Notre Dame Scandal Still Unresolved, Please Forward To Anyone You Can

We've addressed this a number of times here on the blog and yet according to an email I received this morning the folks at ND, they are still hard at work keeping this Obamanation at South Bend from occurring, which most concede at this point is a lost cause I'm afraid.

After all there's no way the offer nor appearance of Abortion loving and condoning president Hussein Obama is going to be rescinded at this late juncture, sad but reality sets in at this point.

However, the petitions now circulating can still be added to the record to show there was extreme opposition to the presentation of the honorary law degree being bestowed upon the Affirmative Action "Haahvad" Law graduate, who of coarse is most pro death politician in our history. This is the main point of contention as to why many are against his appearance at America's premier Catholic university, as it lends undeserved credibility to the abortion movement that will be used as left wing propaganda from here to eternity.

Something most definitely not considered by the misguided president of the University which will likely cost him his job once this is all said and done if we pro life Notre Dame supporters and Alumni lik my father eventually have our way, which is quite possible since they pay most of the bills up in South Bend.

Notre Dame Obama Scandal & Petition Letter to Father Jenkins

Dear Father Jenkins:

It has come to our attention that the University of Notre Dame will honor President Barack Obama as its commencement speaker on May 17.

It is an outrage and a scandal that “Our Lady’s University,” one of the premier Catholic universities in the United States, would bestow such an honor on President Obama given his clear support for policies and laws that directly contradict fundamental Catholic teachings on life and marriage.

This nation has many thousands of accomplished leaders in the Catholic Church, in business, in law, in education, in politics, in medicine, in social services, and in many other fields who would be far more appropriate choices to receive such an honor from the University of Notre Dame.

Instead Notre Dame has chosen prestige over principles, popularity over morality. Whatever may be President Obama’s admirable qualities, this honor comes on the heels of some of the most anti-life actions of any American president, including expanding federal funding for abortions and inviting taxpayer-funded research on stem cells from human embryos.

The honor also comes amid great concern among Catholics nationwide about President Obama’s future impact on American society, the family, and the Catholic Church on issues such as traditional marriage, conscience protections for Catholic doctors and nurses, and expansion of abortion “rights.”

This honor is clearly a direct violation of the U.S. bishops’ 2004 mandate in “Catholics in Political Life”: “The Catholic community and Catholic institutions should not honor those who act in defiance of our fundamental moral principles. They should not be given awards, honors or platforms which would suggest support for their actions.”

We prayerfully implore you to halt this travesty immediately. We do so with the hope that Catholics nationwide will likewise call on you to uphold the sacred mission of your Catholic university. May God grant you the courage and wisdom to do what is right.

This Phoebe Snow Story Is Somewhat A Strange one

For some strange reason this Phoebe Snow story is being heavily trafficked today as a Jewish singer known for the song Poetry man has chosen to take a DNA test and make the results public in order to prove and solidify her ethnicity in the eyes of apparent skeptics I guess.

Strange to say the least. Or a clever publicity stunt as a musician myself I've never heard one single person debate whether or not this woman was Jewish, Black, Caucasian or whatever she's trying to prove, not one single word or story of such can be located...However this morning for some reason the CBS Sunday Morning show decided to present a piece that focused on this claim with a story revolving around her that's generating much interest on the net this morning: Here's the promo for this morning's show:

Babies Having Babies... 13 & 15 Yr Old British "Mom & Dad" is Nutso

How and why this is even being allowed is beyond me? The parents of these two kids are nuts, although with the alternative being an abortion this is the more humane option of coarse but this family should be forced to assume any and all financial obligations arising from their decision to allow these two children to play house with a real child like this.

First off this little kid looks like I did in the 3rd grade, for when I was his present age, 13, I was 6 foot 140 lbs and had a mustache! I just can't believe he's thirteen years old and this little situation is frightening for a number of obvious reasons. But to me it's particularly troubling in this internet age where other kids are now gonna see this story and decide "they too want to play house for real" because it looks so easy and look at all the attention they'll get from the goofball sicko media that loves this crap.

Egypt cancels New Year's Eve over Gaza 'massacres'

Egypt has cancelled official New Year's Eve events in solidarity with the suffering of the Palestinians being "massacred" in Gaza, the state-owned Al-Ahram daily reported on Wednesday.

Since Israel unleashed its massive aerial attack on Hamas and the Gaza Strip on Saturday, at least 374 Palestinians, including 39 children, have been killed and 1,720 wounded, Gaza medics say.

Controversy in new education czar's past

(OneNewsNow.com): The director of the division of school advocacy for the Illinois Family Institute says the appointment of Arne Duncan as the new "education czar" has positive and negative elements.

President-elect Obama has chosen Chicago's CEO of public schools Arne Duncan to head up the Department of Education in his administration. Duncan is lauded by school reformers as a supporter of merit pay for teachers, charter schools, and student accountability. But Laurie Higgins of the Illinois Family Institute says Duncan is also a supporter of a proposed controversial Chicago school.

"Just this past fall, a small group of people -- educators in this city [Chicago] -- proposed...a homosexual high school for Chicago. [I]t was called the Social Justice High School Pride Campus," Higgins explains. "And the first step was to get his recommendation on whether the board should approve it -- and Arne Duncan did recommend that the board of education approve the school."

Higgins points out the mayor of Chicago initially opposed the school, as did an area homosexual group. They argued that the school would amount to segregation and that the school would not be needed if all high schools became "gay affirming." But Higgins adds that on the national scale, many homosexual bloggers applauded the proposed school.

"So my concern is that with this bigger platform and more support [through Duncan], that homosexual groups will now push for more schools like this," says the pro-family spokeswoman.

A decision on the homosexual school in Chicago has been delayed for at least another year.

Another concern over Duncan has been voiced by NewsBusters.org. That group says the education secretary-designate is connected to The Annenberg Challenge, which links him to William Ayers.

Homosexual High schools, just what a country and cash strapped cities and towns need for maybe .00023 of the student population in the US. Maybe they'll have about 6 kids per school, what a joke. HUMAN EVENTS: "Not content with having won the White House and expanded its majorities in the House and Senate, the Left is now training its vitriol on ... a calendar.

No joke. The same tolerance-worshiping Obama supporters who demanded change and got it are now suffering brain aneurisms from the mere existence of calendar celebrating (gasp!) conservative women.

Another claims the calendar is “an attempt to make erections lean to the right.” The women, they complain, “aren’t even remotely attractive.”

Some insist the calendar women aren’t actually women at all, but are in reality men in drag. Others say they’re not even people. One blogger says the ladies “look like cyborgs trying their best human impersonation.” Another calls them “mutts.”

Still another finds it incredible and “offensive” that “even one person would want to look at all these [expletive] for twelve straight months.”

And the fact that the Luce Policy Institute even suggests the ladies are attractive makes one offended man “want to look for the nearest revolver.”
As for the calendar’s overall aim to provide college girls with smart conservative women role models, the liberals’ reactionary loathing reaches new heights. “If you have a cute daughter with small brains and lots of [expletive] opinions,” a blogger grumbles, “this might be the inspiration that she needs to make something of herself.”

One of the photos portrays a woman hanging herself, while another depicts an individual who appears to have overdosed on prescription medication.

The calendar so upsets one individual that that he fumed he would “kill” one of the calendar ladies if he could “get away with it.”

Some have decided that the calendar’s seemingly innocuous vintage Hollywood theme inappropriately harkens back to the time of “the Nazi’s promise of world domination for the Aryan race,” or “before women could vote and could be more easily disciplined,” or back “when a husband could correct his wife by beating her with a stick.”

While a small few took issue with the mink motif, most cracked wise at the ladies themselves. “I just don't understand why someone would skin scores of rodent-like creatures ... only to outfit another,” one enlightened blogger mused.

The overall consensus in the left-wing blogosphere? The calendar is “weird,” “creepy,” “pathetic,” “disturbing,” “repulsive,” “revolting,” “terrifying” and “tacky as sin.” Many simply can’t understand how it wasn’t a “joke.”

So this is tolerance.

It would seem that Bush Derangement syndrome has found a new home -- in a Virginia-based think tank that promotes conservative women leaders.
The sheer hatred of the liberal attacks is staggering. These people are to the extreme Left as the Ku Klux Klan is to the extreme Right. And they’re continuing to come out of the woodwork.

But what can explain such malicious prejudice among the very sector of society that chooses as its public altar the utopian notions of tolerance and acceptance? The good news for conservatives is that if these ladies were of no consequence, no one would care enough to attack them. That they come under withering assailment for being in a calendar -- a calendar! -- proves how effective they are in posing a threat to those of differing ideology.

And if this is how the Left reacts to something as benign as a calendar, what can we expect in the next four years when President-Elect Barack Obama makes good on his promises of hope and change? What sort of “tolerance” can our nation expect? Forewarned is forearmed.

Did Liberal America Think Electing Obama Would Appease Our Enemies?

Well it didn't and it won't.

Al-Qaida No. 2 insults Obama with racial epithet:

Authorities said that a 17-year-old girl in a hot-pink sweatshirt approached Smith outside of a Winn-Dixie supermarket at Hypoluxo and Jog roads in Boynton Beach Wednesday evening and asked the girl what her favorite cookies were. Police told WPBF that, while Smith was telling the teen about her favorite Cinna-Spins, the teen snatched an envelope containing about $167 off of Smith's table, hopped into another teen's car and drove away."

It's Official -- Belmont Bans Smoking In Some Homes
News Story - KNTV San Francisco: "The Belmont City Council on Tuesday night adopted a landmark ordinance regulating secondhand smoke in the city. The ordinance passed on a 3-2 vote and will go into effect in 30 days, according to City Manager Jack Crist. The ordinance was introduced by the City Council on Sept. 11, and then approved with a few wording changes at its Sept. 25 meeting.

Thought to be the first of its kind in California, the ordinance declares secondhand smoke a public nuisance and extends the city's current smoking ban to include multi-unit, multi-story residences. Though Belmont and some other California cities already restrict smoking in multi-unit common areas, Belmont is the first city to extend secondhand smoke regulation to the inside of individual apartment units." continued

And another little ban goes along with this one apparently, one that is a bit more understandable, but yet quite an intrusion on personal privacy rights that liberals so often talk about losing from the present administration in Washington as well:

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - California motorists will risk fines of up to $100 next year if they are caught smoking in cars with minors, making their state the third to protect children in vehicles from secondhand smoke.

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger on Wednesday signed a bill that will make it an infraction to smoke in a vehicle if someone under age 18 is present. But the traffic stop would have to be made for another offense, such as speeding or an illegal turn, before the driver could be cited for smoking. continued
