Who Needs Church When One's Already Been Anointed The Messiah?

It's pecs not pews for Obama now
Apparently Obama doesn't anymore now that he's achieved the politician's ultimate dream of becoming president, conveniently using the excuse of not wanting to disrupt the church and parishioners having blown off church since being "elected".

That disruption and secret service attache didn't seem to bother him before the election while he was gathering up those needed votes, now did it, especially in South Carolina during the primaries pulling race cards on Slick. Certainly not during those twenty years at the divisive Trinity using Revered Wright and his parish for all they were worth while supposedly not hearing anything hateful or divisive the whole time he was there.

Sure never stopped Bill Clinton from showing up on newscasts with those infamous " Bible in tow" pics when some good old time favorable press coverage was needed after turning the oval office into the oral recreation & rumpus room. Look for Obama to return to church when he too needs some political cover as his presidency begins to fall apart if it even gets going since he hasn't even been inaugurated yet. Of coarse that hasn't stopped the MSM orgy proclaiming him the best president yet.

Obama skips church, heads to gym -

Jonathan Martin and Carol E. Lee - Politico.com: "President-elect Barack Obama has yet to attend church services since winning the White House earlier this month, a departure from the example of his two immediate predecessors.

On the three Sundays since his election, Obama has instead used his free time to get in workouts at a Chicago gym.

Asked about the president-elect's decision to not attend church, a transition aide noted that the Obamas valued their faith experience in Chicago but were concerned about the impact their large retinue may have on other parishioners.

'Because they have a great deal of respect for places of worship, they do not want to draw unwelcome or inappropriate attention to a church not used to the attention their attendance would draw,' said the aide.

Both President-elect George W. Bush and President-elect Bill Clinton managed to attend church in the weeks after they were elected." continued
