Bin Laden Son Says Family Detained in Iran Seeks Possible U.S. Sanctuary -

Bloomberg: "A son of Osama bin Laden said about 20 members of his family stranded in Iran are seeking sanctuary in a third country and that the U.S. may agree to accept them.

Omar bin Laden, the al-Qaeda leader’s fourth son, said in an interview with Al Arabiya television that Iran is refusing to allow his relatives to go to Saudi Arabia. Shiite Muslim- dominated Iran is a regional rival of Sunni-ruled Saudi Arabia. Al-Qaeda, a Sunni group, is hostile to Iran.

“The Americans offered to help them out of Iran and even hinted at the possibility of receiving them in the U.S.,” he said in the interview, which was aired late yesterday and posted on the Dubai-based channel’s website. British sniper nails two Taliban from world record 8,120 feet -Booya!

Sounds like a fun reality show, to see how many mad, murdering Muslims can be picked off by snipers in Afghanistan and Iraq. In fact they could turn it into a military channel reality show, and the teams can be broken into their respective Taliban hunting countries to see how many camel riding, cave dwelling terrorists can be knocked off in an hour.

A British sniper set a world sharpshooting record by taking out two Taliban soldiers in Afghanistan from more than a mile and a half away -- a distance so great, experts say the terrorists wouldn't have even heard the shots.

Craig Harrison killed the two insurgents from an astounding distance of 8,120 feet -- or 1.54 miles -- in Helmand Province last November firing an Accuracy International L11583 long-range rifle.

'The first round hit a machine-gunner in the stomach and killed him outright,' said Harrison, a corporal of horse in the British Army's Household Cavalry, the equivalent of a sergeant in the American military."

"The second insurgent grabbed the weapon and turned as my second shot hit him in the side. He went down, too," Harrison told the Sunday Times of London. 

The shots -- measured via GPS -- surpassed the previous record held by Canadian Army Cpl. Rob Furlong, who killed an al Qaeda gunman from 7,972 feet in 2002. 

Harrison's shots were roughly equal to the distance between the Statue of Liberty and Battery Park.

Experts called Harrison's sharp shooting as perfect as it gets.  read more

Nuclear Summit Logo Muslim Crescent Moon? Sure looks the part

I didn't catch it but someone did and everyone that reads this site regularly knows how I feel about the current administration which places the probability of this being intentional to me, like 55%.

If it isn't, then what the hell is it?

I'm a graphic designer so it's probably a signal of some Muslim meaning to someone about something because there's no other explanation for it being there, it's not even a normal design element I would  even use for that reason only, moons are for loons, that's my policy seriously.It's physical step that drops down, so it's even freaking wheelchair accessible from the back for the crippled suicide bomber guest speakers I guess. (I'm crippled so don't hassle me ;>)

Here's another one little closer, it's just a thing someone like me designing it would think of right away, they either obviously don't think about that stuff, just don't care, or it is exactly that, a hat tip to Islam

You can plainly see that yes it's a crescent moon alright. A nod from the Muslim born Obama to his Muslim handlers letting them know the time to strike is near? lolol but I'm not happy about the design choice obviously, put it that way. 

This is what I would have done with it once I realized it looks like a Muslim crescent, because that's the first thing that would have crossed my mind seeing the whole thing is necessary because of radical Muslims. Close off the circle and the thing looks even better I think.

Yes I know it was an International conference for the nations who DID show up. But NO ISLAMIC NATIONS ATTENDED yet the logo LOOKS "IS freakin LAMIC"...they could have thought about it is all anyone is saying. We did.

Consistent also is a report this week that says terms with religious connotations, such as 'Islamic extremists' and 'jihad,' will no longer be used in National Security Council documents.

The Associated Press reports the aim is to emphasize the White House desire to use more sensitive language and broaden the relationship beyond war. The phrase 'war on terror' was also dropped. 'Do you want to think about the US as the nation that fights terrorism or the nation you want to do business with? ' Pradeep Ramamurthy, an NSC staffer, told AP. It also reports business leaders from more than 40 countries are coming to Washington for an 'entrepreneurship summit' for Muslim businesses.

Notably absent this week is Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The deep freeze in his relationship with Obama is a direct casualty of Obama's courting of Muslims, which includes intense pressure on Israel to make major concessions to Palestinians. So this is what change looks like."
