"Obama will turn the entire US into the south side of Chicago" - Chicago Ray
God Bless America...
Coming from Buffalo Grove IL, 20 miles NW of King Richard Daley's
Fiefdom AKA Chicago,Illinois,USA the land of the free because of the brave..
Here's one of my first posts and observations on a then potential Obama presidency in Feb 07/ I'm no prophet believe you me..... it was all common sense far too many today simply 'lack',
George Mason explained, “(T)o disarm the people (is) the best and most effectual way to enslave them.” Noah Webster elaborated: “Before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed
These people have incredible video of illegals, Armed terrorists, you name it invading the country each second of every day..
Most certainly NOT the inconsiderate, selfish Muslims trying to 'jack, whomever they can for the most moolah to either move or sell this "Community Victory Mosque", a MUSLIM only facility within rocket propelled grenade distance of the scene of the Islamic crime committed that day.
We've all seen their RPG proficiency on the west bank, Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia and elsewhere so they have a 'clean shot' at the new facility when it's done in the next lifetime God willing at the pace it's been. People laugh when I say that and I say to them "keep on laughing all the way to the prayer rug" dhimmi....
The most brutal of crime taking the lives of 2996 or thereabouts innocent New Yorkers and other 'friendlies' all trying to 'earn that pay' done in the name of Allah, as we all know too well by 19 Muslim hijackers using our own airliners as missiles against our own people on our own freaking real estate and government icons.
No, these provocative Muslim agitators trying to build this thing aren't the victims like they wish to portray themselves as, with our 'off the wall' media more than happy to comply with their 'death cult' agenda I might add. They do so because they both have 'much' in common as they two cults parallel a society of 'tyranny and hell on earth' eventually one way or the other.
No, they're no 'victims' .......It's these people....and as far as I'm concerned they're twisting the knife in their graves with this recent agitation of the American people. Or should I say the 'latest' agitation from that demanding and aloof community.
After he makes a $65,000 an hour trip to Ft Bliss this afternoon, tonight for what I sadly believe is nothing more than the obligatory "thanks troops" photo op with this man, President Zero, AKA Barack Hussein Obama will attempt to claim tonight it's finally 'Mission Accomplished Not Quite' in Iraq thanks mostly to he and his being elected of course.
I base that assumption from knowing him these past couple miserable years and his propensity to shun responsibility for anything 'bad' blaming most of his shortcomings and missteps for the most part on President Bush.
However, we ALL know he and these democrats will today and forever hereafter try to take credit for an accomplishment that neither he nor they had a damn thing to do with, particularly since the "Iraq Withdrawal timetable" was well laid out before he was even elected president.
Not to mention every liberal this side of San Fran Freako has been against this mission from it's inception, even going as far as 'aiding and abetting the enemy' under just about any patriot's definition of the term since day one, and only retreated once their Kenyan born boy was elected president, and not a second sooner.
Furthermore, were it 'up to him' and most democrats (who were against the surge from start to finish) this war would have been lost long ago if in fact it's even been 'won', so for them to try to grab the glory while throwing a little bone to the soldiers who deserve the bulk of the credit for what's been accomplished in Iraq and no one else is a bit offensive to this American, and must be as well for all those who did all the heavy lifting.
It's great many are coming home yet more than he'll send to our border to protect 'IT ' remain there to protect theirs in Iraq.
In fact Obama doesn't even "like" being Commander in Chief, so if that indeed is the case as this NYT piece let on the other day linked indirectly below, let's just relieve him of his duties...
Frankly, nobody deserves any credit other than the soldiers and their families who sacrificed their lives in over 4,287 cases, with over 30,000 wounded, and will continue to do so as 50,000 troops stay behind to 'keep the peace' for only God knows how long. Men and women who sacrifice day in and day out far more for this country than any of we 'non service people' can understand, including myself.
For 'proof' of that we need only look to the fact that there's still troops on the 38th parallel on the DMZ in North and South Korea, and we have the largest US embassy on planet earth located in the 'Green Zone' of Iraq. It's not there to leave empty for the next 20 years, of that we can be certain.
So from this American to those returning home to an America they won't recognize, congratulations on a job well done and welcome home for those lucky enough to be coming back at this time .
For those who will not be returning, it sure doesn't sound like 'Mission accomplished' for them yet does it?
Apparently Obama did call President Bush although only those two know at the present time what was discussed and 'perhaps' Obama gives him a 'hat tip' in his speech, we'll see. Count me among the doubters such a thing will take place.
John Boehner takes a pre emptive strike at Obama basically saying "many democrats talk all day about the end of combat in Iraq but we don't hear much about WINNING"
4,419 U.S. troops have died in 7 years of war in Iraq.
They died for us, for the Iraqi's first taste of freedom and to settle some old scores, and frankly in this American's opinion, those people there owe them their asses and us their oil for the next 25 years for asses kicked and 'Mission Accomplished', but thanks to the liberals we'll never see a dime of that sort of payback money.
This day would have happened 5 years ago if the liberals in this country would have kept their mouths and keyboards shut, and supported the war effort like every American sans Vietnam has done during our entire history for the 6 years before bonehead Obama was elected as they have since, as we have the entire time, from the night it started with Shock and Awe.
But they didn't and here we sit 5 years later and almost 4500 military men and women lighter since 911.
It's not so wonderful a gift, but we thank them for all they've done, apologize to them for all they lost, especially their fallen comrades and their families who have suffered untold and immeasurable sacrifices, and we prey they don't have to do it all again in this lifetime.
Even though Iraq had no direct connection to 911 aside from one meeting and the harboring of some Al Queda, our government were the boneheads that created Saddam, so finally after 911 it was up to us to kill the monster before he piled on the 'fun', and our finest in the world military did just that, delivering Saddam and his sons' heads on silver platters to the Iraqi's as promised.
So, perhaps we'll just nuke em next time, because there will be a next time we can rest assured, as long as Islam exists in this world.
Welcome home when you get here, God Bless you all, and the United States of America.
And to the republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible (until the Woodstock liberals came along) with liberty (same thing) and justice for all. (social justice if you're a NAACP peep)
Last U.S. combat convoy has left Iraq "Mosul, Iraq (CNN) -- The last U.S. brigade combat team in Iraq has left the country, a move that helps U.S. President Barack Obama reach his goal of 50,000 troops in the country by September 1.
Their departure leaves about 56,000 U.S. troops in the country, according to the U.S. military.
Capt. Christopher Ophardt, spokesman for the 4th Stryker Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, said the last of the 4,000 members of the unit crossed the border into Kuwait early Thursday.
A few hundred members stayed behind to finish administrative and logistical duties but will fly out of Baghdad later Thursday, Ophardt said
Much of the brigade departed more than a day ago, but the announcement was delayed for security reasons.
Their departure comes more than seven years after U.S. combat forces entered, though their departure does not signify the end of all U.S. combat forces in the country. continued at CNN.com:
OregonLive.com: "(AP) DENVER - A law that makes it illegal to lie about being a war hero is unconstitutional because it violates free speech, a federal judge ruled Friday as he dismissed a case against a Colorado man who claimed he rceived two military medals.
Rick Glen Strandlof claimed he was an ex-Marine who was wounded in Iraq and received the Purple Heart and Silver Star, but the militaryhad no record he ever served.
He was charged with violating the Stolen Valor Act, which makes it a crime punishable by up to a year in jail to falsely claim to have won a military medal.
U.S. District Judge Robert Blackburn dismissed the case and said thel aw is unconstitutional, ruling the government did not show it has a compelling reason to restrict that type of statement.
The barrage just doesn't stop, and I just don't know at what point is your government considered to be "gone off the ranch"?
Seems as if we're already there.
I guess though it's only natural a liberal activist judge would feel this way choosing to call prosecuting 'war hero fakes' un-constitutional.
Which then means lying to get elected becomes constitutionally protected free speech", and since most liberals are the ones who make their entire political careers on telling and thus 'living' lies, (as otherwise they'd be entirely un-electable, instead of 'mostly' unelectable) they'll be the one's who benefit.
That is of course in addition to the aid of massive, concerted ACORN led voter fraud we're now discovering from the 2008 election, which we all conservatives knew all about then, by the way. [Black panthers blocking voting stations ie: right sidebar]
Cases in point of Stolen Valor by liberals? John Kerry, Tom Harkin, Richard Blumenthal, the list goes on, and on, and on, and on.
This man though is by far 'the cake topper', as he's made a lifetimeout of his 4 staged Purple Hearts in record time back in Vietnam, acquiring one from shooting himself by firing into a rice container and getting rice shrapnel in his ass.
In all honesty, wehave some on the right too, including my own congressman Mark Kirk, and while he's served and served honorably, he too has somewhat embellished his military record, which was entirely unnecessary, seeing that he continues to serve. Which just goes to show these politicians lie about everything. So why not 'that' too?
This is also so they can run liberal candidates from the military who can then embellish their 'Iraq and Afghanistan' exploits into the next generation, creating a 'fake' liberal contingent of so called 'war heroes' to try and run against other Vets in the future who are 'usually conservative', and who are again, usually 'real heroes'
This way, should the be uncovered eventually, they won't be prosecuted, which usually occurs after they're elected.
So having now done this, they make sure 'lying to embellish one's already fake record and resume with 'war exploits' isn't illegal, which will likely cause a brand new 'flood' of liberal 'Iraq and Afghan heroes''
This in turn will create the need for 'fake awards and medals' for all these 'fake heroes' who will surely appear on the horizon, and now we see how Obama's stimulus works I guess!!
Now they're either mad at us because (A) we were right about Obama or (B) we were right about Bush or (C) All the above. Thank you thank you....we were all - right alright. Bush was and is a hero and Obama can't hold his Texas sized Jock.
I Also know this, that if they were half this civilized (which is still nothing from nothing for the most part) during the Bush war years and not aiding and abetting the Iraqi insurgency trying to get the elections effected the entire time, (which they successfully did at the expense of more dead U.S. and coalition soldiers), both wars would have been over in 2005.
As for Guantanamo.
Still open, yet no one complaining anywhere neither here nor overseas, not a freaking peep from the loon squads.... and so, these Muslim terrorists are down there RIGHT where they belonged in the first place, where Bush and Cheney first sent them all.
Yet not a solitary peep to be heard from Berkeley to Brussels, to Paris and back, nada.
Obama can't close it or get rid of it and why?
Because there's no other better way to deal with those killers everyone now seems to agree that they are than how Bush and Cheney were handling them, and now Obama Bin Biden and crew are just doing the same damn things.
That is except for "running and then throwing a bailout touchdown" after Bush "handed him the bail-out football" ironically as just enough American voters 'missed their tackles', which led to this moron's regrettable eventual election.
I liked things better the old way as at least I'd rather the world be scared sh**less of me than laughing at me.
The United States is likely to delay the withdrawal of the first large phase of combat troop from Iraq for at least a month after escalating bloodshed and political instability in the country.
The US Commanding General Ray Odierno had been due to give the order within 60 days of the general election held in Iraq on 7 March, when the cross-sectarian candidate Ayad Allawi edged out the incumbent leader, Nouri al-Maliki.
US officials had been prepared for delays in negotiations to form a new government, but now appear to have balked after Maliki's coalition aligned itself with the theocratic Shia bloc to the exclusion of Allawi, who attracted the bulk of the minority Sunni vote. There is also concern over interference from Iraq's neighbours, Iran, Turkey and Syria
With sectarian tensions rising, the al-Qaida fighters in Iraq and affiliated Sunni extremist groups have mounted bombing campaigns and assassinations around the country. The violence is widely seen as an attempt to intimidate all sides of the political spectrum and press home the message to the departing US forces that militancy remains a formidable foe.
General Odierno has kept a low profile since announcing the deaths of al-Qaida's two leaders in Iraq, Abu Omar al-Baghdadi and Abu Ayub al-Masri, who were killed in a combined Iraqi-US raid on 18 April. The operation was hailed then as a near fatal blow against al-Qaida, but violence has intensified ever since.
All US combat forces are due to leave Iraq by 31 August, a date the Obama administration is keen to observe as the US president sends greater reinforcements to fight the Taliban in Afghanistan – a campaign he has set apart from the Iraq war, by describing it as "just".
I guess all those CDS (Cheney derangement syndrome) Halliburton jokes and mental outbursts over the years from the far left were either a complete waste of time or Dick Cheney is still working more than the hurricane machine down in the basement, no?
Sometimes the left can come in handy, like this time when all I needed to do was scrounge up one of their BDS Photoshops from the Bush Era and just updated it with this group (except this time they're just doing the right thing like the last one, because this is all about feeding and taking care of our troops) it really makes it a lot easier some days ....
I mean, it's the same story that this company is really the only one huge enough to do the job and has jack shit to do with Dick Cheney getting rich, that is unless they just hand off the cash every election turnover to the next group of crooks...so I would expect that they would either
apologize or their guys are crooks too...which one will it be?
NOBODY is richer in America today than this democratic group in Congress, and Obama's wealth is secretly growing in some Kenyan bank you can bet yo ass.
May 6 (Bloomberg) -- KBR Inc. was selected for a no-bid contract worth as much as $568 million through 2011 for military support services in Iraq, the Army said.
The Army announced its decision yesterday only hours after the Justice Department said it will pursue a lawsuit accusing the Houston-based company of taking kickbacks from two subcontractors on Iraq-related work. The Army also awarded the work to KBR over objections from members of Congress, who have pushed the Pentagon to seek bids for further logistics contracts.
The Justice Department said the government will join a suit filed by whistleblowers alleging that two freight-forwarding firms gave KBR transportation department employees kickbacks in the form of meals, drinks, sports tickets and golf outings.
