So I suppose his friends and supporters shouldn't feel so bad because he treats them /us just as good or the same as he does others, for instance 3 dedicated border agents doing their jobs just too good as well as dedicated civil servants and long time friends like Lewis "Scooter" Libby.
If a pardon isn't issued on behalf of that man pertaining to his tainted witch hunt type prosecution that he was victim of, it'll be yet just one more pox on the crumbling legacy of this president who as of late has let down an awful lot of good people that supported him through thick and thin to say the least.When compared to the lengthy slime covered 140 person pardon list issued by Slick Willie on his departure from office, a measly Libby pardon would be the equivalent as pardoning Captain Kangaroo for double parking in front of Mr Greenjeans shop too long.
Libby Becomes Inmate No. 28301-016:
"WASHINGTON (AP) - For years he was known as chief of staff to Vice President Dick Cheney and assistant to President Bush. On Wednesday, I. Lewis 'Scooter' Libby became federal inmate No. 28301-016.
Libby, who was convicted in March of lying and obstructing an investigation into the leak of a CIA operative's identity, faces 2 1/2 years in prison.
The assignment of an inmate number by the U.S. Bureau of Prisons represents another step on the road to prison. Inmate numbers stay with prisoners even after their release.
Libby, however, is hoping that an appeals court will intervene and put the sentence on hold before he is ordered to surrender." read more
