Nice to finally see some palpable progress at the Ground Zero site, as it's nice to know the only things being built down there aren't 13 story monuments to the Muslim Killer Hijackers at the now defunct Burlington Coat factory.

Judging from all the news coming from down there the past couple months one would think that Muslim Victory Mosque is the only gosh damn thing happening down there.

The first of two steel “tridents” that once formed the base of the soaring towers was lowered into place at the 9/11 memorial, where they will stand sentinel as poignant reminders of the missing skyscrapers.

On a day when city and state leaders gathered to tout the progress in rebuilding the site, the arrival of the trident columns was an emotional reminder of what was lost nine years ago.

'The tridents are visual references to the towers that once stood at the World Trade Center,' said Mayor Bloomberg, who serves as chairman of the memorial foundation's board.

Salvaged from the wreckage of the north tower, the first of two 70-foot-tall sections of the massive columns that flared into three prongs was raised over the site by a crane as hundreds of hardhats looked on.

Held aloft, the trident, covered in shrink wrap, slowly spun as workers lowered it to its base. It will be located in the visitor's center, a glass building that will serve as the entrance to the 9/11 museum.

Memorial President Joe Daniels described the return as 'the resurrection of the tridents." continued at the New York Post

This is what he did yesterday, an excerpt from Pam Geller at Brietbart Big Peace today...

Barack Obama this week extended his “best wishes to Muslims in America and around the world” and wished them a “Ramadan Kareem.”

And he wrote, as he did in last year’s Ramadan message also, about “the principles that we hold in common, and Islam’s role in advancing justice, progress, tolerance, and the dignity of all human beings.” more

Now for what he's doing today before he heads onto another little 'mini' family Vaca' which I personally can't remember the last family vacation I really had with family since most are no longer here...

It's gotten to be so many we lost count, but I know next weekend's going to be the fifth family vacation in about 7 weeks, since I've ranted and railed on every single one personally on this blog.


That one's up at Martha's Vineyard, but this weekend can't get off to a good old fashioned 'Obama start' start until Obama has the Muslims over to the house for Ramadan dinner.

Swell.....remember though....he's not a Muslim, he's just celebrating 'all cultures'...just like he did skipping the decade old custom of the Christian pra....oops I mean downright canceled the damn thing, the once "vaunted" in our Old Christian Judeo America, National Day of Prayer breakfast a few months past.

Oh but he didn't 'cancel' it, wink wink .....a court did it for him, they appealed it here in Chicago (obama did) only 'cause they 'had' to. And now it's all tangled in courts, so this past one they issued a 'proclamation' but no official White house involvement in the National Day of Prayer.


No, he's not a "Muslim" at heart. My ass he isn't. Here's the actual video yesterday which I couldn't even watch, I really couldn't I can't stand him so much. Seriously.

...especially when he's heaping praise on Islam in our freaking names, and in America's name, which I happen to abhor.

Obama to host Ramadan meal - The Hill's Blog Briefing Room: "President Obama will host an iftar — the special evening meal observed during Ramadan — on Friday night in the White House dining room.

Obama participated in a similar gathering last year.

Celebrations like iftar dinners 'remind us of the principles that we hold in common, and Islam's role in advancing justice, progress, tolerance and the dignity of all human beings,' Obama wrote in a statement Wednesday.

'Ramadan is a celebration of a faith known for great diversity and racial equality ... a reminder that Islam has always been part of America and that American Muslims have made extraordinary contributions to our country.'

The dinner comes amid a growing controversy over the proposed construction of an Islamic cultural center in downtown Manhattan, near the site of the World Trade Center. A CNN poll released Wednesday found that 68 percent of the public opposes the project.

Meanwhile, the White House — which has made great efforts to reach out to the Muslim community — has been silent on the issue.

'This is rightly a matter for New York City and the local community to decide,' White House press secretary Robert Gibbs told reporters on Aug. 3.

Ramadan began on Wednesday and will end around Sept. 10

The Twin Towers are setting sail today.

This is pretty cool. This ship was made with 7½ tons of World Trade Center steel  from the Twin Towers, that was melted down and forged into the "stem bar," the part of the bow that cuts through the sea,  and is leaving NOLA today for it's maiden voyage en route to her New York commissioning on November 7th ....

Alex Jones better get  some "troofers"  over there as it looks like they're getting rid of the evidence forever...lol

Let The Flyover Cover-over Begin

This is what I said yesterday morning in the post covering this wackjob flyover at Ground Zero essentially yesterday in the jet known as "Air Force Obama The One" that basically costs $70,000 to operate an hour

So check this and tell me you wouldn't of thought the same thing as the folks that posted up the story beneath it as it occurred...buildings were evacuated because of this..... nice work Obama FAA probably making some commercial for the administration involving the Statue Of Liberty

Were this Bush's FAA the world news would be crawling all over it demanding the head person be fired.

Pretty accurate assessment I would have to say as now the Obama administration points fingers all over at one another essentially laying the blame at the feet of one of the few military people in the White house, so in Obama's administration the motto sure isn't " The buck stops here" but more like "The Chinese Borrows Us The Buck That We Pass Elsewhere".

Apparently this little cluster%uck cost the taxpayers of New York and American probably over at least a million if not two or three dollars..

So how was this for the super duper glamor shot they received that we had posted yesterday as well that is making the MSM news today.....

Owners drop Goofy "Freedom Tower" name Reverting to One World Trade Center Instead

Personally I was always against the renaming of the Ground Zero area in the first place all the way back here, as the only people that seemed to object to it remaining the same was the families of the victims who certainly have a strong voice but have also taken the position that they somehow own the tragedy and everything associated with it frankly.

And have always been in favor of rebuild the towers as they were only with the obvious safety improvements that would naturally emerge from the failures of the first one, which in my opinion would've resulted in a somewhat bionic version impervious mad Muslims and other nefarious freaks out to destroy them.

I even submitted a design during the initial contest suggesting the two towers be built with a small twist to the towers which ironically enough came close to resembling what they settled on, after the initial "Freedom tower" was changed to make it more structurally sound when the first design came back a bit flimsy so they decided to put the original design up on a pedestal coming up with final design below

Personally again I just get the point now as the entire project was supposed focused on this freedom idea and all that goofy bureaucratic crap and many polls have shown over the years that the people would much rather see the twin towers rebuilt as the ultimate middle fingers reaching across the Atlantic to our enemies letting them know we will not be intimidated and scared but sadly with the new president our enemies are licking their scraggly hair covered chops waiting for their next opportunity to take a whack at us/

So if they're gonn scrap the Freedom name then why not the whole goofy concept of this whole center they are trying to fanagle out of the deal and replace the shit was destroyed with essentially what was there to begin with in just a more modern twist, like this/
