Space Shuttle Prepares to Lift Off On It's Most Dangerous Mission Ever!

This mission to try and repair the tremendous asset of mankind known as the Hubble Telescope, which like everything NASA builds, turned out to be so cool and useful, not to mention well built, it's exceeded it's intended shelf life and now needs absolute repairs or it will soon become nonfunctional

The extra danger for this mission come with the fact that this will take them into a much higher orbit than usual that will render the space station useless should they encounter damage to their heat shields being in the orbit in which the counties of the world have all their collective space junk floating in that atmosphere including Hubbell.

We all know of coarse what can happen to the shuttle should the sensitive heat tiles become damaged in any way from the Columbia disaster in October of 2003 and the voyage is taking them too far to come to the space station for refuge. Read all about that possible scenario in the story excerpted below if you wish

Therefore this launch is only being allowed under the contingency that a savior shuttle per se is ready for lauch should this become a reality, so we can all keep our fingers crossed and pray these incredible American heroic astronauts complete their mission and return safely to earth in one piece God Willing..

Space Shuttle Prepares to Lift Off Monday Afternoon -

FOXNews.com: CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — Space shuttle Atlantis' seven-member crew spent Monday morning preparing for the 2 p.m. EDT launch of one of the riskiest shuttle flights yet — so risky, in fact, that another space shuttle is ready to go in case of emergency.
Atlantis will be going on one last maintenance mission to the Hubble Space Telescope, the 19-year-old orbiting observatory that floats at an altitude littered with space debris.
One good-sized chunk, traveling at thousands of miles per hour, could rip through the shuttle's hull, leading to fatal decompression.
