Presidential Candidates Ignore Senatorial Duties While Running

This of coarse is nothing new and runs on both sides of the aisle, but the frontrunning candidates on the democratic side are all Senators, and while they jet around the country raising money attending fund raisers and all the other duties that go along with a campaign they totally ignore their jobs that they were put there to do in the first place.

Obama has been running for something else the entire time he's been in Washington as a senator, and was running for that job while an Illinois senator for a few years. Most will agree that while an accomplished man, his legislative accomplishments are quite thin, he's the 98th ranked senator of seniority out of 100.

Not a lot of time to accomplish much in Washington and ridiculously is why he's a viable candidate; no record to pick apart like every other senator that's failed in their attempts at being president. It's never happened.

Only in backwards running Washington could less experience be considered an asset for obtaining the most important job in the world. Neither candidate has executive or managerial experience at all, none.

Like this from Hillary yesterday who herself is thin on accomplishments in Washington besides being the most famous cheated on wife in the world and now a senator for a few years with a record of using that office only for one reason only and demonstrating this kind of behavior while there:
Clinton skips Senate hearing she called for:

TheHill.com - "Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) skipped an Environment and Public Works Committee hearing Wednesday that she called for earlier this year. Clinton’s absence drew a strong rebuke from Sen. James Inhofe (Okla.), ranking Republican on the Environment and Public Works Committee.

Clinton, a member of the committee, praised Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) a few weeks ago for scheduling the hearing on the proposed Yucca Mountain nuclear waste repository in Nevada, a project that many Nevada voters oppose fiercely."
