Obama to allow oil drilling off Virginia coast | Proves Bans Are Political To Liberals

This came out this afternoon from the group American Solutions:

The President's plan actually pushes back offshore drilling until at least 2012 and blocks drilling in the Pacific Ocean and parts of the Atlantic. He also leaves off limits those portions of the Gulf of Mexico where experts believe there is the most oil and gas.

President Obama is asking us to trust him to proceed with drilling in the future, even though his administration has imposed one delay after another on responsible American energy development.

At 6:30pm ET tonight, Speaker Gingrich will be responding to the President's drilling announcement at a townhall event in St. Petersburg, FL. You can watch it live right here.

I don't know if the link will work later, it's supposed to....5:30 pm cdt

This is nothing more than a little bitty chicken bone to the right to let us know "Obama feels our pain". What a joke, as they scramble for credibility now that the "Climate Sham" has been exposed completely, and deflated their entire "lunatic fringe agenda" with it's unraveling. Thank the Lord.

Furthermore,  as I stated in the headline, the lifting of this ban is just "too little too late" to win any accolades from me,  as it's nothing more than a political stunt and we all know it so why do it? The country has been held hostage for far too long now from the "off the charts" left wing EnvironMentalist's as this has always been about liberal power and nothing more.

Talk about the "Party of No", they've been causing us artificially inflated gas prices for decades, not to mention their keeping us beholden to the "Mad Muslims" around the world more than necessary. And that offense alone is cause be cause for their removals from office, in addition to that, then being charged with treason over this obvious national security problem that they themselves have created.

Not to mention obscene profits for oil companies that they keep saying they wanna tax but never do and that's good at least. Yea, they're making money hand over fist, but there's nothing illegal about that. Gas would be half it's price today if local and federal government weren't siphoning off trillions in wasted taxes, freaking crooks.

So now they try to use it to gain favor from those of us out here who've been crying "Drill Here Drill Now" for freaking years now, and doing so only to help bump the economy, and then falsely attribute the growth to their "way unconstitutional" super bills they've been passing left and left. (I don't say left and right because 'they' own all this freaking destruction, not us. And as predicted by the right but regretted, the country is falling apart under their lame version of 'leadership')

What a con game these people run on us all each day. It's no wonder they all love Hollywood so much, that's who taught them this act they put on each minute 365.. Except it's more like "the theater of the absurd" more than anything. It's amazing how freaking dumb they think American's are, and they don't respect their loons any more than they do us, but they don't get that. We do.

My Way News - Obama to allow oil drilling off Virginia coast: "WASHINGTON (AP) - In a reversal of a long-standing ban on most offshore drilling, President Barack Obama is allowing oil drilling 50 miles off Virginia's shorelines. At the same time, he is rejecting some new drilling sites that had been planned in Alaska.

the 44th President of the United States...Bara...Obama's plan offers few concessions to environmentalists, who have been strident in their opposition to more oil platforms off the nation's shores. Hinted at for months, the plan modifies a ban that for more than 20 years has limited drilling along coastal areas other than the Gulf of Mexico.

Obama was set to announce the new drilling policy Wednesday at Andrews air base in Maryland. White House officials pitched the changes as ways to reduce U.S. reliance on foreign oil and create jobs - both politically popular ideas - but the president's decisions also could help secure support for a climate change bill languishing in Congress.

The president, joined by Interior Secretary Ken Salazar, also was set to announce that proposed leases in Alaska's Bristol Bay would be canceled. The Interior Department also planned to reverse last year's decision to open up parts of the Chukchi and Beaufort seas. Instead, scientists would study the sites to see if they're suitable to future leases.

Obama is allowing an expansion in Alaska's Cook Inlet to go forward. The plan also would leave in place the moratorium on drilling off the West Coast.

This is Minority Leader John Boehner who the liberals by the way affectionately call John "Boner". Isn't that so adult of them?

Especially since they're the one's whining and crying "bloody murder" because one protester "sprayed it" when he "says it" and nothing more which an opportunistic black congressman ran with like OJ from the murder scene. Meanwhile our congressmen are being "shot at". Ya think they'd be a little partial to that seeing so many of "their leaders" have been gunned down in the past.

Hardly a fleakin' peep from the creeps. (say that 5 times fast lol)

House Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH) today criticized the Obama Administration for refusing to listen to the American people and keeping the vast majority of America’s offshore energy resources off limits at a time when Americans want an “all of the above” strategy for promoting American energy production and creating American jobs:

“The Obama Administration continues to defy the will of the American people who strongly supported the bipartisan decision of Congress in 2008 to lift the moratorium on offshore drilling not just off the East Coast and in the Gulf of Mexico, but off the Pacific Coast and Alaskan shores as well. Opening up areas off the Virginia coast to offshore production is a positive step, but keeping the Pacific Coast and Alaska, as well as the most promising resources off the Gulf of Mexico, under lock and key makes no sense at a time when gasoline prices are rising and Americans are asking ‘Where are the jobs?’

“It’s long past time for this Administration to stop delaying American energy production off all our shores and start listening to the American people who want an “all of the above” strategy to produce more American energy and create more jobs. Republicans are listening to the American people and have proposed a better solution – the American Energy Act – which will lower gas prices, increase American energy production, promote new clean and renewable sources of energy, and encourage greater efficiency and conservation.

“At the same time the White House makes today’s announcement, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is plotting a new massive job-killer that the American people can’t afford: a cascade of new EPA regulations that will punish every American who dares to flip on a light switch, drive a car, or buy an American product. Americans simply don’t want this backdoor national energy tax that will drive up energy and manufacturing costs and destroy jobs in our states and local communities.”
