But now the idea has spawned many other parties per se, in cities from sea to shining sea including the site of the very first tea party of coarse in Boston Harbor that took place in Boston on December 16, 1773 which of coarse was a major catalyst for the Revolutionary war and who knows? These 40 little gatherings may in fact be the catalyst that wakes up a slumbering liberal America to the traitor they elected for president that we all need to come together and reign in if not outright remove from office.
Join nearly 40 nationwide tea parties across U.S.:
WorldNetDaily...."Americans are saying enough is enough to extravagant government spending and throwing nearly 40 tea parties across the nation to protest.
Kellen Giuda, a laid-off architect, is organizing his own New York City tea party. He has invited several prominent guest speakers, including politicians, elected officials, an author, blogger, a bond trader and a former contestant on 'America's Next Top Model' to speak out against excessive government spending.
'I saw Rick Santelli's rant, live, and thought it was awesome,' he told WND. 'All of this fiscal irresponsibility is absurd.'
He continued, 'Then I started hearing about tea parties, and I decided to do it. It's really exciting. There are a lot of people getting involved now.'
As WND reported, CNBC analyst Rick Santelli became a YouTube sensation after he spoke out against President Obama's proposed $275 billion deficit-financed homeowner bailout plan and other massive spending measures with a call for a new 'tea party' from the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange

Floridians Unite is looking down the road and planning an Orlando Tea Party for March 21.
"This will be a peaceful rally to unite our voices and express the love that we have for our great nation and the principles it was founded on," states the Floridians Unite website. "We want to make our politicians hear loud and clear that we are tired of the bailouts, the wasteful Washington spending and the push towards the socialization of this country! We want less government!
We want to decide where our hard-earned money goes instead of the elitist politicians in Washington taking it and using it to buy votes, doling it out to special interest groups and pork barrel projects! We want our constitutional rights preserved and protected, not trampled on!"At the Pennsylvania Tea Party on April 11, organizers are inviting people to help them reenact the Boston Tea Party of Dec. 16, 1773, by bringing one tea bag each to Point State Park in Pittsburgh with plans of actually tossing the tea into the Alleghany, Monongahela and Ohio rivers.
"Somebody in our government needs to finally pay attention," said Fox News Channel host Glenn Beck on his radio program last week. "It is what I've been talking about that was coming for a very long time, and that is disenfranchisement, which will turn into anger and then turn into God knows what."
CNBC analyst Rick Santelli is hoping those demonstrations will result in real change.
During the televised segment where Santelli revived the term "tea party," CNBC panelist Wilbur Ross, chairman and CEO of WL Ross & Co., interjected, "Rick, I congratulate you on your new incarnation as a revolutionary leader."
"Somebody needs one," Santelli responded. "I'll tell you what, if you read our Founding Fathers, people like Benjamin Franklin and Jefferson, what we're doing in this country now is making them roll over in their graves."
The politicians will have to start listening to us for real change to happen, and I don't think throwing tea into Lake Michigan or Lake Springfield is going to wake them up. However, the natural progression of the American revolution shows that one of our next steps is... They better get to thinking about the consequences of their actions.
ReplyDeletethats it, the real revolution started that very way from one little demonstration so this will send a message if people actually show up for these things.
ReplyDeleteThey could be an incredible embarrassment too if 40 city demonstrations have 50 people at each one....that's where the left has one up on the right, they're great at demonstrations because half their constituents are unemployed losers with nothing better to do with their time////
They need to have more of these later so people can plan ahead to attend.
ReplyDeleteI see most of them are scheduled for tomorrow, a Friday. Too bad, probably Sunday, after church, would have been a much better time. Of course, w could hire some ACORN foot soldiers, they do anything for a cigarette, and a 40 oz beer.
ReplyDeleteThey are on short notice although I guess they're trying to strik while the iron is hot.. I knw what you mean as I can't go to this thing either on Friday....
ReplyDeleteAA that's a good cause it's so true, and now they got 40 million or billion or WTFII (whatever the F** it is)to do whatever they want with, talk about a dang disgrace. Those f'ers should all be locked up in prison at ACORN, Obama included...
