Obama's War Against Governor Jindahl Doing Barry's Job Continues as 'Obumble' Halts Berm Dredging

The proof is mounting that Obama's in control alright, in control of allowing this crisis to continue until they can extract whatever they're seeking from it's continuance since they're not interested in allowing the LA governor to make Obummer look bad as he's continued to do.

They just approved it on June 2nd.

WDSU New Orleans NEW ORLEANS -- The federal government is shutting down the dredging that was being done to create protective sand berms in the Gulf of Mexico.

The berms are meant to protect the Louisiana coastline from oil. But the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Department has concerns about where the dredging is being done.

Plaquemines Parish President Billy Nungesser, who was one of the most vocal advocates of the dredging plan, has sent a letter to President Barack Obama, pleading for the work to continue.

Nungesser said the government has asked crews to move the dredging site two more miles farther off the coastline.

"Once again, our government resource agencies, which are intended to protect us, are now leaving us vulnerable to the destruction of our coastline and marshes by the impending oil," Nungesser wrote to Obama. "Furthermore, with the threat of hurricanes or tropical storms, we are being put at an increased risk for devastation to our area from the intrusion of oil.

Nungesser has asked for the dredging to continue for the next seven days, the amount of time it would take to move the dredging operations two miles and out resume work.

Work is scheduled to halt at midnight Wednesday.

Why else has not a single recommendation sent to BP from the public at large, 80,000 submissions, not been viable nor used to 'plug the damn hole' and I don't mean Obama's pie hole or Lady Gaga's public holes either.

Because the 'powers that be' aren't interested in stopping it quickly or they would have done it. Nor do they seem to interested in mitigating the damages as we now know they don't care, they want to exploit this as an excuse to run over the voters and LA indigenous population to usher in trillions of dollars of profits in the so called 'greening of America'.

They hold many of the patents and since the 'global warming train' crashed they needed another way and quick.

NJ teens sue over 'God Bless America' ejection

I'm not into forcing people to sing the National Anthem, God Bless America or anything else for that matter..

However, that doesn't mean I didn't get a kick out of seeing these punks getting the boot from Private Property mind you for refusing to sing God Bless America at a minor league baseball game..

What I do mind, is then of course comes the frivolous lawsuit being filed by the whiny bitch teens through the opportunistic ACLU I'm sure who never misses a beat when it comes to whizzing in the eye of America and what it stands for about 80% of the time.

In a nutshell.......

"Nobody sits during the singing of 'God Bless America' in my stadium," the lawsuit quotes Cetnar as saying. "Now the get the (expletive) out of here."

Cetnar denied saying that: "Never, never did that ever happen."

Cetnar said he hasn't seen the lawsuit, but called the boys' account "a huge fabrication."

Whatever they did, I'm betting they deserved to get the boot because 5000 other people didn't get shown the door.

My Way News "TRENTON, N.J. (AP) TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - Three teenagers who say they were tossed from a New Jersey ballpark over their refusal to stand during the song "God Bless America" are suing the minor league Newark Bears.

The boys argue that their constitutional rights were violated when they were asked to leave Newark's Bears and Eagles Riverfront Stadium on June 29 by Bears' president and co-owner Thomas Cetnar.

Cetnar acknowledged the boys were asked to leave but declined to say why. He also has denied making some statements attributed to him in the lawsuit.

The boys - Millburn High seniors Bryce Gadye and Nilkumar Patel, both 17, and junior Shaan Mohammad Khan, 16 - sued in federal court on Friday seeking unspecified damages.

According to the lawsuit, the boys were seated behind home plate when the song began playing. Once it ended, they say Cetnar approached them yelling.

"Nobody sits during the singing of 'God Bless America' in my stadium," the lawsuit quotes Cetnar as saying. "Now the get the (expletive) out of here."

Cetnar denied saying that: "Never, never did that ever happen."

Cetnar said he hasn't seen the lawsuit, but called the boys' account "a huge fabrication."

The boys are being represented by Bryce Gadye's father, Ross, who said the boys weren't protesting the song and no one asked them to stand.

"The boys weren't trying to make any political statements, they just didn't get up," he said. "No one gave them an ultimatum. The song was sung, it was finished, then they were thrown out."

"God Bless America," written by Irving Berlin in 1918, was played at big league ballparks throughout the country when baseball resumed after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, and has remained a fixture at New York Yankees games.

In July, the Yankees and New York City settled a lawsuit with a fan who said he was ejected from Yankee Stadium by police after he left his seat to use the bathroom during the playing of "God Bless America." The city did not admit liability in the settlement, but agreed to give the fan $10,001 and pay $12,000 in legal fees. The Yankees changed their policy, and fans at the team's new stadium are allowed to move freely during the song.

Gadye declined to let his son be interviewed, saying he was concerned about his safety over reaction to the lawsuit, which was first reported in The Star-Ledger of Newark.

"They've been getting all kinds of mixed reaction," he said. "Both gung-ho and 'We want to kill you.'"

"I think what makes it so horrible is that they were publicly humiliated for exercising a right that was guaranteed to them by the United States Constitution," Gadye said.

The sides differ on talks they had after the incident.

Ross Gadye said he met with general manager Mark Skeels and James Wankmiller, a co-owner, following the incident. He said they apologized and offered and free tickets, but Gadye said the boys wanted an apology from Cetnar, who was not at the meeting, and sued when there was no resolution.

Wankmiller, who declined to talk about whether the boys were asked to leave the ballpark and why, said they offered to meet with Gadye's son and the other boys and never heard back from them. He said it boiled down to money.

"We offered to sit with him and find out what his beef was and he asked for money," Wankmiller said. "That was about it."

Neither side would respond to the other's version of how the talks played out.

Even if the boys win their lawsuit, it's unclear if they'll get much money from the minor league team. Developer Marc Berson sold the team to California-based Bases Loaded group last year after the team filed for bankruptcy.

Smokers Being Held At Gunpoint from 3 Directions Like Deja Vu All Over Again

It's like a Mexican standoff with all guns pointed at the heads of smokers, a group of which I belonged to for many years until contracting Multiple Sclerosis and then quitting the last time these crooks in Crook County Illinois put their loaded guns to the smokers heads for tax money to toss away on their welfare bullshit.

At that time sending a pack of cigarettes to a higher price than Marijuana brings in many cities in joint per cigarette ratio, around 8-$10 a pack in the City proper.

Those guns being pointed by first by criminal state lawmakers and breakers, then criminal Federal lawmakers and breakers, and the finally the dangers presented to ones self by the health ramifications from smoking or otherwise known as a slow suicide, thus completing the deadly south of the border like standoff pictured here.

Now they're at it again courtesy of the highway robbery we're all of a sudden becoming accustomed to seeing from the master deceiver who promised hope and change but instead has delivered bullshit mixed in with more bullshit meaning more of the same old same old crap from Washington with a cute new Communist twist to it.

It makes me sick how lawmakers throw away money like Barney Frank at a Gay Pride parade in San FranFreako for their miserable welfare and social engineering crap that decimates their budgets year after year, along with the billions wasted on the medical and legal care of the illegals in every state of the union.

Particularly the most ignorant ones with the Welcome Wagons' parked at their borders by designating themselves sanctuary destinations for the new crops of "undocumented workers" or whatever the **** they're calling them this week.]

So Much Crap , Where To Begin.. Man Fined For Displaying The FIRST Amendment At Place Of Business

This is the first I've heard of this deal until today, so apparently now a person cannot even post a copy of the very first amendment of the Constitution inside one's own place of business?

What the hell is this nutjob country coming to, every time we turn around some frickin' illegal or otherwise citizen or immigrant is whining and complaining about one thing or another, and you can pretty much guess with one try what particular group of immigrants are usually the source of about 90% of these challenges and complaints

As if that wasn't enough for us to deal with as we awaken each day to protect our beloved country, we've somehow accumulated this disaffected and misguided breed of homegrown and bred "anti America Americans", who are this liberal,"everything about America sucks" legion of citizen that somehow was dropped from an alien ship docked at Area 51 one night 20 years ago or who the hell knows where they all came from.

One thing I do know is that anyone in this country that would bring a lawsuit against another American for hanging this in their own place of business should have the living snot kicked from their very existence and then shot like the troublemaking rabblerousers they are. I know we can't do that and remain a civilized nation and people, but to just fantasize about doing it to these subversive nimrods just brings a smile to my face for a brief second before I fill with rage yet again and pull out my electronic Uzi and start typing away.

Another kicker in this story is it's the ACLU defending the guy, actually for once doing something to aid America for a change as opposed to tearing her down which they're usually engaged in.

City: American flag OK, but Constitution illegal

CLEARWATER, Fla. – City officials here apparently don't have a problem with flying the American flag, but posting the text of the U.S. Constitution is a very different story.

A federal judge is now deciding if government officials are going overboard in fining a Florida bait and tackle shop owner $500 a day for displaying the First Amendment atop a mural of marine life on his building.

U.S. Magistrate Elizabeth Jenkins today heard initial arguments in a federal lawsuit as the American Civil Liberties Union is seeking an injunction to stop the city of Clearwater from fining businessman Herb Quintero.

Under questioning by Quintero's team, the city's lone witness, Planning Director Michael Delk, was forced to admit that if the business had posted a U.S. flag instead of a First Amendment banner, it's likely the Quintero family would not have been cited for violating the sign code."

Ironically, in 1993, Clearwater lost a case that began when it fined a car dealership for flying too many American flags. A federal appeals court ruled against the city, invalidating the city's sign ordinance as "facially unconstitutional."

WND first brought the plight of Herb Quintero to national attention last week, and the story struck an immediate chord with Americans fed up with what they perceive to be government overstepping its authority. Comments of outrage from across the nation and world have since been flooding in.

"They're very abusive, profane, insulting e-mails," City Manager Bill Horne told the St. Petersburg Times. "People are passionate about the First Amendment, and rightfully so. I happen to believe we did the right thing."

One letter from a U.S. captain serving in Iraq was read into the court record today, as he berated city officials: "You have no right to override the Constitution and the principals for which so many men and women have fought and died to uphold."

The tale began in December 2007 when Herb and Lori Quintero invested their life savings to purchase and renovate a dilapidated building they turned into the Complete Angler, a shop selling fishing accessories such as rods, reels and live and frozen bait.

To help spruce up the building's image, they hired an artist who began a giant mural of marine life featuring a half-dozen game fish such as snook, dolphin, grouper and sailfish. The artwork was halted, though, because the city claims it violates the strict sign code prohibiting murals on businesses that depict a product the company sells. However, the Complete Angler does not sell game fish.
According to the lawsuit, city spokeswoman Joelle Castelli was quoted as saying the artwork "depicts what he's selling and that's considered signage. If it was a mural of kids playing in a park, that would be acceptable."

Clearwater began to fine Quintero, and he initially pleaded no contest, agreeing to pay $690.

But the businessman refused the city's demand to paint over the fish, and in protest, he posted a giant banner with text of the First Amendment in front of the mural.

The large banner is what prompted the city to hook Quintero with fines of $500 a day.

Among the ACLU attorneys on Quintero's side is James Green, perhaps best known for helping Donald Trump fight $1,250-a-day fines for flying a large American flag at his Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Fla.

Early in today's proceedings, the judge did not appear to be impressed with attorneys from the city or the ACLU.

"I will say I'm somewhat disappointed in both sides by your arguments," Jenkins said. "I expected more."

After asking for a "higher level of advocacy," the magistrate said, "I just really don't feel that this case has been articulated very well."

Judge Jenkins said she'd take the matter under consideration before making her recommendation, though she didn't specify when that might be.

"We are hoping for a swift ruling that grants
the Complete Angler's request for preliminary injunctive relief and confirms their First Amendment rights," ACLU spokesman Brandon Hensler told WND.

On the St. Petersburg Times website, news photographer Jim Damaske has posted a gallery of similar murals found throughout Clearwater.

Business owners and citizens in the Clearwater area have created a website called KeeptheFish.com to help Quintero. The site says in the wake of WND's exposure, it has been inundated with "tons of comments from all over the country" that were sent to Jeff Kronschnabl, the director of code enforcement, and other Clearwater officials.

Some reader comments posted online today about the dispute include:

* Please throw these morons out of office! They are trying to raise money for their bloated salaries, budgets and benefits. We need to get rid of the Nazis in our government. Idiots!

* Ridiulous case. The Pinellas County Maintenance Dept. on 509 East Ave., two blocks from the downtown Clearwater courthouse has fish murals on multiple buildings. Government buildings are OK, but business owners must pay!

* I think Clearwater clearly made a mistake by issuing the fines in the first place. Now they are too red in the face to admit it. I do enjoy the fact that the sitting judge essentially told both sides' counsel that they suck at their jobs. Good times.
