Dems & Obama Back To The Bait And Switch, This time on his multi trillion $ budget

What we're seeing here once again is the newly patented "Obama Razzle Dazzle Bait and Switcheroo" where just like the stimulus (or porkulus if you prefer) bill, they initially come out of the gate per se with this "freaky deaky" number that's so incredulously high that they know the media and the people who are against Obama's every move, like me, will scream bloody murder for a week or so about it which is what they want and expect.

Then comes the second step of the con where they will come out to the media with the dems on different sides of the issue (like you'll see below with Senator Nelson playing Good cop against Obama's bad cop with too high spending) who will then say these populist things like "this budget will have to be slimmed down , it's just too much", or 'Mr Obama is dreaming if he thinks the people will stand for this" hyperbole. Or basically what you would expect the opposition party to come with but by the dems taking both sides the freeze out the opposition and render them harmless.

So then Nelson in this case will do the so called dirty work by talking Obama's high numbers down, deriding the wacky amounts of projected deficits and so forth, playing the defender of the people against the big bad government, giving the Democrats the appearance of being a thoughtful and diverse body of diplomats. Leaders who don't march lockstep with one another unlike their radical counterparts on the right who take their marching orders from Rush Limbaugh's radio show as they've been claiming for weeks.

This is all a contrived and executed act put on for the mindless and in most cases sadly misinformed and undereducated "sheeple" along with the mostly complicit media to chew on for a few days to make it look and seem like to same said sheeple that "they're listening to the will of the people out there".

Then comes the "razzle dazzle bait and switch", when Obama comes out with a prime time news conference (just like he happens to be having tonight ) where he pleads his case per se out "to we, the people" and claims all these dire needs that we have at this historic time of crisis and how they have to make all these "tough decisions" and so on and so on.

Come on, you know this song and dance by now, dont cha'? The same old "blah blah blah" with a few "bling bling blings" and now as the HNIC (that's an old time acronym for 'head ni**er in charge' at least thinks he is, although we know damn well he's not) "instruct the members of congress to bring back something he can sign in good faith for the good of the country for people" and all that jazz.

Then they will all miraculously come back in a couple of days, like the Knights on White Horses with their newly minted and re designed budget from top down complete with drastic cuts that "we the people demanded". Yea right Barney, Harry and Nancy..,...... and if you believe that you'll believe that Obama actually paid off his college education as he claimed in his book which he did not.

Voila, the slimmed down budget comes in at we'll say 2 trillion instead of the "Crazy Eddie" like 5 trillion they originally asked for, so all the busy, overworked, undereducated, uneducated, uninterested and uncaring amongst us all go wheew! That was a close one, that's more like it, I mean like, uh, "That's so much better than what they we're gonna hit us for, whew, I feel so much better now!" Useful idiots prove their usefulness.

So there you go, the anatomy of the "Obama Bamboozle", or the "Rip Roaring razzle dazzle" but no matter what you call it or what lipstick we put on that pig it's always been known as the "Bait and Switch" as I've been pointing out from the very beginning of Obama's reign of financial terror.

Well the razzle dazzle bait and switch rule isn't exactly listed in Alinksy's manifesto but it is a handy little trick that most of us learn about in elementary school when Lucy used to pull the football away from Charlie Brown time after time as the cartoon above showed, just like Obama keeps doing to the American people since his miraculous election where he ran as one thing and obviously keeps on governing as another.

And so the article posted below is the initial salvo of this "bait and switch" Obama is pulling to keep his radical agenda afloat after the AIG rage got a little heavier than they anticipated when they created it all.

Sen. Bill Nelson on Obama Budget: Need to ‘Rework This Whole Thing’

- Washington Wire - WSJ: "Sen. Bill Nelson, a member of the Senate Budget Committee, said the Obama budget will have to be revised in light of the latest Congressional Budget Office projections.

The Florida Democrat said in an interview on Fox News Channel this morning that “we’re going to have to go back and rework this whole thing, and that’s going to be done this week in the Budget Committee.” He later added that “Kent Conrad, our chairman of the Budget Committee, is definitely going to have to be Merlin.” CBO numbers released Friday show federal deficits over the next decade will exceed President Barack Obama’s projections by $2.3 trillion.

Conrad, a North Dakota Democrat, had warned on Friday that cuts would be forthcoming. “The reality is, we are going to have to make adjustments to the president’s budget if we want to keep the deficit on a downward trajectory,” he said.

So where does Nelson say the money is coming from? “You have to finagle with the numbers,” he said. “You want to keep on the three main themes of the president, which is the environment, health and education.”

Pressed for specifics, Nelson said: “Well, you’re going to have to redo health care so that some of its upfront costs are less, so that you bring down the cost over the 10-year period. Likewise, you’re going to have to speed up the revenues coming in from such things as possibly a cigarette tax, possibly — as the cap-and-trade — going into climate control.”

Getting cap-and-trade legislation – opponents call it “cap and tax” — and a higher cigarette tax through Congress, however, might require more than one Merlin.
