Detroit man who says stress led him to rob banks sentenced

A Detroit man who began robbing banks to fix his mother’s plumbing has been sentenced to just two years in prison, a significant break."
U.S. District Judge Bernard Friedman says Jimmie Lee Fortune was an “outstanding citizen” before he turned to robbery last year.The 29-year-old Fortune pleaded guilty in March to stealing nearly $14,000 from five banks in suburban Detroit. Prosecutors agreed not to charge him with three more.
Fortune’s sentencing range was approximately five years to six years in prison. But the guidelines are not mandatory, and the judge settled on two years today.
Fortune says he robbed the first bank to fix his mother’s plumbing and get his driver’s license reinstated. He says he continued robbing banks because he was “stressed.”
Why didn't anyone ask this bum why he lose his license, a little drunk driving or substance abuse perhaps? I know, I've been there done that many moons ago as most close readers know.

I'm too busy working and getting my crippled ass out of a wheelchair after 7 years of MS and 2 years to walking again to alleviate my stress robbin' banks when the bills come due, as you probably all are too I'm certain if you're here.
And I'm betting you too, like me, are sick and tired of these whiners who can't bring themselves to look in their damn mirrors and blame the person looking back at them for most of their problems, as that's were it all usually starts.
This is where the Obama liberal socialist "Nanny & Welfare state" crap all leads,... to no personal responsibility for one's actions among many other society breaking behaviors, and a major reason why we all must do everything we can to not fall in that trap they're laying for everyone out there, as there's no better person to solve our own problems than we ourselves.
Obama and friends sure the hell can't and won't do it, you can bet all you own on that one, trust me.
