Dad of a fallen Marine perseveres against protests at military funerals / Westboro Victims

I reserve hatred for very very few of God's creations on this earth, as the emotion is a wasteful one that drains your "well being" right out of you like a cancer. But this Westboro Church hate group along with Muslim terrorists get the honor as I "HATE" these people, I hate what they stand for, and I hate that they abuse the free speech clause to harass the very people who live and die to give them that freedom to abuse, as these sackless wonders do every time they appear at a funeral.

They were here in this area not too long ago, boy, you talk about wanting to "take your car and drive it right through them all like bowling pins", all I could think of at the moment of seeing them all was that scene in the Blues Brothers.

This is basically what I saw through my windshield that day although this obviously wasn't it,  

but boy did I wish at that moment I had the "missing brains" to run em all over.

Then I thought of the jail time, and thought better of it.

I won't go as far to say I pray for these people in a positive way because I don't, I do however pray for their collective disappearance from this earth, but aside from that, not much in good will in their direction from my world.

I do pray daily for the families of the soldiers fighting evil out there each day, and especially those who these moronic nimrods choose as their targets for their misguided perception of the scriptures and their meanings.

If there IS INDEED a hell, these people will be populating it soon enough, that I do pray for as well. And to think they actually won a court case against this man and his family is the biggest bastardization of the law to come out of that loony circuit court and now the Supreme's will have to right this wrong and have agreed to hear the case.

Albert Snyder, whose son, Lance Cpl. Matthew Snyder, was killed in Iraq, learned Friday that a federal appeals court is requiring him to pay more than $16,000 in legal fees to the Westboro Baptist Church, a Christian fundamentalist group that demonstrates during military funerals to gain attention for its antigovernment, antihomosexual message. The group rallied at Matthew Snyder’s funeral in March 2006 in Westminster, Md., chanting antigay slogans and carrying signs such as “Thank God for dead soldiers,” says Albert Snyder’s attorney, Sean Summers.

The group was protesting about 30 feet from the church’s main entrance, and Mr. Snyder had to enter through a separate entrance, Mr. Summers says.

Snyder subsequently sued the Westboro group for emotional distress and won a $5 million judgment. But on appeal, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals reversed, finding in favor of protecting the protesters' free-speech rights. About three weeks ago, the Supreme Court agreed to take the case and is expected to hear it in the fall. (Last year, the high court had declined to take up the issue.) Meanwhile, the circuit court has ordered Snyder, a salesman, to pay the church’s court expenses.

Snyder, of York, Pa., told Fox News on Tuesday that he would not pay the Westboro Baptist Church 'until I hear from the Supreme Court.'

“It’s fair to say that they are not getting any Christmas cards from Mr. Snyder,” adds Summers, in a phone interview. “He obviously thinks they are despicable and doesn’t understand why they would target him.”"  continued

Rielle Hunter pictures in GQ are "repulsive," made her cry -- now see the video of the shoot

It goes without saying that Hunter, who is John Edwards' love interest outside of his marriage (just in case you're Osama's cave mate and they canceled your New York Times sub...) is a homewrecker, but that tag cuts 2 ways. As Edwards is even more responsible for the relationship if you were to ask me, and my reasoning why is because he was obviously then in the position of being the man "who women swooned over" and payed her to be by his side to sink his hooks into her, which to me shows women can and are as shallow as men often times when it comes to love interests.

But firstly, he's freaking married,  and as we all know to a woman who's dying of cancer. He obviously has no soul but then again he's a lawyer so that should come as no surprise.

So now we all know she's nothing more than an opportunistic tramp, one who gives all respectable women a bad name even more than previously due to her "skank-o - rama" layout with GQ magazine the whole world was introduced to today.

These are the tamest shots really, and don't get me wrong, I'm not Gay, I like to look at beautiful women like the next guy. And she's no skank, just a tramp. lol    So if you like myself have trouble believing that Hunter was repulsed at anytime during the photo shoot, you can see for yourself what a lie that is

That seemed to be the kind of day Rielle Hunter was having Monday, after photos from her sensational GQ interview hit the Internet and went worldwide. On 'The View,' Barbara Walters said she had talked to John Edwards's former mistress, and she was 'in tears.'

'She found the photographs repulsive,' said the veteran ABC broadcaster. 'When I asked if that was the case, why did she pose the way she did' -- big white shirt, strand of pearls, bare legs curled up on a bed -- 'she said she trusted Mark Seliger, whom she said is a brilliant photographer, and quote, 'I went with the flow.' ' Of all the photos Seliger took, Hunter told Walters she never imagined GQ would run more than, say, one sexy one. 'She cried for two hours,' Walters said.

Seliger, a top portraitist for the big glossy magazines, could not be reached for comment, and his office referred us to GQ -- which happily responded:

'I have no idea how she feels about the photos,' said Editor-in-Chief Jim Nelson. 'but I think you can see how comfortable she was at the shoot by watching the video posted at gq.com.'

Well Joe.....It's the same old song and dance from people put up on pedestals in modern society goes all the way back to ancient times, treating, mere mortal people like Gods who are about the furthest from it as anyone could ever be, just as you and I.

They're no better than you nor I, but in many cases I'd have to say they're absolutely worse, mostly because I'm sure temptations are endless and I couldn't say with any certainty I wouldn't do the same darn thing. I would certainly hope not and never have, nor have any of my friends of family, and I'm sure yours either. 

When it comes to mixing obscene wealth with false adulation of false idols, it seems the devil always wins. You'd think societies would learn where to place values as many roadmaps exist for what NOT to do, particularly in the entertainment and pro sports fields, but we never seem to follow them.
