Security Woman Took Aim and Ended Massacre

And with that took out the man who had traveled to do nothing but take lives and as many as he could. This episode in America to me signifies two very important issues that end with this, that overused but so true saying that goes like this.... Guns don't kill, people with guns do.

And depending on who's holding and firing the gun determines whether the power is used for good against evil or all too often the other way around.

So when they ( specifically the many do gooder liberal types out there) designate certain areas of the country and locales "gun free zones" all they do is make certain of one thing and one thing only. That is the criminals will be armed and the victims will not, as the good people of the world will always follow the law and the bad people will not.

|So disarming the good people and leaving firearms in only the hands of the criminals leads to nothing but catastrophe and a free kill zone for the nutcases out there intent on doing harm as was the case in Columbine, at Virginia Tech, in Colorado the other night, all "gun free zones" by the way.
This good & brave woman saved a lot of lives the other night. And thank God as she does that she was there and armed as well to take on and then end the killing spree this obvious loose screw embarked on in two different Colorado cities that night to kill as many people as he possibly could before being taken out as he was.

She reminds me a bit in both the looks and her act of bravery of Ashley Smith, the woman to the left who disarmed and then got to surrender that killer Brian Nichols who was holding her hostage at the time. He was the man who briefly escaped from the 2005 Atlanta courtroom after murdering four people along the way by reading him portions of the Rick Warren book the Purpose Driven Life.

Thank God for both these women and the millions of others who quietly go about their lives until called upon to do the extraordinary and then answer the call flawlessly day after day.

Security Guard: 'God Guided Me And Protected Me'

Denver News Story - KMGH Denver: "COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Jeanne Assam appeared before the news media for the first time Monday and said she 'did not think for a minute to run away' when a gunman entered the New Life Church in Colorado Springs and started shooting. There was applause as Assam spoke to reporters and TV cameras saying, 'God guided me and protected me.'"

New Life's Senior Pastor Brady Boyd called Assam "a real hero" because Murray "had enough ammunition on him to cause a lot of damage."When asked by a reporter if she felt like a hero, Assam said, "I was given the assignment to end this before it got too much worse.""I give credit to God," she said.Assam described how the gunman, Matthew Murray, entered the east entrance of the church firing his rifle. continued
