It was his wife's birthday and they were just sitting out there in the crowd enjoying the game like there's not a problem in the world. I know, it's her birthday, so give them some slack, yea....I'm sure the choking pelicans and marine life don't mind....

Vice President Joe Biden and wife Dr. Jill Biden celebrated her 59th birthday, which is Saturday, at the Stanley Cup Game 4 Friday night. Willow Grove raised Jill Biden, a huge Flyers fan, who hangs a Danny Briere jersey on her door at home for good luck, wore a black Briere #48 t-shirt. The couple, and at least a dozen Secret Service agents, were in Super Box 13 at center ice
Well at least he didn't fly her up to Broadway for the night at our expense costing a hundred G's to "keep a promise" he made with someone else's money, just like his entire life has been, at someone else's expense. You know who.....

From the Trib....After a disastrous first-period defensive effort Friday night from which they couldn't recover, the Blackhawks find themselves back where they started in the Stanley Cup finals — even with the Flyers — after a 5-3 loss in Game 4 at the Wachovia Center.Three lapses led to goals in the opening period as the Flyers have stormed back after losing the first two games to knot the best-of-seven series 2-2 with Game 5 Sunday at the United Center.Mike Richards, Matt Carle, Claude Giroux, Ville Leino and Jeff Carter provided the offense and Michael Leighton earned the victory in goal as the Flyers did their job and won both games at home. The Hawks rallied from a 4-1 deficit with two goals in the third but couldn't bail out goaltender Antti Niemi. Patrick Sharp scored in the first and Dave Bolland and Brian Campbell in the third for the Hawks.
The Hawks are 13-18 all-time when splitting the first four games of a postseason series. continued at the trib here
