Bears vs. Steelers: Matchups and picking a winner

For the Chicago Bears game this afternoon I'm going against the Super Bowl champs and with the slight underdog Bears in a nice upset that won't make any money with this line

but will rattle the cages of the NFL and let them all know the Bears are not only better than they showed last week as the QB sensation Jay Cutler kept completing passes all day....(to the other team).... but are even possible Super Bowl candidates at this early point...(yea right, and I'm Obama's starving Kenyan half brother..lol)

Just trying to keep up spirits after the team lost it's best player for the season with Brian Urlacher's fractured wrist last week, and to make matters worse you also saw their next best "showcase franchise player" as we noted, had a propensity to score a few too many points for the other team ......and if he can't stop that this week against the Steelers, then the Bears get their clocks cleaned this afternoon at home none theless in Chicago, and their chances for the playoffs will already look dim...boo.

I say Bears Surprise the Steelers by ten points 34 to 24..

On the other hand, here' some Chicago sports scribes and their picks for today's late afternoon start at 3 pm cst/

"Picking a winner"

Chicagotribune.com: David Haugh, Steelers 24, Bears 20: Can Jay Cutler look like Cutler and show poise instead of panic against the NFL's top defense? Can the Bears' secondary prevent the big play this week? Questions outnumber answers, and 0-2 looms.

Vaughn McClure, Steelers 21, Bears 14: Jay Cutler will rebound from a horrific season debut with two TD passes and no picks, but the Bears will find it tough to get yards against a stingy Steelers defense even without Troy Polamalu.

Fred Mitchell, Bears 23, Steelers 20: The Bears will need at least one special teams touchdown or a defensive score to hang with the defending Super Bowl champs. Matt Forte needs to have a productive day."
