Local Newspaper Covers Up Illegal Van Crash

Not exactly covers it up but as is becoming standard practice in the mainstream media they purposely either omit or conveniently bury information in car accidents and crimes that involve illegal immigrants routinely across the country in our newspapers and websites. I have been featuring more and more of these on the blog here as of late as they become increasingly available and prevalent.

WorldNetDaily has a growing list of these incidents on it's website and features one of these type stories almost daily, no pun intended.

Here in Chicago yesterday a van filled with 14 what they term "temporary workers" overturned after a mechanical failure on one of our major expressways, all Mexican victims and passengers in a malfunctioning poorly maintained uninsured road roach van.

Very useful information omitted from this story includes the name of the business in which these temps worked for, instead conveniently replaced with the innocuous term " labor agency".

Then 10 paragraphs deep into the story they sneak in this interesting and anticipated little tidbit:

Police said Karina Salgado, 27, was driving the van and was ticketed for driving without a license. Salgado and three passengers in the van were not legal immigrants and were detained by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency Monday night, officials said.

Oh what a surprise...... not. The second I saw the headline I spotted this story for blogging knowing it contained illegal immigrants, I knew it. These preventable deaths are increasing on our roadways daily as the government continues dragging it's feet in removing these illegals from our neighborhoods until something tragic like this forces them to quietly do so in bodybags because unavoidable unwanted publicity forces them to act.

Van crash snarls Stevenson, kills 2

chicagotribune.com: "A van with 14 temporary workers returning home from a day job at a Lemont golf course flipped on its side, killing two people and snarling the Stevenson Expressway for most of Monday afternoon. Illinois State Police said the crash occurred about 12:15 p.m. near County Line Road in Burr Ridge and may have been caused by wheel or suspension failure on the 1999 van.

'We think it was some kind of mechanical malfunction that caused [the driver] to lose control and crash,' said Trooper Delila Huerta."

"We think it was some kind of mechanical malfunction that caused [the driver] to lose control and crash," said Trooper Delila Huerta. The van was not peeding, police said.

Elizabeth Soriano, 17, who was riding in the van with her mother, sister and a cousin, died in the accident. Also killed was Fernando Hernandez, 27, officials said. Police said passengers in the van told them the man had a wife and a child in Mexico. continued
