WLS radio Puts Mancow Out To Pasture

"See ya, wouldn't wanna be ya Mancow" as he's shown the door from conservative talk WLS, since they still couldn't figure out after a couple years what the hell he was doing everyday, with serious 40 yr newsman from all news 780AM in Chicago, Pat Cassidy, as his sidekick, along with the management genius that put them all there.

I personally couldn't tolerate the show for more than a couple minutes but others can, did  and do. I mean he's not insufferable, but he can be at times and goes back to the 90's around here, so his act has worn thin. Like when he performed that waterboarding stunt a while back, and wussed out before the water even hit his face barely, declaring it torture to cover his ass, which the left used to conclude waterboarding must indeed be torture.

The only torture that day was watching him do the stunt

It was a strange lead in to Rush Limbaugh to begin with, so now their afternoon co host Cisco Cotto (Koe Toe) who was paired with afternoon star Roe Conn will move into the 9-11 slot, and Mancow goes back to doing whatever he does when he's not doing this, which I believe is some nationally syndicated show that's no longer heard in his home city.

Robert Feder has a great column on the whole situation you can check part of here....

Radio earthquake: Mancow & Cassidy out at WLS | Feder

blogs.vocalo.org: "The Chicago radio odyssey of Matthew Erich “Mancow” Muller took another unexpected turn Wednesday when he was fired after 16 months as midday personality on news/talk WLS-AM (890).

The surprise move just after he got off the air was part of a swift program realignment by the new management team of the Citadel Broadcasting station. In his first public comment after his ouster, Muller said:

“There’s no rhyme or reason to this business. I’ve stopped trying to figure it out. I thought we were doing a great show. I think it had a lot of interesting elements, and I’m proud of the show we did.”"  continued

Hannity and Limbaugh Interview Wednesday 6/3 / Part 1

Part Two Thursday at 8pm cdt here's the first part to watch before tonight's part to put the thing together at once.

Part Two

Here Rush's radio show response to the ObamApology this morning while 2/3rds of Americans were sleeping asObama was doing what he usually does when in front of foreigners in foreign country's and certainly does best....

That would be to apologize and grovel as he figures "what the hell, I've been elected president, the only thing left to trick the world into now is to become their de facto leader as well" by bashing our country as much as possible..

Rep. Steve Israel & "Right-Wing Radio Spreads Flu Lies" Myth & Attacks

First let's look at what the left is calling a concerted attack by conservatives to blame the current Swine Flu debacle on Mexico which last time I checked is the country responsible for infecting the Americans and others who felt compelled to visit that hellhole and instead of bringing back T Shirts they brought back the Swine Flu.. But here's the left wing out of context drivel from the left supplied by Media Matters a few days ago...

Then things were compounded by a letter sent to media outlets by a New York Lawyer turned politcal shyster up in New York named Steve Israel which led to the suspension of talk show host Jay Severin to the delight of the media silencers on the left who work hand in hand with the MSM and soon the White House and Congress to silence all opposing opinions from conservatives only media outlet besides Fox and the internet, of coars Talk Radio..

Rep. Steve Israel: Right-Wing Radio Spreads Flu Lies:

"The last thing our country needs is radio hosts spreading dangerous misinformation about the flu outbreak. But that's exactly what we're getting thanks to people like Michael Savage, Jay Severin and Neal Boortz. These right-wing demagogues are targeting America's immigrant community and trying to turn a possible pandemic into politics.

This is simply deplorable and seriously dangerous.

A few days ago on his show, Michael Savage said, 'Make no mistake about it: Illegal aliens are the carriers of the new strain of human-swine avian flu from Mexico.' That is nothing more than fear-mongering and race-baiting in search of ratings. This is exactly the type of rhetoric that fuels discrimination and violence, and those violent acts are why last night the House voted to pass the Hate Crimes Bill. Apparently that wasn't enough of a signal to these guys that they've lost and tolerance and unity have won, but we'll keep fighting.

We can't afford to make this serious health emergency into a conservative radio circus. Americans need to stay calm and informed by listening to their doctors and our public health officials. And I'm asking Michael Savage, Jay Severin, Neal Boortz, and anyone who would repeat their arguments to stop now. Stop spreading these lies and work with us to keep Americans healthy and safe."
Here's Savage's response Thursday on his daily radio show which is typical rant from Savage which is why I listen as often as I can along with the others in the left sidebar of this blog....

Well that speaks for itself.. now back to Israel's letter which in closing remarked the following:

"Stop spreading these lies and work with us to keep Americans healthy and safe.".

Work with a man from New York of all frickin places who refuses to close our borders and attacks American's like Savage fighting every day to just that. Imbecilic lawyer up there padding his pockets looking to make a national name for himself is all this prick is.

A man who works part and parcel with the legislators in Washington who refuse to close the borders is imploring upon talk radio to keep this country safe? I agree with Savage and his assessment here of the moronic New York so called legislator, who instead of protecting Americans spends his time defending Illegal immigrants and spreading his left wing hatred towards people on the right.

People who refuse to grab their ankles for the left wing PC police, who are allowing our country to be turned into a third world shithole by refusing to close our southern borders to all the people of all races creeds and religions pouring in here like the water over the levee's in NOLA during Katrina.

Then today this comes out, only a third of the infected visited "Mehico" so it's entirely plausible and very possible the virus was picked up by the other 2/3rds being exposed to Illegals or legal Mexican's who were recently in the country, So once again the liberal scare mongers could be wrong and the Savage type supporters as right as rain...

My Way News - CDC says a third of US flu cases visited Mexico: "ATLANTA (AP) - About a third of the confirmed U.S. cases of swine flu are people who had been to Mexico and likely picked up the infection there, a federal health official said Saturday.

But investigations indicate many cases are getting the illness here, and that it probably still is spreading, said Dr. Anne Schuchat of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention."

Savage joins WND Broadening His Reach

I love Michael Savage's intellect and rage in addition to his wealth of experiences and knowledge in his books all of which I've read I'm glad to see more of him and in fact would be an advocate of him on a cable show of his own even though the last time didn't go so well as he spoke truth to the Gay Gestapo movement we're all being consumed by today over at MSNB sleaze.

A cable channel that airs the hatred from the left with no compunction whatsoever.
A sample of Savage savaging a liberal moron who calls in like most of the momo's thinking they're gonna school the host of his own radio show and use it like they use conservative blogs, flying by leaving obnoxious little turds like their cousins in the animal kingdom known as the flying rat or turd filled pigeons who do nothing in life except litter the landscaper with their excrement.

Michael Savage joins WND as columnist:

"WASHINGTON – Michael Savage, the author of four best-sellers and the host of the third highest-rated radio talk show in the U.S., joins WND today as a regular and exclusive columnist.

Savage will offer up some of his essays for the commentary section of WND, while others will be linked to his website, MichaelSavage.com.

'It is a great honor and privilege to offer Michael Savage's insights into the news at WND,' said Joseph Farah, editor and chief executive officer of the world's largest independent news source on the Internet. 'He has an immense following because he is witty, entertaining and fearless. We have partnered with Savage on many projects – his website, two No. 1 New York Times best-sellers and now a column.'

Savage's two titles with WND Books, 'The Savage Nation' and 'The Enemy Within,' were both runaway No. 1 New York Times best-seller" continued

Limbaugh Has Classic "Barney the Boner Buffer" Show Clips

Sometimes Rush's show is worth listening to just to hear him rip on Barney the Boner Buffer or Elmer pud as I call him both depending on what reason I'm even addressing his perverted existence, a twist on Limbaugh referring to Frank as Elmer Fudd due to his pronounced and many think planned lisp that I guess he feels turns on other Homosexuals because everyone else makes fun of it.

Today he had some references to some of Frank's greatest hits brought on by him cutting off a republican attempting to ask some questions of Turbo Tim Geithner when he ran into the Barney buzz saw that seems to surface every time the boner buffer gets the congressional speakers gavel in his slimy hands.

It's accompanied by this great cartoon as well

That one is good, but this clip here is by far the best audio demonstration of a person who is so self important as Frank the Boner Buffer thinks he is, and when surrounded by those congressional walls and pageantry thinks he's the king of all kings with a gavel and thank goodness Limbaugh has these archives tucked away to be used against these morons.

I only wish he made the stuff more widely available to the listeners who can't catch the shows during the day, and can't spring for the 24/7 deal like I have, so here's too good of a clip to hide, especially considering Frank is at the forefront of this criminal enterprise known as the 111th congress at this moment and I will try like many others to help run this fucker to the bathhouses in San FranFreako where he belongs.

Barney Frank's Greatest Hits: "The Gentleman Will Sus'thpend!": "RUSH: Barney Frank -- Elmer Fudd, Sylvester the Cat -- hard to tell the difference in the three, back in the news, ladies and gentlemen, all upset over the bonuses at AIG. To set this up, I want to go back to a Barney Frank greatest hit from January 11th, 2007, on the House floor. (hear this on the clip)

Pelosi Backs The "Little Dick Doctrine" AKA The New And Improved Fairness Doctrine

The introduction last week of the Anti "Fairness Doctrine" bill we covered weeks ago that was a lame attempt to lay cover for a little gem quickly identified by blogs and radio hosts as a trojan horse which actually contained a hard to disguise new and improved version of the supposedly scrubbed "Fairness Doctrine" and replacing it with what I call the "Little Dick Doctrine" or the "Turban Durbin Special".

The primary gist of the little Dick provision went like this for those who missed it

The primary text of the Durbin amendment reads:

SEC.9 FCC Authorities. (a) Clarification of General Powers. – Title III of the Communications Act of 1934 is amended by inserting after section 303 (47 U.S.C. 303) the following new section:

SEC.303B. Clarification of General Powers. (a) Certain Affirmative Actions Required – The Commission shall take actions to encourage and promote diversity in communication media ownership and to ensure that broadcast station licenses are used in the public interest. …

It' s terribly offensive to me and millions of others that they even tried to slip this lame piece of unconstitutional garbage, couched in a bill proporting to permanently shelve it's namesake, (only a week after Barry the Boob sent out this fraudulent trial balloon to throw the dogs off the scent per se by proclaiming through his own Scott McClellan, Robert Gibbs, that "he wouldn't support the re-institution of the so called "Fairness Doctrine") was a completely intentional kick to the groin by cocky democrats to all their pro free speech and dissension opponents meaning you and I essentially.

These audacious crooks are now beginning to think they can get away with just about anything after shoving through the treasonous Stimulus bill without Americans storming and taking down the Capitol Building which they were quietly expecting after such a blatant assault on America's constitution.

So having been more successful than they ever dreamed so quickly and painlessly achieved, the west coast Super Skank known as President in waiting San Fran Nanny Pelosi has now come right out and admitted as such saying basically"Ok you caught us, so yes, we're coming after Free Speech on the airwaves and talk radio is in our crosshairs" and she said it right here to CNS news just to make sure we gun and religion clinging rednecks get the word straight from the queen of jacks ass's mouth....."here we come again America and you're free speech and thoughts are the target this week."

Here's Senator Jim Demint who was the only one to really speak out forcibly regarding this piece of shit legislation at the time it was brought a few weeks ago

Speaker Pelosi Backs Senate Amendment to Regulate Talk Radio:

CNSNews.com - (CNSNews.com) – Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) told CNSNews.com on Thursday that she supports an amendment to a Senate bill that would force the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to “take actions to encourage and promote diversity in communication media ownership and to ensure that broadcast station licenses are used in the public interest.”

The amendment’s language is viewed by many media experts as a means to regulate conservative talk radio, particularly popular programs such as the Rush Limbaugh Show and the Sean Hannity Show, among many others.

House Conference Chairman Mike Pence (R-Ind.), a former radio broadcaster and one of Congress’ biggest opponents of the Fairness Doctrine -- an FCC regulation removed in 1987 that forced broadcasters to grant equal airtime to opposing political viewpoints -- told CNSNews.com that the amendment is a masked attempt to restore the Fairness Doctrine.

The amendment, sponsored by Senate Assistant Majority Leader Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) and attached to a bill (S.160) that would grant Washington, D.C., a vote in the House of Representatives, was approved by the Senate last Thursday in a party line 57-41 vote.

When asked whether she supports Durbin’s amendment, Speaker Pelosi said, “Certainly, I support Mr. Durbin in most things.”

“Diversity in media ownership is very, very, important,” said Pelosi.

Minutes after the passage of the ‘Durbin amendment’ last Thursday a separate amendment that would ban the restoration of the Fairness Doctrine, which was proposed by Sen. Jim DeMint (R-S.C.), was also attached to the same D.C. voting rights bill and passed by a vote of 87-11.

But Pence told CNSNews.com that Durbin’s amendment would mandate a “stealth Fairness Doctrine.”

“Its clear to me that Democrats, having failed in their frontal assault on talk radio in America through the Fairness Doctrine, are now shifting strategy to a form of regulation that is essentially the Fairness Doctrine by stealth,” Pence said. He added that he is not surprised Pelosi has endorsed Durbin’s plan.

“It should come as little surprise that Speaker Pelosi, who openly supports returning the Fairness Doctrine to the airwaves of American, would support a new version of it,” Pence told CNSNews.com.

But Durbin said last Thursday that his amendment should not be equated with the Fairness Doctrine.

"No one is suggesting that the law for the FCC says that you can give this license to a Republican and this one to a Democrat and this one to a liberal and this one to a conservative,” said Durbin at the time. “When we talk about diversity in media ownership, it relates primarily to gender, race and other characteristics of that nature."

Meanwhile, the amendment, which passed the Senate riding on the D.C. voting right’s bill, now goes to the House where Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) said he thinks Republicans may be able to muster the votes to stop it.

“I think as we get into the appropriations process you will see us continue our effort to make sure the Fairness Doctrine is not put back into place,” Boehner told CNSNews.com at his weekly press conference on Thursday. “And I do believe the votes are in the Congress to make sure that happens.”

The amendment is nearly identical to a policy position outlined by the White House that says:

“Encourage Diversity in Media Ownership: Encourage diversity in the ownership of broadcast media, promote the development of new media outlets for expression of diverse viewpoints, and clarify the public interest obligations of broadcasters who occupy the nation's spectrum.”

Similarly, the Center for American Progress, headed by former Obama transition leader John Podesta, published a report that called for new “localism” and “ownership diversity” regulations to balance conservative talk radio with progressive talk radio.

The report, “The Structural Imbalance of Political Talk Radio,” concludes with the following recommendations:

“[A]ny effort to encourage more responsive and balanced radio programming will first require steps to increase localism and diversify radio station ownership to better meet local and community needs. We suggest three ways to accomplish this:
-- Restore local and national caps on the ownership of commercial radio stations.
-- Ensure greater local accountability over radio licensing.
-- Require commercial owners who fail to abide by enforceable public interest obligations to pay a fee to support public broadcasting.”

Steele Already Dissing the Base for "The Hood"

Seems he's wasting no time already pandering to the same constituency that put Obama over the top in November, I call them the ACORN voter rolls, and he may just start a war within the party over a group pf people that'll never vote conservative until they get families and grow up out of the hip hop culture of which they choose to live.

Steele is a good man and I was behind his elevation to party leader completely and I'm no dittohead either, but as I've stated twice already he had better be careful who he sucks up to with this "Hip Hop Makeover " crap, trying to make the conservative party more appealing by doing exactly what he didn't do to rise in the party as he has.

That's by pretending to be a liberal "down with the hood" like Obama plays by hanging out on basketball courts and Bulls games to earn his "street cred"and other fake and disingenuous efforts to "act black" so as not to be labeled uncle tom's by those libs who label everyone something or another.

Now he like Obama has picked a fight with Limbaugh really being an ahole in my opinion, and I'm taking Rush's side on this one as his speech over the weekend couldn't have defined conservative principles and the liberal democratic dogma and their lack thereof better than it did.

So it now appears After Steele thought about it after making some gratuitous remarks on the DL Hughley show of all places he's backpedaling today realizing he'd found himself on the same side as Obama, not a good place to be for any conservative.. And Rush tore him a new Obama, or orifice.

(here's a bonus for reading, this is the clip from the Rush show in case you missed it or don;t have 24/7 ssshhh, it takes a while for it to start playing, it's a big file so be patient)

Then listen to and watch Steele make the remarks for which he apologized today found below from politico

***********************UPDATE ***************************
Steele to Rush: I'm sorry

Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele says he has reached out to Rush Limbaugh to tell him he meant no offense when he referred to the popular conservative radio host as an “entertainer” whose show can be “incendiary.”

“My intent was not to go after Rush – I have enormous respect for Rush Limbaugh,” Steele said in a telephone interview. “I was maybe a little bit inarticulate. … There was no attempt on my part to diminish his voice or his leadership.”

The dust-up comes at a time when top Democrats are trying to make Limbaugh the face of the Republican Party, in part by using ads funded by labor. Americans United for Change sent a fund-raising e-mail Monday that begins: “The Republican Party has turned into the Rush Limbaugh Party.” continued

********************original posted story below*************************

Angry Rush Limbaugh Strikes Back at RNC’s Steele:

Newsmax.com - "Rush Limbaugh on Monday fired back at critics of his fiery weekend speech to the Conservative Political Action Conference, and his biggest target was not on the left.

The conservative talk host saved his sharpest words for Republican Party Chairman Michael Steele. The barbs came in response to Steele's assertion that Limbaugh's challenges to the GOP are 'incendiary' and 'ugly.'

'I hope [Steele] realizes he is not a talking-head pundit,' Limbaugh said on his show Monday afternoon in a 20-minute response to Steele's criticism. 'It's time for you to go behind the scenes and start doing the work you were elected to do, instead of trying to be some media star, which you're having a tough time pulling off.'"

Editor's Note: Homeland Security Advises You Get an Emergency Radio, Get One Absolutely Free, Just Pay Shipping — Click Here Now

"Why do you claim to lead the Republican Party when you seem obsessed with seeing to it President Obama succeeds?" Limbaugh asked.

In an interview with CNN's D.L. Hughley aired over the weekend, Steele said: ""He's an entertainer. Rush Limbaugh — his whole thing is just entertainment. Yes, it's incendiary. Yes, it's ugly."

Steele took particular issue with Hughley's assertion that Limbaugh had become "the de facto leader of the Republican Party." The RNC chairman insisted that he, not Limbaugh, was leading the GOP.

"Rush will say what Rush has to say. We'll do what we have to do," Steele said.

On Monday, Rush said Steele appears more supportive of President Obama and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi than of his own party.

Limbaugh also accused the RNC chair of disloyalty, since he'd appeared as a guest on Limbaugh's show during his failed 2006 Senate run in Maryland.

"My parents taught me when I was growing up that you always stood behind people who defended you, that you never abandon people who stood up for you and defended you against assault," Limbaugh said.

Steele, for his part, is backing down on his comments.

"My intent was not to go after Rush – I have enormous respect for Rush Limbaugh. I was maybe a little bit inarticulate . . . There was no attempt on my part to diminish his voice or his leadership….," Steele told Politico Monday

He added: "I went back at that tape and I realized words that I said weren't what I was thinking. It was one of those things where I thinking [sic] I was saying one thing, and it came out differently. What I was trying to say was a lot of people … want to make Rush the scapegoat, the bogeyman, and he's not."

Asked by Politico if he was apologizing to Limbaugh, "I wasn't trying to offend anybody. So, yeah, if he's offended, I'd say: Look, I'm not in the business of hurting people's feelings here . . . My job is to try to bring us all together."

Much of the dust-up between Rush and some Republicans came after his rousing CPAC speech in which he railed against the Obama administration for spreading fear in order to promote a liberal, big-government agenda. In the speech he repeated his controversial remarks from January that he hoped Obama failed.

"What is so strange about being honest and saying I want Barack Obama to fail if his mission is to restructure and re-form this country so that capitalism and individual liberty are not its foundation?" he asked an enthusiastic crowd at CPAC.

"I frankly am stunned that the chairman of the Republican National Committee endorses such an agenda. I have to conclude that he does because he attacks me for wanting it to fail," Limbaugh said on his show Monday.

But not everyone in the GOP was on board with Rush's comments. Joining Steele in his criticism of Limbaugh was House Republican Whip Eric Cantor.

"I don't think anyone wants anything to fail right now," Cantor said during ABC News' "This Week" on Sunday. "We have such challenges. What we need to do is we need to put forth solutions to the problems that real families are facing today."

The RNC, for its part, spent Monday trying to deflect attention from the infighting among conservatives.

"Rahm Emanuel and the Democrats know they lose an argument with the Republican Party on substance so they are building straw men to attack and distract," RNC spokesman Alex Conant said in a statement.

"The feud between radio host Rush Limbaugh and Rahm Emanuel makes great political theater, but it is a sideshow to the important work going on in Washington," Conant said. "RNC Chairman Michael Steele and elected Republicans are focused on fighting for reform and winning elections. The Democrats' problem is that the American people are growing skeptical of the massive government spending being pushed by Congressional leaders like Nancy Pelosi."

Limbaugh Rallies Conservatives / Video of Rush's CPAC Speech In It's Entirety

Rush AT CPAC Closes out the weekend with a great speech.

Limbaugh's speech here was beyond anything the Messiah has ever delivered from his anointed mountaintop in never never land and demonstrates why he's the world's highest paid political speaker by virtue of his pedestal and bully pulpit he man's everyday on Clear channel radio outlets each day.

This is why democrats will do anything to shut he and his conservative cohorts on the am talk circuit,

Here's the full speech finally released in one viewable chunk at CSPAN here, 90 minutes of Classic Limbaugh
STRAIGHT FROM CPAC: A Speech for the Ages From Rush

« FOX Forum « FOXNews.com: "Rush Limbaugh’s extemporaneous speech to CPAC was a tour de force. It was Reagan-plus. It had vision, passion, humor, ridicule (not only for liberals, but for “conservatives” and Republicans who want to accommodate rather than dominate) and power.

Congressional Republicans and those who seek the presidency ought to listen and re-listen to this speech.

Rush embodies real leadership: he knows where he wants the country to go and he is unapologetic about giving directions. He properly ridiculed liberals for their abject and proven failure to deliver the poor from poverty and wondered why the poor continue to vote for Democrats when their position remains unchanged; at least it is unchanged for those who would rather accept a government check than do what is necessary to climb out of poverty.

Congressional Republicans and those who seek the presidency ought to listen and re-listen to this speech. It is the core of conservatism and it embodies not only the spirit of true conservatism, but the spirit of America’s past and America’s future, if we will embrace it." "'Ladies and gentleman, this is my first ever address to the nation,' Limbaugh joked, noting that FOX News and C-SPAN were broadcasting the speech live."......"
