My Way News - United computer problems cleared up at O'Hare: "CHICAGO (AP) - A computer problem temporarily disrupted United Airlines flights at O'Hare International Airport on Thursday, causing long delays and lines for travelers headed out for the Fourth of July holiday weekend."

I hope you folks aren't among the people trapped at O'Hare airport this morning as some sort of computer meltdown is keeping all passengers from checking in for their flights
NOT GOOD as of coarse this will have an effect on every airport across the world much less the United States. We are such risk of complete societal meltdowns as these computers we love so much rule so much of our lives ....
Computer glitch stops United check-in at O'Hare
Chicago Breaking News: "A computer outage at United Airlines is keeping passengers from checking in at O'Hare International Airport this morning. A long line about 2,000 passengers was in United's terminal and stretched outside.
'While we immediately work to fix it, flights are delayed and some may be canceled,' the airline said in a statement. 'We apologize to our customers for this inconvenience and recommend they allow for extra time at the airport and use united.com to check flight status and check-in.'
United had no estimate of when the problem would be repaired.
No United planes were leaving the airport, WGN-Ch. 9 was reporting. But an announcement in the terminal was telling passengers with boarding passes to proceed through security.
