceful and loving pastor, who at gunpoint was forced to use the good book as the only thing between he and his unknown assailant.

The Pastor Fred Winters took the fire and shortly thereafter succumbed to the fatal injuries as the beyond mentally disturbed suspect's gun jammed unfortunately at the wrong time, right before he was able to blow his own miserable brains out like the coward he was. So according to reports including the one below he then began to stab himself to end his life, which was unsuccessful as of coarse the good hearted Christian's came to his aid, enabling him to live and be taken to a Southern Illinois hospital outside of St Louis where he is expected to recover.

In the wake of this tragedy this imbecile is a perfect poster child for two glaring things in my humble opinion, and the first point I would make is this shows it's not the guns that kill as gun opponents will exploit this death to make their old and stale anti gun arguments, but the people pulling the triggers. Number two, had our state here in Illinois, (which by the way is presently becoming more anti gun by the second) allowed responsible gun owners like myself to apply for concealed carry permits for our legally owned and registered weapons, this poor defenseless pastor would alive today and the suspect dead as I and likely other citizens would have come to his aid and have stopped this loose screw dead in his tracks without a doubt.

So in conclusion may the deceased pastor Fred Winters and his family, along with his severely shaken and mourning flock accept our deepest condolences and prayers after this sad and unnecessary tragic loss of their dear pastor. And rest assured heartfelt prayers go out to them from us all on this dark and rainy Sunday afternoon, and may he rest in peace after this unforgivable act of random lunacy and cowardice.

Pastor Dead After Shooting at a First Baptist Church in Illinois

An Illinois pastor used the Bible he was reading from to shield himself from bullets being pumped at him from an unknown gunman who opened fire during Sunday services at the First Baptist Church in Maryville, Ill.

Senior Pastor Fred Winters was preaching during the 8:15 a.m. service when a man entered the church, walked down the aisle and started shooting, a parishioner told FOX News. Four others were also reportedly shot.

The .45 caliber semi-automatic pistol then jammed and the suspect started stabbing himself with a knife, Ralph Timmins of the Illinois State Police told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Timmins said the gunman slashed two parishioners when they tried to subdue him.

The suspect is in serious condition and is heading to the operating room, according to Saint Louis University Hospital.

Winters was shot three times, police said. He was pronounced dead on arrival at Anderson Hospital, a spokeswoman told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Five other people were taken to local hospitals.

Police said there were about 150 people in the church at the time of the shooting.

Linda Cunningham was sitting near the back of the church when the gunman walked up the aisle. She told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch she figured the man was confused about what time the service started because of daylight savings time.

Cunningham told the Post-Dispatch she, as well as others, didn't recognize the gunman.

Some parishioners believe the gunman used church bulletins to conceal his weapon.

"All you could see was confetti" Cunningham told the Post-Dispatch.

The church has an average attendance of more than 1,200 and was officially organized on March 4, 1945, according to their Web site.

Did I fall asleep fro a hundred years like Rip Van Winkle, only to awaken in this upside down, Topsy Turvy twilight zone called America, where the president is now a Muslim and the money simply grows on trees and bushes in Washington? This whole Obama movement is so entirely out control it's nearly inexplicable.

This garbage surrounding us is so deep I'm not even sure each day where and what to begin getting pissed about and in what direction to get motivated in order to start my workday to pay the lazy, illegal and stupid of this country and in between my schedule squeezing this blogging effort that I along with other patriots are using while trying as hard as we can, contributing to the betterment of the economy and society to maybe re-awaken or just simply inform a few slumbering Americans as to what the hell is going on in this country around us while we're all watching American idol and worrying about Hanna Montana.

Waking up each morning in a place where and when we can't even say the word God in the public square any more, nor post the beloved ten commandments (although a pivotal SCOTUS decision came down this week to the contrary thank the lord above) or our children can't say a prayer to Jesus Christ in public or in school, but instead can watch "little Achmed and Muhammad" kneel before them to pray to their pedophilia practicing and condoning God named Allah and the cult known as Islam as this incredulous story which has received no attention illuminates this morning:

Muslim prayer-in-school controversy might be solved:

NorthJersey.com: ""WAYNE — Four students knelt on a classroom floor during lunch at the Albert Payson Terhune Elementary School today and performed the afternoon Muslim prayer ritual."t was the first time the students had prayed in the school during school hours. And it may end a controversy over what arrangement the district should make to ensure the children’s constitutionally protected right to exercise their religion during school hours.

School parent Rola Awwad has been seeking a private place for her 10-year-old son, Adam, to pray in school since the fall. The district offered to let him pray at recess — either outside or in classroom while his classmates are there. At first, Awwad called the offer “unacceptable,” and the situation attracted attention from Muslim advocates who suggested bringing the issue to the state for resolution.

But Adam decided on his own to pray at lunch, Awwad said. He joined three friends today in a classroom with other students present. They performed the ritual in the back of a room.

“If it continues like this, it will be very nice,’’ Awwad said.

She said her 7-year-old daughter, Amana, also prayed in her second grade class, and she thanked the teacher for the arrangement.

Her son had worried other students would make fun of him if they watched him pray, but schools Superintendent John Sico Jr. assured her the district wouldn’t let that happen. As the students prayed, classmates played games, he said.

Sico said he consulted the Imam of the Islamic Center of Passaic County and felt he received support for his position.

Imam Mohammad Qatanani told The Record he had had a good talk with Sico and will meet with Mrs. Awwad today “to understand the issue from her side more.”

“As far as I am concerned the issue is resolved,’’ Sico said. “We did the right thing. The kids did the right thing. No one was making fun.’’

Afsheen Shamsi, spokeswoman for the Council on American Islamic Relations, which has intervened with the district on Awwad’s behalf said the accommodation was a correct step.

“It’s a question of finding the right balance and making sure the student is comfortable and the district is comfortable,’’ she said.

She said CAIR had considered bringing the issue before the state Board of Education. But Awwad said she wants to wait and see if the accommodation continues to work for her children.

All students are constitutionally guaranteed the right to pray during the school day as long as it doesn't interfere with learning. Muslims pray five times a day to reaffirm their faith and submit to follow divine commandments. The prayer is said during prescribed times; in the fall, when clocks roll back at the end of daylight savings time, the afternoon prayer must be said during the school day, Awwad explained.

Federal guidelines say schools can't prevent students from praying during school, but they can't sponsor religious activities or lead students in prayer. For instance, those guidelines specifically mention a student's right to quietly read the Bible during lunch. But they are not clear on what action to take when the religious expression is more demonstrative, as it is in Adam's case.

The answer in other North Jersey districts ranges from allowing a student to pray in the principal's office in Cliffside Park, to allowing a student in Passaic to pray privately in a classroom storage closet.

Wayne School board Attorney Nathanya Simon said “We recognize that the federal guidelines say we must permit the exercise of religion in school. However, it does have a limitation.’’

She said the district believed that elementary students must always be supervised.

“Right from the beginning, we were never going to ban it,’’ Simon said. “It was just a matter of how we were going to implement it and make it available.’”

Chicago's Historic Holy Name Cathedral On Fire From Renovation It Appears

How often while trying to improve on something that wasn't terribly broken in the first place does an historic building or home or what have you end up in worse shape than it was before the so called improvement specialists made the scene?

Here's a little quick story ........I once had an attic fan installed in my townhouse at the time to "save energy" in 1990 (below) and 1 week after it's installation the damn thing overheated and caused a fire in my attic, and the night before I had been at a Blackhawks game returning home at about 2 am on a Monday morning.

So In a deep sleep at 5 am a few minutes before work get up time my neighbor is banging on my front door at at which I semi awaken to answer, and he's all juiced up going like "man ....Ray your roof is on fire!!" and I keep looking at my car in the driveway a few feet away thinking he meant my convertible, and he's like "no, no,.... wake up man, your roof's on fire, your house man!!"


Then I wake up.. and he had already called the fire department and they proceeded to do their job upon their arrival minutes later which was putting out the small fire, something I really coulda' done with a garden house if I had one long enough and some planning, and so when they were done about twenty minutes later I was left with a flooded attic that ruined 2 rooms of my indoor ceiling, the obvious roof damage, an oriental rug all dirtied up from mud and water and about a 10,000 total damage bill!!! (homeowners picked up at a later date)

All for a Go* Blessed, do gooder attic fan to save a few bucks on energy and air conditioning!!! That's part of the reason I started hating environmentalists adn liberals.......lol kind of


Well this morning Chicago's century old Holy Name Cathedral across the street from the equally historic Water Tower Pumping station and world famous Water Tower Place, an upscale indoor shopping mall, once burned down in the infamous Chicago fire and was then later rebuilt by the parish.


It is now facing the same fate after a fire has broken out and is presently burning at 7:45 am, having apparently started in the darkness this morning ahead of what was to be a congratulatory service at 6am for the repairs being done as a result of the repairs being done .! (can you say illegal construction workers, my personal early thought and opinion)

Fire at Holy Name Cathedral

- Chicago Breaking News: "Flames shot off the roof of Holy Name Cathedral this morning. More than an hour later, firefighters were still pouring water.

Jimmy Lago, chancellor of the archdiocese, called the damage 'awful.'

'It's a tragedy just to see it,' he said. '...My heart goes out to the parishioners and those who worship here.'


The five red, broad-brimmed cardinals' hats, or galeros, suspended from the ceiling, were soaked, Lago said. Each of those hats was raised to the ceiling on a cardinal's death.

The fire may have been related to some renovation. Lago noted that work was being done on pillars in the cathedral and on some deteriorating wood high in the rafters. He said a worker was present at the time the fire broke out, but didn't know if he was working in the area where the fire started. (Earlier, Lago said no workers were present.)

The fire was under control at 7:30 a.m., but fire officials said they still would make larger holes in the roof to pour in more water.

Cardinal Frances George was on his way to the scene.

The fire started in an attic area in which major repairs were being made. The cathedral had been closed for six months to undergo major structural repairs and had only reopened at the end of august, church officials noted......continued

New York Town Bends To One Muslim Resident To Water Down Christmas Display With Islamic Propaganda

The town is the tiny Armonk NY, pictured below.

Why on a holiday to celebrate Christianity and the birth of Jesus Christ must an Islamic Star and Crescent of the religion or as more often identified as a murderous cult of Islam that doesn't recognize the birth of Jesus be displayed alongside a Christmas tree?

This is why; because the Muslim immigrants, just like the Hispanic ones that come here illegally, (not the legal hispanic ones which are few) like to move to these small enclaves so they can begin to attack the town's governmental system and customs with little blowback from residents , law enforcement or governments because these small towns have little budgets and can ill afford lawsuits and legal actions over Christmas trees and such displays in most cases.

In a nutshell that's why, then before you know it the small towns become bigger towns as word gets back home that Armonk or wherever is Muslim friendly per se, next thing a Mosque pops up on the corner and a Muslim runs for the local alderman or city ward positions, zoning laws get changed so prayer calls are heard over the city air raid sirens and Voila you have Dearborn Michigan, the Middle East of the Midwest somewhere else.

Now back to the Christmas issue at hand, will they be accepting Christmas trees or mangers with the baby Jesus at their local mosque during the Muslim holidays?

Don't you bet your RPG's, Koran or suicide vests on that one.

So all because one single Muslim (pictured below) complains on behalf of another 20 or 30 at the most in this town of 3600 mostly Christians the town of acquiesces and says sure Muhammad bring your Muslim display and set it up right next to the Christmas tree celebrating the birth of Jesus, the person you don't believe to be the son of God. Now the Menorah I understand since the holiday's overlap and most Jews also celebrate Christmas right along with us, but with the Islamic representation I see the relevancy here absolutely NOT.

So we have to let Muslims spread their propaganda bastardizing and tainting our Christian holidays as it cannot be called anything else in this setting at this time as the Muslims around the world detest Christians and Jews, it's advertising for Islam nothing more or nothing less grooming the towns across America for the Islamic invasion taking place and it's working.

Wake up America, your losing your country. And the Associated press reports it with glee that everyday more and more outside forces are successful in forever changing the landscape of America to the poiny we (the liberal democratic half of we) just elected a Muslim president who pretends to be Christian. Star and crescent joins Christmas tree, menorah -

Yahoo! News: "ARMONK, N.Y. – When they light the town Christmas tree in Armonk on Sunday, there will be a Jewish menorah right alongside, as usual. There will also be something new this year — an Islamic crescent and star.

And if there are any Buddhists or Hindus in town who want to see their symbols, the town is welcoming applications.

The holiday display, sponsored by the town of North Castle, which includes the village of Armonk, is among a growing number around the country that include the symbol for Islam.

'We've decided to go in the direction of being all-inclusive,' said Reese Berman, supervisor of the town of 11,000, about 30 miles north of New York City and the site of IBM headquarters.

The star and crescent have been part of the national Christmas tree display in Washington for more than a decade. The symbol also is part of the display in Mineola on Long Island, which also features a Christmas tree, a menorah, a Nativity scene and a Kinara candleholder for Kwanzaa. And Wellesley, Mass., has had a star and crescent alongside its Christmas tree and menorah for several years."

Who knows?... But just imagine if this young woman was instead intending to seek an abortion and was shown this ultrasound, something many pro life advocates would like to see inserted in the abortion laws around the country giving the potential mothers an opportunity to witness the growing life they are about to terminate for whatever their reason.

It's so amazing that even with the advancement of technology we now possess just about proving without a doubt of a fetus's viability, that millions and millions of people out there can actually say with a straight face that the baby growing inside the womb is somehow extrapolated to not actually be a living breathing person, simply amazing.

Eventually the era of abortions will be looked upon as the greatest single abomination in the history of mankind if it even survives for much longer with the frightening culture of death we now exist in.

Pregnant Woman Sees Jesus Image in Ultrasound -

Instead, she saw what she believes to be an image of Jesus Christ, MyFox Cleveland reported on its Web site.

Monet Sledge, from Lorain, Ohio, got an ultrasound in preparation for her first baby and was shocked when she saw what appeared to be an image of Christ on the Cross, the Web site reported.

She showed the image to her sister, a mother of four, to get her opinion. 'I was expecting to see little body parts,' Sledge's sister Tequoia Smith told MyFox Cleveland. 'Like a face, arms and legs.'

But she too believes saw Jesus on the cross.

'As soon as I saw it I was like oh my gosh.'

'People say maybe my baby is gonna be blessed and maybe it is a good sign,' said mother-to-be Sledge. 'I don't know, I've done wrong in my life, maybe he's forgiven me early.'

A Big Day For The Pope And Catholics Both Here and Around the World

As I type I am watching Fox News' coverage of the Pope's arrival and mass at National Park, and am glad to see as a catholic myself the country still herald's his both arrival and status, and that Christianity is going quite strong in America regardless of the left and the media both doing their best to destroy it, along with their radical friends of Islam of coarse who all must be cringing seeing this display today:

It is a terrible shame however that the Pope, or any human being for that matter has to travel in such a contraption to guarantee his or her safety in this country, but the nuts are out in force and this measure of protection is sadly necessary.

The next few days will be great for those who still find religion to be a great part of their life and hopefully may touch those whom it does not. And it will likewise be unnerving and painful for the liberals and Muslims around the country and world that wish to see Christianity and religion go the way of the last Millennium, to disappear altogether, except for Islam of coarse.

They sure do have a fight on their hands, that's one thing they can all be certain of.

Pope arrives at Mass:

My Way News - "WASHINGTON (AP) - Pope Benedict XVI arrived at Washington Nationals stadium on Thursday for his first public Mass in the United States, waving to the crowd as he stood in the back of a white popemobile.

Tens of thousands of people waved back as the German-born pope was driven through the grounds. A crowd of 46,000 was expected, and the demand for tickets doubled the supply, organizers said.

Barbara and Michael Loh of Williamsburg, Va., sat alone in the stands taking in the scene. They were among the first to arrive.

'I've been Catholic all my life and ... my dream has always been to see the pope,' said Barbara Loh, tearing up."

At 5:45 a.m., more than four hours before the Mass, it was standing-room only on subways. Vendors hawked Vatican flags and souvenir buttons, but there were few takers as people hurried toward the stadium.

For others, there was nothing more important than getting in, and many people without tickets stood outside the subway station with signs pleading for extras.

Patty Trail, 54, pastoral associate at a church in Virginia Beach, Va., drove overnight to bring two priests to the Mass. She didn't have a ticket but said she was happy to at least be in the vicinity of the pope.

Benedict spent the first full day of his U.S. journey Wednesday sharing a platform with President Bush and laying out his analysis of the American church to the nation's bishops.

Before Benedict's arrival, polls showed most Americans knew little or nothing about him. Those who have watched him so far have found a German-born pontiff who speaks excellent English, appears vigorous for his 81 years, mostly prefers script to spontaneity and displays a keen sense of the critical issues facing his 65-million member American flock.

One of larger questions hanging over Benedict's first U.S. trip as pontiff was whether and how he would address the clergy sex abuse scandal, which has claimed thousands of victims, cost the church more than $2 billion in court costs and settlements and led six dioceses to declare bankruptcy.
