Ding Dong The Dick Is Dead.....Dem Rep. John Murtha, Iraq war traitor, dies at 77

I collaborated for a year with an Iraq war vet's father and friend who pens over at Psycmeister.blogspot on a blog called "Murtha Must Go", although the final post is quite eloquent,  you can imagine the news that Murtha has passed away isn't met with any tears from this American.

However, if interested you can go there to see how I and my fellow writers really felt about "Jihad Jack" the earmark  Pork King of Congress over the years, a man who's ethics, or lack thereof, (which  his involvement with ABSCAM and decades of pork politics showed), will be discussed for decades to come as the king of Fleecing the American people.

A one time goodstanding U.S. Marine, Jihad Jack lost his membership to the  "brotherhood" most  would reiterate while simultaneously angering most Vets and thinking Americans when he falsely accused his own brethren of "cold blooded murder" in Haditha Iraq at the height of the Iraq war.  Playing BDS politics with our soldiers, thus prolonging the conflict for political gain which the dems accomplished, with the election of the boy Messiah,  and for that betrayal  to our soldiers  and country, he will answer to his maker.

But unlike the left when conservatives fall ill and pass on, I'll wait until he's buried to celebrate the loss.

And celebrate I eventually will his absence from congress hereafter, and for that reason today America just became a better place, however for his family I mourn their sad loss as he was a human being most of the time. 

However to Jack I say this in closing....."you being a Marine knew damn well you NEVER EVER leave your men on the beach, you &(%&#%@ but you did it anyway. For that you'll be remembered alright.

Rep. John Murtha, Iraq war critic, dies at 77:

"HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) - U.S. Rep. John Murtha, an influential critic of the Iraq War whose congressional career was shadowed by questions about his ethics, died Monday. He was 77.

The Pennsylvania Democrat had been suffering complications from gallbladder surgery. He died at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, Va., spokesman Matthew Mazonkey said.

In 1974 Murtha, then an officer in the Marine Reserves, became the first Vietnam War combat veteran elected to Congress. One of Congress' most hawkish Democrats, he wielded considerable clout for two decades as the ranking Democrat on the House subcommittee that oversees Pentagon spending." continued

Rep. Henry Waxman, D-Calif., is a key climate change player. He went to Copenhagen last year. Last week, we asked him about the $2,200-a-day bill for room and food.

Congress's Travel 50% Jump Since Crooked Democrats took control of Congress two years ago.

This travel report and the numbers it presents speak loud and clear for themselves, quite simply our congressional leaders are using our tax dollars to fund extravagent travel all around the world at a time when the people are being forced into food lines and other unheard of sacrifices in the modern era, all due to democrats causing a nationwide housing meltdown that in turn caused a worldwide banking meltdown.

So instead of these people facing prison time for their actions, they're collectively traveling around the world on bullshit junkets that have nothing to do with what they were elected to do. Tell me why a congressman from a town in Illinois with 5000 people finds it necessary to go to Afghanistan for a 20 minute meeting while stopping in Italy and Paris on the way and then writing it off to the taxpayers to the tune of $22,000.

Congress's Travel Tab Swells - WSJ.com: "WASHINGTON -- Spending by lawmakers on taxpayer-financed trips abroad has risen sharply in recent years, a Wall Street Journal analysis of travel records shows, involving everything from war-zone visits to trips to exotic spots such as the Galápagos Islands.

The spending on overseas travel is up almost tenfold since 1995, and has nearly tripled since 2001, according to the Journal analysis of 60,000 travel records. Hundreds of lawmakers traveled overseas in 2008 at a cost of about $13 million. That's a 50% jump since Democrats took control of Congress two years ago.


The cost of so-called congressional delegations, known among lawmakers as 'codels,' has risen nearly 70% since 2005, when an influence-peddling scandal led to a ban on travel funded by lobbyists, according to the data."

Lawmakers say that the trips are a good use of government funds because they allow members of Congress and their staff members to learn more about the world, inspect U.S. assets abroad and forge better working relationships with each other. The travel, for example, includes official visits to American troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The Journal analysis, based on information published in the Congressional Record, also shows that taxpayer-funded travel is a big and growing perk for lawmakers and their families. Some members of Congress have complained in recent months about chief executives of bailed-out banks, insurance companies and car makers who sponsored corporate trips to resorts or used corporate jets for their own travel.

Although complete travel records aren't yet available for 2009, it appears that such costs continue to rise. The Journal analysis shows that the government has picked up the tab for travel to destinations such as Jamaica, the Virgin Islands and Australia's Great Barrier Reef.

Lawmakers frequently bring along spouses on congressional trips. If they take commercial flights, they have to buy tickets for spouses. If they fly on government planes -- as they usually do -- their spouses can fly free.

Paris Air Show

In mid-June, Sen. Daniel Inouye (D., Hawaii) led a group of a half-dozen senators and their spouses on a four-day trip to France for the biennial Paris Air Show. An itinerary for the event shows that lawmakers flew on the Air Force's version of the Boeing 737, which costs $5,700 an hour to operate. They stayed at the Intercontinental Paris Le Grand Hotel, which advertises rooms from $460 a night.

The lawmakers were invited to a dinner party at the U.S. Embassy and had cocktails at a private party at the Eiffel Tower. Mr. Inouye attended a dinner sponsored by the Aerospace Industries Association, a U.S. trade group. Another senator on the trip, Alabama Republican Sen. Richard Shelby, took a cruise on the River Seine with defense-industry executives and elected officials from Alabama, Mississippi and Florida.

Renovating Private Parking Garages for U.S. House Will Cost Taxpayers $156,322 Per Congressman

This is the type of thing that needs getting done in a time of extreme need with Americans losing jobs left and right, seeing century old corporations being sandbagged by an out of control president who doesn't know what the hell he's doing, just like the also out of control congress had hoped and planned for?

The kind of project at the top of their things to do lists' there on "Crapitol" Hill as I call it, are one's like this one making sure they and their staffs have a nice new cozy place to park their expensive taxpayer and lobbyists funded cars each day, with this little project chiming in to the tune of $156,322 per congressional crook at a total of 700 plus million dollars if you can believe that one.

And that's not to build the place from scratch, but just to renovate an already standing and functioning structure while the roads we all drive on are in worse shape then the damn Oregon trail in most parts of the country......swell.

CNSNews.com - "Washington (CNSNews.com) – As it is considering legislation that would cap carbon emssions and significanly increase energy prices of U.S. consumers in the name of controlling global warming, the U.S. House of Representatives is also considering spending $68 million to renovate two parking garages that are used exclusively by members of Congress and their staff.

Given that there are only 435 members of the House, the renovation of these exclusive garages would cost $156,322 per congressmen.

The garages are just south of the House office buildings that form part of the complex surrounding the U.S. Capitol. They are also adjacent to a station of the Washington Metro subway system that members of Congress and their staff could use to get to work if they did not want to drive a car and emit carbon into the atmosphere.

Terrell Dorn, the director of physical infrastructure issues for the Government Accountability Office (GAO), on May 6, testified before the House Committee on House Administration about plans by the Architect of the Capitol (AOC) to renovate the East and West garages, which serve several House buildings.

Approximately $38 million of the request is attached to a project to overhaul the Cannon House Office Building at an overall cost of $753 m" continued

The absolute lowest and scummiest thing any real man in this world could possibly do to his wife and kids, besides killing them or fathering a child with one's own daughter, which I think I actually remember one of these politicians doing at one time or another..You know, incest, what liberals like to think is family hour humor like this skit from SNL accusing Todd Palin of such with no basis whatsoever from the torrid media scorched earth campaign run against this family that makes Edwards look like the pile of scum he really is.

Now her words and actions have unleashed the beast so to speak and she's off to the paternity races to cash in that platinum chip, while Edwards himself in facing indictment for paying her off with campaign donations. What a real American family they all turned out to be.

Rielle Hunter previously refused to allow DNA testing on baby Frances, born in February 2008. Edwards, even after the admitted affair, insisted he wasn't the father.

Miller on Arlen Specter & Ira Einhorn: "Long before he became one of the most liberal Republicans in the Senate — and the target of Congressman Pat Toomey's GOP primary challenge — Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania demonstrated a knack for notoriety. In 1964, as a member of the Warren Commission, he invented the 'single-bullet theory' to explain how Lee Harvey Oswald assassinated President Kennedy. Conspiracy junkies have obsessed over him ever since. (In Oliver Stone's movie JFK, Kevin Costner's character labels Specter 'an ambitious junior counselor' behind 'one of the grossest lies ever forced on the American people.')

"Between serving on the Warren Commission and becoming a senator, Specter was twice elected district attorney in Philadelphia, where he earned a tough-on-crime reputation. His most famous case, however, came in 1979, when he was in private practice and thinking about running for the Senate. A man named Ira Einhorn, better known as the "Unicorn," had been arrested for the murder of his girlfriend; she had been missing for a year and a half when police found her mummified corpse squeezed into a trunk hidden in Einhorn's closet.

Einhorn was a celebrated leftist and is credited with helping found Earth Day. He also had strong ties to Philadelphia elites — a group of people Specter was cultivating for his prospective Senate campaign when he agreed to become Einhorn's lawyer.

At an arraignment, the government demanded a $100,000 bail for Einhorn. Before Judge William Marutani, Specter called this "excessively excessive" and insisted on a reduced figure. Marutani wondered if Einhorn might "split for parts unknown." He mentioned Norway as a possible destination. "I have to disagree with your last statement," replied Specter. "Anybody is as likely to go to Norway as anybody else." Through the future senator's efforts, Einhorn's bail was dropped to $40,000. The accused man only had to put out ten percent of it in cash to secure his release.

As things turned out, Specter was proven correct: Einhorn didn't flee for Norway. He went to Sweden instead, slipping out of the United States shortly before his murder trial was scheduled to begin. Einhorn remained a fugitive until 1997, when police found him living in France under a phony name with his Swedish wife. He was eventually extradited to the United States. In 2002, he was convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison.

Specter, who quit the case soon after the bail hearing and rarely has spoken about it since, says he has no regrets about representing Einhorn or demanding the reduced bail. "If I had been D.A., I would have had him detained — there would have been no bail at all," he told me in an interview last year.

But by 1979, the tough-on-crime prosecutor had become a tough-on-prosecutor criminal defender. Perhaps he was just doing his job. It must be remembered, however, that his job, for which he volunteered possibly to curry favor with potential political supporters, involved reducing bail for a murderer who fled from justice.

CHICAGO SUN-TIMES :: Gov. Blagojevich: "A congressional ethics board has launched a preliminary inquiry into U.S. Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. (D-Ill), related to President Obama’s vacant Senate seat and the corruption investigation of ousted Gov. Rod Blagojevich, the Chicago Sun-Times has learned.

The Office of Congressional Ethics, formed just last year, voted in late March to conduct a “preliminary review,” of actions surrounding Jackson’s bid to be appointed to the Senate seat, according to documents released to parties involved in the probe. The committee launched the action Thursday — the same day Blagojevich was indicted on corruption charges."
