(Well, they said he's liberal) Rep & Active Duty Naval Reserve, Mark Kirk, Latest "Military Embellisher"

This is MY congressman now this morning, joining the military 'embellishment of military record' brigade, although 'embellishing' is far less egregious than 'outright lying' as just about 'every single liberal candidate for any office anywhere' has done at one time or another.

Sadly this tune sounds way too familiar today.

Kirk now says that his unit – not just him – received a different citation from a professional organization called the National Military Intelligence Association. That citation – the Vice Admiral Rufus L. Taylor Award – was given to his unit while it was based in Italy.

Kirk by the way, is still an active duty soldier. Enough said although I can always say more. ;)

These dems caught with their 'medals down' haven't been in a war theater since Vietnam, but there's a 121 throughout the halls that have or are in the military which isn't too bad, not as bad as I thought when I looked it up.

A number of members of Congress have served in the United States armed forces; some are combat veterans.

There were 167 veterans in the 107th Congress, 153 in the 108th Congress, 126 in the 110th Congress, and 121 in the current 111th Congress.^[25][26]

Nixon and Watergate look like the Tooth Fairy.

CLOUT STREET: Republican U.S. Rep. Mark Kirk, who has highly publicized his position as a Naval Reserve intelligence officer in his bid for the U.S. Senate, has acknowledged he erroneously boasted he was named Intelligence Officer of the Year more than a decade ago.

In a posting on his campaign’s blog, Kirk said he recently reviewed his records and biography and made the change late this week, though he apparently made the changes amid questions from the press.

“I found that an award listed in my official biography was misidentified as ‘Intelligence Officer of the Year,’ Kirk said on the blog posting.

For years, Kirk has said he was named intelligence officer of the year for his role in the U.S. Navy’s actions during the war in Kosovo, known as Operation Allied Force.


When he first ran for Congress, he submitted a resume to the Tribune stating among his military decorations that he had earned the honor of intelligence officer of the year.

Commander Danny Hernandez, a Navy spokesman, said Thursday the individual 1999 Naval Reserve Intelligence Officer of the Year was given to another reservist and not to Kirk. He said, however, the intelligence community gives out unit awards at the local and regional levels.

I got a news flash for everyone out there, there's not a man or woman on earth over 50 in this country or elsewhere who didn't lie on their resume's before the internet came into use.

It's not an excuse but it's a reality. Only people my age, 45 and younger, seem to have to adhere to this new aged 'every thing ever done by you' is chronicled somewhere on the internet.

Yet we hire affirmative action hires all the time who don't even have to lie because everyone knows they're not the most qualified people for the jobs, forcing many people to try to embellish their resume's or even outright lie just to get hired if you're a white male in this country today.

Local Man Lee DeWyze In American Idol Top 3, Party Friday

I really don't follow American Idol but have been recently as this kid is from Mount Prospect, the next township over, and tomorrow, Friday,  they're having one of these local party's / concerts I guess which you see on the show when the people win or advance ....and is taking place at the down the street and  world renowned Arlington Race track.

This thing sold out in a couple hours and will involve a day long celebration and thousands of local's who all of a sudden become this talented man's best friends. That is, right up until he either gets knocked out or wins and then forgets REAL QUICK were he comes from....lol..

I've never heard the name before but we'll be hearing it now...

After Wednesday's "American Idol" vote, Lee DeWyze is officially one of the top three contestants, which means on Friday, his hometown will be hosting a daylong celebration and thousands of DeWyze fans.

After Ryan Seacrest announced he made the cut, DeWyze crossed the Idol stage, hugged his parents, Lee Sr. and Kathy and whispered "I love you guys."

Casey James and Crystal Bowersox join DeWyze in the top three and will get hometown parades of their own Friday. James, 27, will head home to Fort Worth, Texas while Bowersox, 24, will fly off to Ellison, Ohio.

Michael "Big Mike" Lynche isn't as lucky. Although the judges used their only save to rescue the soulful 26-year-old personal trainer and father from Queens, N.Y., in April, he was voted off the show Wednesday night.

Before the results were announced, Seacrest asked the final four what they thought after watching footage of past hometown celebrations, which include parades and throngs of screaming fans.

Illinois's $500 Million Corruption Tax Due to1500 IL CONVICTED criminal officials in this generation....

This is my rep, Mark Kirk, who I happen to like and who takes a lot of heat for being "too liberal". I guarantee you his opponent Alexi Giannoulos has more liberal in his left hand than Kirk in his entire body.

I myself have contacted his office through webmail a couple times regarding his votes, and always appreciated his military service as well to our country, something very few if any liberals of today can say about themselves aside from a couple men.  One being deceased pork king and Marine traitor John Murtha, but don't forget John Kerry who some may not know (if they were on Mars) that he served in Vietnam about as long as Obama served in the senate, before all of a sudden being qualified to become president.

But in Illinois he's about as close to a conservative in the race up here,  this time though his sites are set on the contaminated Obama Senate seat to scrub it clean of that criminal,  liberal stink all over it that the crooked, attention seeking psycho known to the world now only as "Blago" along with Obama left on it when they both bailed on voters to better their own careers and selves on our time and dime.

He sends this email today with an interesting stat, that being "in this generation 1500 Illinois public officials have been convicted of public corruption",  and we are actually being taxed for this if you can believe it, as I sure can., can almost believe anything from most Illinois Chicago area democrats.

And by the way that's not charged, that's convicted and sent to jail.

Part of human body found in bag behind Arlington Heights IL apartments

Around the corner one township over around the corner from Arlington Park International Racecourse for non Chicago area readers. Thanks to friend and reader Val for the tip yesterday on this .... ;)

 Arlington Heights police are investigating the discovery of a partial human corpse found in an alleyway behind 21 N. Dryden at the Marketview Apartments in Arlington Heights.

Daily Herald "Arlington Heights police continue to investigate the discovery of part of a human body found Friday in a bag behind the Marketview Apartments in Arlington Heights.

A spokeswoman for the Cook County Medical Examiner's office reported Saturday the discovery of a lower half of a body from the pelvis down. It appeared to be a white male. Time of death could be not be determined because of warm weather factors.

The body part appeared to have been cleanly cut with a sharp object, possibly a blade, rather than with more traumatic instruments such as an ax or chainsaw.

The autopsy could not determine if the victim had been killed before the body was severed.

Authorities had no information on the victim's identity.

Arlington Heights police had no comment on the on-going investigation, which involved the Major Case Assistance Unit."

Cohen, a pawnbroker, was accused of holding a knife to the throat of his then-girlfriend Eneman, a convicted prostitute, in October 2005. Charges were dismissed after Eneman failed to show up in court.

As far that goes and as I can see, Mr Cohen here meets and exceeds all the criteria as a far left liberal democrat. What's a "little knife to the throat" now and then, right? Heck everyone in Hollywood does it so why shouldn't the politicians? They think they're all royalty and celebrities so why shouldn't they act like them?

You couldn't dream up a more dysfunctional group of Americans than this dem led body in DC called congress, robbing us all dry, using the children as an excuse to pillage the financial landscape for the next century by moving their whacked nanny and papa state agenda.

I don't know about you all out there, but I'm damn tired of hearing Pelosi and Reid parroting  that "the American  people" this, "the American people" that, as it's all bull. We all know the majority has been telling them for over a year now that we don't want nor need any more liberal handouts in this great country.

And yet they still hear none of the dissent from we "piddly teabagger conservative Serfs." as they refer to non lunatic liberals.  Instead, they use their favorite homosexual phraseology and vernacular to demean us all, calling anyone who disagrees with their scorched America policies as racist teabaggers, and that's just for starters from these foul people.

These dems only listen to "we the people' when we're cowering in the corner like good little peasant constituents and their "anything goes anywhere anytime if it feels good" supporters.

In all seriousness though,  he's a businessman now who's entitled to run for office, and is less criminal on the face than anyone in congress for the most part at this moment in American history. He's a perfect candidate,

New Illinois laws for 2010 include "no texting while driving" among other dumb shit

Happy New Year Illinois as the lawbreaking lawmakers come up with three hundred new reasons to hate liberal big government and the people who are creating this sickening nanny state we live in today,  no longer the "Land Of Lincoln" it should be called "The Land Of Lawmaking Loons And Crazy Asses"

First off as the dumbing down of Americans reaches epic proportions as we now need a law to tell people not to text message while they're supposed to be looking at the gosh damn roads and hazards that pop up out of nowhere at high rates of speed while supposedly commanding an automobile.  A land where 10% of the people don't have legal drivers licenses and 100 % of those lowlifes also have no insurance, in a day when cars outprice the first homes built in the American housing boom after World War Two.

How about a law making it criminal to renege on campaign promises and make it easier to send politicians to prison for life along with term limits so we can get rid of the cockroaches every 2 years instead of allowing these crooks to "nest" in our halls of government for life like some kind of incurable disease?  Didn't see those interspersed with the 300 other likely unconstitutional laws that create more wealth for government than it's citizenry/

This is one from last year where the Auto Tags went from $80 a year to now $100 overnight. A 25% increase from the stroke of a pen of some politician who makes over 100,000 a year and doesn't have to worry about money ever again thanks to a brutally generous retirement plan regular old Americans don't have and couldn't afford if it were offered in the first place.

A state law that takes effect Friday also bans checking e-mail, updating Facebook and Web surfing while driving, though using your phone's GPS is still OK.

'We want everyone to keep their attention on the roadway,' said Capt. Scott Compton, an Illinois State Police spokesman. 'Texting and cell phone use is a distraction that not only takes your eyes off the road, but often takes more than one hand to do.'

The texting ban is one of nearly 300 new laws taking effect with the new year, ranging from ethics reforms in the wake of ex- Gov. Rod Blagojevich's ouster to how credit card companies can market on college campuses.

But the new rule likely to affect people's daily lives the most is the law prohibiting drivers from sending or reading electronic messages on hand-held devices. Drivers can text only to report an emergency or if they put the vehicle in park or neutral while stopped in traffic or on the shoulder.

'It's a very good thing,' said Myra Wyatt, 42, of Lincoln Park. 'Just yesterday I was texting in rush-hour traffic, and this new law will definitely make me think twice.'"  continued

Well it may make her think twice, but that doesn't mean she'll still come up with the right answer the second time if she didn't the first.  Sp already it's a joke, another law the government won't enforce, like our borders, deporting illegal aliens, real important shit like that.
