WLS radio Puts Mancow Out To Pasture

"See ya, wouldn't wanna be ya Mancow" as he's shown the door from conservative talk WLS, since they still couldn't figure out after a couple years what the hell he was doing everyday, with serious 40 yr newsman from all news 780AM in Chicago, Pat Cassidy, as his sidekick,along with the management genius that put them all there.

I personally couldn't tolerate the show for more than a couple minutes but others can, did  and do. I mean he's not insufferable, but he can be at times and goes back to the 90's around here, so his act has worn thin. Like when he performed that waterboarding stunt a while back, and wussed out before the water even hit his face barely, declaring it torture to cover his ass, which the left used to conclude waterboarding must indeed be torture.

It was a strange lead in to Rush Limbaugh to begin with, so now their afternoon co host Cisco Cotto (Koe Toe) who was paired with afternoon star Roe Conn will move into the 9-11 slot, and Mancow goes back to doing whatever he does when he's not doing this, which I believe is some nationally syndicated show that's no longer heard in his home city.

MTV's Big Change - Big Deal

They must have spent a whole weekend and a dime bag of weed coming up with this brand spanking new logo, just look at all the fine improvements that were made! Creativity at it's best folks, that's MTV. Not.

All they did was reverse out the colors if black and white count, removed the line of type and smooshed the whole thing flatter, or fatter I guess, to match young Americans who sit on the couch all day and night stoned off their ass watching that shit and wasting their youth on the young.(like we did 30 years ago kinda ...lol).  

They HAD to take the line of type out because Music Television is false advertising with what they're broadcasting. It sure aint music anymore, that's for darn sure.  And we can say the same about the TV part of it too while we're at it. 

Jersey Shore..gimme a break man.

It's funny that Michael Jackson actually put that channel and concept on the map, and now 30 years later he's dead and so is the channel as far as this cat's concerned.

CNN Reporter Camps Out In Front of Main Haiti Hospital Stirring Up Shit To Film

Watch this incredibly offensive piece of footage parading as a CNN report....Titled "US Troops Receive Mixed Welcome"..Yea,  after this guy got done stirring up crap to film because there was none.

I wanted to reach into my screen and choke this guy as all he does throughout the entire report is bash the US, the what he calls "slow response", emphasizing that it "took the world's largest military 7 days to fly in 5 helicopters"...and on and on and on he goes the whole time, picking this apart, then that apart regarding the US, a foreigner bashing us too working for CNN...I can't pick his goofy accent out entirely.

He even walks around saying "this looks like New Orleans to me"..American this, America that.

Then he tries stirring up some shit with the locals, by trying to get people to badmouth the US military , who are right on the premises just feet away protecting his dumb ass and the others there....finally locating one agreeable woman who starts ripping off racist comments about "all the white people taking over the hospital"  in French, or Haitian Creole, whatever the hell she was speaking.... Freakin (*;^*(^%*(%.

So why not let her and some friends run the show if she's got all the answers, along with the other  people ragging and bitching, as we all know they couldn't do it the first place, or we wouldn't be spending 3 billion since '92 on this half of Hispaniola.

It's I'm sure because they're all so self sufficient right?

I and we all love helping anyone in times of need and always do, we're the only ones there every time, right up until it's not good enough or quick enough to their liking that is, at least that's my feelings. And if guy's like this weren't  there making things worse instead of better, it would be a lot easier, I'm sure.

Breaking News: NYC papers' circulation offices raided, (Daily News.. New York Post)

Union shenanigans send the feds into the newspaper circulation offices around a few of the nation's largest papers this afternoon apparently. The dinosaur media delivery people probably chucking newspapers claiming they're accounted for so everyone up and down the line keeps getting paid while circulation in reality is dropping like a rock at most if not all liberal papers and their infection reaches the non liberal ones as well...

That's what's going on and it's happened before...here in Chicago I believe at a place I worked for a coupled years....yup I was right....not as dumb as I look....lol

AP source"NEW YORK (AP) - Investigators in New York City raided circulation offices at some of the nation's largest newspapers Tuesday as part of a union corruption probe, a law enforcement official said.

Police officers working with the Manhattan district attorney's office searched circulation offices of The New York Times in Queens, the New York Post and the Daily News in Manhattan, and El Diario in Brooklyn, the official said, speaking to The Associated Press on the condition of anonymity because the investigation is ongoing.

Investigators were seeking paperwork related to the Newspaper and Mail Deliverers Union, which packages and delivers newspapers across the region. Calls to the union's headquarters were not answered Tuesday.

Calls to the newspapers seeking information on whether the news operations were involved were not returned. The New York Times issued a statement saying that the office of an employee at its plant in Queens' College Point area had been searched but that its news side was not part of the investigation.

No arrests have been made, and the district attorney's office refused to comment.

The 1,600-member union wields considerable power over news companies that rely on their drivers to deliver hundreds of thousands of papers each day, and allegations of connections to organized crime are not. More than a decade ago, District Attorney Robert Morgenthau charged that the union was under mob control."

Are Liberal Newspapers the Next "Obama Bailout Beneficiary" of "Our Money"?

I left the newspaper industry due to illness back in 2001, the last ten years of it working at the Chicago Tribune in various graphics and printing capacities, and as I sit here now 8 years later, particularly after recovering dramatically in the past 6 months, I'd rather be doing what I'm doing now than what I was doing then .........and this is the major reason why...

The total liberal slant of the newspaper industry biggies is entirely responsible for their demise and losses of readership and advertising revenues that go with subscribers, and there's no capitalist reason in the world why "we the people" should be forced to subsidize their massive miscalculations and mistakes.

However, there are a metric ton of great socialist reasons for doing it, that much we do know.

So now the latest charity case on the "Obama the Statist" takeover list are these very papers as he knows damn well when they collapse his favorable ratings will finally soar through the galactic roof as his so called "people" start looking elsewhere for the truth and find it the first places they look .....the conservative blogs and Fox News are about as close as we can get to it for the time being, and that's still lacking in areas.

Wolf's tough 'Jeopardy!'......... I'll Take Wolf For The Loss Alex!

Good Old Liberal Intolerance Strikes Again, This Time on TV

This a good post at American Spectator regarding our liberal friends and their absolute intolerance of Americans hearing any opinions and ideas of any but theirs via network television or anywhere else for that matter.

This time their intolerance is being displayed towards the now red hot Glenn Beck of Fox News.

As the big networks cable offerings and the old Lefty favorite CNN get their asses constantly kicked by Fox News across the board in prime time and elsewhere, they're constantly looking at alternative ways of slowing down the news network. Which happens to be the only one that simply gives far more Americans what they wish to see, and that's some anti Obama news coverage built on the truth, unlike the others who are simply propaganda arms of the left and the radical Obama administration.

I watch 'em all and the leftward Obama loving slant on 9 out of 10 of these cable and network outlets renders them nearly intolerable much of the time in this office and household as most of you know as does the Nielsen Rating company week after week.

NBC wants Fox competitor Glenn Beck fired.

Chuck Todd and company at NBC News are outraged that conservative talker Beck won't --or can't-- be fired for calling President Obama a 'racist.' They blogged as follows:

**The White House doesn't want to give Glenn Beck a bigger platform or extra oxygen -- especially regarding his remark yesterday that the president has "a deep-seated hatred for white people or the white culture" -- so they won't comment, even off record.

Beck, after all, is a radio DJ who somehow ended up getting a national platform to give his opinion on politics. What's most amazing about this episode is that what Beck said isn't a fireable or even a SUSPENDABLE offense by his bosses.

There was a time when outrageous rants like this would actually cost the ranters their jobs. But not anymore; if anything, it's now encouraged. And all of this could turn ACTUAL journalists into the next Howard Beales.

It's getting nuts that the folks who are creating the perception of an ideological/polarized media world are people who have never really spent their lives being journalists. Whether it's former political consultants-turned-TV execs or former radio DJs, or former California socialites, the folks helping to accelerate the public's perception of the media off a cliff made their livings trying to do other things. Of course, Beck's crazy language could have one unintended consequence: It could cost him bookings with any Republicans who want to be popular outside Beck's hard-core bizarro-land viewers. Ahh, that good old "only journalists can know and understand journalism" attitude, as if there's some special qualification that enables one to consistently and sickeningly kiss the ass of the Barack Obama administration and Bash Bush.
