Crook County IL Alert: Daley Debuts New $1.8 Million Web Site | Meanwhile People Starve

People starving, children dying on their way or at school weekly it seems, and the City spends 2 million on their freaking website when I know people who would do it for a tenth of that easily. Obama's recently pulled the same crap, in fact... a couple times.

He spent 18 million on the Recovery.scam website which comes out to like $200.000 per freaking job it's created!! Probably half of them at the company who built the website ...18 million dollars for a bunch of stuff that most people know along with lots of subliminal propaganda and on and on.

This is really angering beyond belief when Chicago has the highest sales taxes in the country, if not the world I would imagine.

I'll bet you this much,  the original Library of Congress was probably stocked and BUILT for less than 18 million dollars. I'll bet anything.

Talk about the "same old shit - different day" with these loons, and then they all whine their individual Utopia's are ALL GOING  BANKRUPT!!!! EVERY FREAKIN LIBERAL CITY and NOW THE COUNTRY!!!

So yes it is the same old shit, yet today's a different day but nothing changes with these "tax and spend like drunken liberals"  liberals.

Daley Debuts New $1.8 Million Web Site

NBC Chicago: "The City of Chicago has a brand new YouTubing, Facebooking, Twittering destination meant to serve everyone’s governmental needs.

Mayor Daley’s office Friday unveiled an overhauled web site, cityofchicago.org.

The $1.8 million revamp streamlined the site to make it more “people centric,” and has options to pay bills online, apply for city licenses, sign up for email alerts and the like.

It looks like they’ve taken a hint from the White House, which overhauled its site when Obama landed in Washington, because there is a bevy of social media elements on the site, including easy links to YouTube, Twitter and Facebook.

There’s also Wi-Fi hot-spot locator which allows users to search out easy computing destinations.

City business is also supposedly easier to find. The web site has links to new legislation and the budget.

Still no link to the city’s shadow budget and links to TIF fund districts are difficult to navigate and don't all work properly (not surprising), but that's ok becasue there are these fun facts about the city to distract users."

Clout St: Ex-girlfriend: Cohen not fit to hold public office: "The ex-girlfriend of embattled Democratic lieutenant governor nominee Scott Lee Cohen put out a statement through her lawyer this evening saying Cohen is not fit to hold public office.

Amanda Eneman, 29, issued the statement through Gloria Allred, a high-profile California attorney. Cohen, a pawnbroker, was accused of holding a knife to the throat of his then-girlfriend Eneman, a convicted prostitute, in October 2005. Charges were dismissed after Eneman failed to show up in court.

Allred said Eneman lived with Cohen for “about a year some four or five years ago.”" more

As far that goes and as I can see, Mr Cohen here meets and exceeds all the criteria as a far left liberal democrat. What's a "little knife to the throat" now and then, right? Heck everyone in Hollywood does it so why shouldn't the politicians? They think they're all royalty and celebrities so why shouldn't they act like them?

You couldn't dream up a more dysfunctional group of Americans than this dem led body in DC called congress, robbing us all dry, using the children as an excuse to pillage the financial landscape for the next century by moving their whacked nanny and papa state agenda.

I don't know about you all out there, but I'm damn tired of hearing Pelosi and Reid parroting  that "the American  people" this, "the American people" that, as it's all bull. We all know the majority has been telling them for over a year now that we don't want nor need any more liberal handouts in this great country.

And yet they still hear none of the dissent from we "piddly teabagger conservative Serfs." as they refer to non lunatic liberals.  Instead, they use their favorite homosexual phraseology and vernacular to demean us all, calling anyone who disagrees with their scorched America policies as racist teabaggers, and that's just for starters from these foul people.

These dems only listen to "we the people' when we're cowering in the corner like good little peasant constituents and their "anything goes anywhere anytime if it feels good" supporters.

In all seriousness though,  he's a businessman now who's entitled to run for office, and is less criminal on the face than anyone in congress for the most part at this moment in American history. He's a perfect candidate,

I'd vote for him if I were liberal, sure I would.   ;>) They should too!

In fact, he could be even better suited for the job than they think if he turns out to be a tax cheat too ,like the President's cabinet choices and countless others we haven't discovered yet.!

In fact he's more qualified as a self made businessman than Obama is to run the damn country.

Again, I don't know about you folks but nothing to me cries out "compassionate citizen of the year" than liberal democrat pawnbroker, ya know?  I'm sure he can feel our pain too! lol

I know I visit them Pawnshops every time I want to get raped financially on a family heirloom now and then, especially when I'm in a financial jam, from smoking and toking the rent money, or especially when I wanna unload my favorite electronic stuff that I stole on the weekends, right?

IL Governor Primary Not Over Yet | 24 Hours Still Too Close To Call

24 hours later and we still don't know who the governor race winners are on either side because they're so close. Lieutenant governor race is still open on the republican side as well with Jason Plummer leading Matt Murphy  by 5000 some votes.

Like I said here and to friends and family last night, proof every vote counts, even in crooked Illinois for a primary once in a while. My guy Kirk Dillard is losing by only 508 votes, and it would be 10 more if the people I talked to on my block didn't vote. Between the voter apathy and republican fervor the lib gap was closed due to the embarrassingly low turnout. Less than 30%.

Talk about ripe for fraud. We'll be watching this closely for sure.

With 99.4 percent of the votes counted, neither Democrats nor Republicans are prepared to announce a nominee for governor.

Incredibly slim margins separate Gov. Pat Quinn from Comptroller Dan Hynes on the Democratic side and state Sens. Kirk Dillard and Bill Brady among Republicans.

Quinn and Hynes both claimed 50% of the vote.Gov. Quinn, with 454,665 votes, clings to a small lead of about 7,000 votes. That lead has increased slightly over the course of the day." read more

Where Are All the Voters? | NBC Chicago: "Illinois is hosting the nation’s first primary of 2010 Tuesday. The early voting day hasn't encouraged throngs of voters to flood the polls.

In fact, its quite the opposite. No one is coming out.

Polling places have been open for more than four hours, but some centers have seen just a handful of voters, said Jim Allen, communications director for the Chicago Board of Election Commissioners according to the Chicago Tribune.

Despite the national implications of the primaries taking place today, critics are blaming the early voting date -- which was put in place in 2008 to help hometown guy Barack Obama -- for the low turn out." continued

Because no one comes out in the primaries to vote, the state gets stuck with candidates that are less than the best and then one of them gets elected in the general. That's about it, (as we can see from the low turnouts today in an election to replace a crooked governor, who himself replaced crooked assed governor, representing both parties, who soon both will be in prison simultaneously)  as people stay away and we're all left with what sticks.

Which are usually gonna be democrats, because around here the Unions make their people get out there and vote, and they MOSTLY vote lefty, except for stragglers like myself and other conservatives who don't go with the flow.

It's quite possible people are waiting, because it was kind of crappy this morning before work for some, and the trend reverses this evening which I hope is what happens, otherwise it's the S-O-S, D-D.

Here's my ballot for the record....Don't blame me when we send more crooks up to office and the next moron becomes president after a month in the senate because on one voted in the primary, at least I did.

Blago atty: Obama as a witness would be 'awesome' - (Will They All Come Tumbling Down?)

They say Obama isn't accused of any wrongdoing in the Rod Blagojevich scandal they say..."Yet" is what I say and once this Blago fest gets underway don't be surprised when that all changes.

And that will be "When the walls come tumbling down" to take a phrase from John Cougar's extensive catalog. No one can tell me that Barack Obama and Richard Daley are the only "clean" politicians in the Illinois swamp full of scum....no one.

Vindication is right around the corner for we conservatives, just be patient. Obama's not on trial here, but he'll be a subject of interest that will grow like the fungus these dems are, and Blago sure wants the attention off of him during the upcoming trial. 

So he'll be name dropping to keep those headlines interesting and to show "the Chicago machine" chewed him up and spit him out over the raising of Taxes, (which he predicted in his defense they would do in his absence, believe me they have)..... and Obama's part of that machine.

Yahoo! News: "CHICAGO – One of Rod Blagojevich's attorneys said Wednesday it was possible the defense could call President Obama to take the witness stand if the corruption charges against the former governor go to trial, but added that it wasn't clear that doing so would be necessary.

Defense attorney Samuel E. Adam said following a hearing in the case that it would be 'an awesome experience in any career' to question Obama, who is not accused of any wrongdoing but did answer questions from federal investigators.

Blagojevich is charged with scheming to sell or trade Obama's former U.S. Senate seat, campaign fundraising abuses and other offenses. He has denied wrongdoing.

Blagojevich attorneys have asked U.S. District Judge James B. Zagel to give them an early look at the government's evidence, including records of interviews with Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, chief of staff Rahm Emanuel, presidential adviser Valerie Jarrett and two labor backers of Obama, Thomas Balanoff and Andy Stern.
