They also burned a nice little effigy of him a couple days ago. Elsewhere, hundreds of angry Afghans burned an American flag and chanted "Death to the Christians" to protest the planned burning of Islam's holiest text.

Later on I read this in the Sun Times which actually says the thing was stolen and then found later rimless, not just 'stripped down' as the headline implied and the story above did. It says nothing about it being outright carjacked or heisted.

Don't get me wrong, many people can't quit or just won't try but they're not the target because THEY didn't promise they would quit to get the job they have.
If you or I told many employers whether or not we smoke it could and in many cases keep you from getting hired or fired for lying about it. 'So what makes him so special' is my point, not that anyone who can't quit is a weakling.
that's not so, It was harder for me to quit smoking than it was to start walking again after a decade of being crippled from MS.....seriously....I tried for decades before I finally quit, and still puff on mini cigars. :(.

You know what though, I'll bet that is the 'real' reason why he loves golfing so much, because from all observations I've made and seen, he really sucks at it for playing so much.... so it can't be 'because he likes it' , and he never picked up a club until becoming president I know FOR A FACT.
So it's just the 'getting away' part he loves at our expense week in and week out. Everyone deserves time off from work, just not at our expense, that's all.
Anyhow....he loves it so he can get out there to smoke and drink, using it to feed his addictive personality without the entire world watching, at least until he can get back to being "himself" again like Slick Willie has done since leaving ;) .

That's how I feel, as the president should be a 'better, well rounded, and far more accomplished person' than the rest of us, at least in my world view.
And since he's been in office he's proved himself to be no better than you or I you can bet, other than at his Grade A con game, and if any "MEDIA CREATED JAMOKE" can become president today, we're in trouble.
Furthermore, it has 'squat diddly' to do with his color, (which we haven't really even determined what it is, 'Mutt' is the way he described himself, so I'll go with that ...lol ..) it's the lying bullshit and self grandiose behavior that everyone hates most about the man.

This evening, a bit after the Obama speech in his new digs we foot the bill for, John McCain laid out HIS reasons "it sucked" on the Sean Hannity show, which were damn good ones in their own right and well enough for me, although whenever the man speaks now, I sadly can only look at him as 'the only man in US politics' who could lose to this snake Obama.

After he makes a $65,000 an hour trip to Ft Bliss this afternoon, tonight for what I sadly believe is nothing more than the obligatory "thanks troops" photo op with this man, President Zero, AKA Barack Hussein Obama will attempt to claim tonight it's finally 'Mission Accomplished Not Quite' in Iraq thanks mostly to he and his being elected of course.
I base that assumption from knowing him these past couple miserable years and his propensity to shun responsibility for anything 'bad' blaming most of his shortcomings and missteps for the most part on President Bush.
However, we ALL know he and these democrats will today and forever hereafter try to take credit for an accomplishment that neither he nor they had a damn thing to do with, particularly since the "Iraq Withdrawal timetable" was well laid out before he was even elected president.
Not to mention every liberal this side of San Fran Freako has been against this mission from it's inception, even going as far as 'aiding and abetting the enemy' under just about any patriot's definition of the term since day one, and only retreated once their Kenyan born boy was elected president, and not a second sooner.
Furthermore, were it 'up to him' and most democrats (who were against the surge from start to finish) this war would have been lost long ago if in fact it's even been 'won', so for them to try to grab the glory while throwing a little bone to the soldiers who deserve the bulk of the credit for what's been accomplished in Iraq and no one else is a bit offensive to this American, and must be as well for all those who did all the heavy lifting.
It's great many are coming home yet more than he'll send to our border to protect 'IT ' remain there to protect theirs in Iraq.
In fact Obama doesn't even "like" being Commander in Chief, so if that indeed is the case as this NYT piece let on the other day linked indirectly below, let's just relieve him of his duties...
Frankly, nobody deserves any credit other than the soldiers and their families who sacrificed their lives in over 4,287 cases, with over 30,000 wounded, and will continue to do so as 50,000 troops stay behind to 'keep the peace' for only God knows how long. Men and women who sacrifice day in and day out far more for this country than any of we 'non service people' can understand, including myself.
For 'proof' of that we need only look to the fact that there's still troops on the 38th parallel on the DMZ in North and South Korea, and we have the largest US embassy on planet earth located in the 'Green Zone' of Iraq. It's not there to leave empty for the next 20 years, of that we can be certain.
So from this American to those returning home to an America they won't recognize, congratulations on a job well done and welcome home for those lucky enough to be coming back at this time .
For those who will not be returning, it sure doesn't sound like 'Mission accomplished' for them yet does it?
Apparently Obama did call President Bush although only those two know at the present time what was discussed and 'perhaps' Obama gives him a 'hat tip' in his speech, we'll see. Count me among the doubters such a thing will take place.

When Obama was inaugurated in January 2009, his job approval rating was 64 percent among men and 69 percent among women, according to Gallup. That was the highest his approval ever hit with men.
Obama’s approval rating first dipped below 50 percent among men in the week of Aug. 24-30, 2009. In October and November of 2009, it rebounded above 50 percent for a four-week stretch, but then in the week of Nov.16-22 it dropped to 46 percent and has never again exceeded 48 percent.
The last time Obama had an average weekly approval rating as high as 50 percent among American women was the week of June 28-July 4

Barack Obama Elementary School opens its doors in Upper Marlboro, Md., for the first time Monday. The school is being touted as being an environmentally friendly 'green' school. There have been other schools named after President Obama in the country, but this will be a first in his own backyard in the D.C. region.
That's just one of several new initiatives for Prince George's Public Schools this year. The District also will open an all-male charter school in Upper Marlboro. Called Possibility Prep, the new school will emphasize math, science and engineering. Uh, yea. Look how some of the headlines say "incorrectly" as I noted above. What bias? All we have is Obama's word he's a Christian. He's never "proved it" to the world, yet I and millions of others can prove we're Catholics and so on.
This is nearly identical to the outcome of the Stuart Libby fiasco it now turns out although he, Libby, was convicted of 4 supposed lies or perjury committed also during a trial for something Richard Armitage did... and I among many others don't think they, the federal government, proved a thing against this man Blagojevich.
Don't get me wrong, I didn't vote for the man, never would, and he's definitive slime, but they sure fell 'a country mile short' of what they advertised when taking him down a while back one morning, dramatically arresting him at his home after weeks of media jousting, and the excuse from Pat Fitzgerald was they 'jumped' when they 'did' because it appeared he was about 'to do something illegal'.
WHAT? Yes indeed, that was their line, because the public you'll remember was infuriated this scenario wasn't allowed to play out and suck Obama down with it, were it to have been taken to it's logical conclusion, the fulfillment of the actual bribes being concocted by the Obama, Blago, Emmanuel triumvirate that were supposed to be the basis of the entire case.
Remember, Partick Fitzgerald said this was 'corruption that's making Lincoln turn over in his grave".
As it turned out this was nothing but a 'morning at the office' for Obama and the boys as the only time he's NOT lying is when his mouth is shut like most [d] and many [r] politicians.
The feds obviously moved prematurely to protect Obama and nothing more, and this apparent NON VERDICT proves it. All charges were garbage and all they end up getting him on is lying during the investigation.

Since I posted this Obama waste, the UK press is all over the Obama playtime waste machine and claims her vacation [which I've calculated and posted was around 175 thou for days] is costing us $350 thou.
So add that to the $259 for Obama's trip to Chicago to fund-raise, and I think we have enough here to impeach for flat out waste and fraud if the other 3000 reasons aren't effective.

President Barack Obama and his motorcade arrived about 5:45 p.m. at his Kenwood neighborhood home, where a small crowd of neighbors and onlookers took photos and held signs.
About 7:05 p.m. Obama left his house in a motorcade and after hitting a little traffic arrived at 7:31 p.m. at the graham elliot restaurant on the 200 block of West Huron Street in the River North neighborhood.
The media was not told immediately who is dining with the president, and by 8 p.m. a crowd of onlookers began to form near the restaurant.
Earlier at Andrews Air Force Base, Obama boarded Air Force One at 4:20 p.m. Eastern time, with Rahm Emanuel, Valerie Jarrett, Robert Gibbs and Patrick Gaspard also on the plane.
Obama landed at O'Hare International Airport at 4:58 p.m. local time and was greeted by Mayor Richard Daley, Gov. Pat Quinn, and other political dignitaries. After the greetings, Obama and Daley boarded Marine One to travel downtown, departing about 5:15 p.m.
