Local Dog Gets Tongue Caught in Shredder

I never gave this much thought having one under my desk, (no, not Monica Lewinsky) but I guess pets get into all kinds of things, and a shredder's entrance slot is as good as any, unfortunately.

After this article more will be looking for desktop shredders you can bet.

But, it's not just the animals getting caught either, some people have managed it as well.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission reported 31 finger amputations and other finger injuries from paper shredders from January 2000 to December 2003, the Spokesman Review of Spokane, Wash., reported.

I really can't stand Letterman, but it's not too good for a human to be performing "stupid pet tricks" like this.

Funny thing is the dog looks happy as hell!

He apparently digs his new "forked tongue" which probably makes him popular with the lady dogs.   :)

I'm not making light, I had a beagle named Pistol for 9 years so I love dogs, but this is kind of funny, sorry. I mean he looks happier than I do  lol

And one more quick thing.....Here's a tip for folks slow on the uptake out there, don't stick your irreplaceable fingers in a $20 shredder, it's not too smart.

NBC Chicago: "In an attempt to get free, a Park Forest pooch bit off his own tongue after getting it caught in a paper shredder over New Year's weekend, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

It's an unsettling reminder of the dangers of machines, many which have settings to automatically turn on when objects -- like the fingers of small children or the tongues of curious animals -- get near.

The latest incident happened over the New Year's weekend, when Pat Taylor was watching her daughter's dog, Caine.

Taylor said she found Caine with his tongue 'three inches into it when I pulled the plug.'"

Holy WTF Batman!! 3 in 4 high schoolers Cannot Name first U.S. President!!

This isn't even funny as kids seemingly become dumber and dumber the longer they're in school today, and is now an obvious reason we've now come to where we are in this country, no longer umber one in the world across the board as when we were kids..

This would be mostly thanks to high powered liberal teachers unions who can't even make sure they hire teachers without an agenda other than teaching who successfully show and TEACH the students of today know how count much less teach them all who the damn father of this great country was and is!!

My apologies to all the fine hard working teachers and school personnel who do give your hearts and souls everyday, as I'm obviously not speaking to you here in this rant, and thanks to buddy Ed R. for nudging me to make that clearer here in the post...

Can you imagine not knowing the answer to that question in this day and age, especially with all the information at our fingertips in a second's notice?? Not to mention us learning it in the third grade as I did 35 years ago for pete's sake, much less making it to high school and not knowing it, like the study below indicates!

And here's a hint kiddies.....it wasn't Karl Marx or Vladimir Lenin, no matter how badly many of today's teachers, particularly liberal college professors and today's president wish it were true.

Tulsa World: "Oklahoma high school students are ill informed on the constitution, and only one in four can name the first president of the United States, according to a recent survey.

The survey was conducted to find the students' level of basic civil knowledge. It took 10 questions from the test candidates for U.S. citizenship take. It was sponsored by the Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs think tank to coincide with Constitution Day on Thursday.

The passing rate for Oklahoma high school students was 2.8 percent, compared to 92 percent of candidates for U.S. citizenship.

'In that miracle at Philadelphia 222 years ago, the Framers gave us a document which they hoped would secure our freedoms,' OCPA Vice President Brandon Dutcher said in a statement. 'But they knew that only a well-informed citizenry could remain free. If these survey results are any indication, we are very much a nation at risk.'

Party host busted after guest's car enters NY home

My Way News Police say a 20-year-old party host has been arrested on charges of serving alcohol to an underage guest who later crashed his airborne Jeep into the second floor of a New York home.

Talk about an unwanted guest, and what I'm trying to figure out is how this nimrod managed to get his Jeep airborne enough to lodge it in the second floor of a two story home on his way home from a party which didn't do his buddy any favors as he's been busted for having the party....

Hunter Wootten was arrested Monday on a charge of unlawfully dealing with a child. A message left at his home in Westhampton Beach was not immediately returned.

Actually this is how he did it for you home adventurists who wish to duplicate the feat....joke....

Police say 20-year-old Adam Clark attended Wootten's party before taking a speed bump so fast his Jeep vaulted into the air and into the East Moriches (MOR'-ih-ches) house on Long Island. No one was seriously hurt.

What a dumb ass, no?

The vehicle ripped a giant hole in the side of the house and fell into a foyer, landing with its headlights pointing skyward.

Now you agree?

Clark apologized for the wreck at his arraignment Saturday on drunken driving and other charges."

He'll have about 10,to 20,000 more thank you's for a local lawyer and the court system in his future..... too bad for just having a few too many, not to mention he's lucky he and others aren't dead today.

The American Populace Gets "Stupider & Stupider"

The dumbing down of America continues, and this week was certainly no disappointment, as Politico took to the American streets to keep proving this phenomenon, particularly now that Jay Leno and his Jaywalking episodes no longer exist to document and showcase some of the saddest failures of the liberal run American educational system in their most ignorant glory.
