Bears D Back Imitates Lindsay and Paris for a Moment

This happened Sunday night when D back for the bears Lance Briggs trashes his 400 thou Lambo off the side of a major Chicagoland Highway into a cement overpass beam looking to me after like passing out behind the wheel while drunk or just misjudging the simple curve that I pass through every week myself, and then abandons the car running like a halfback to the nearest phone or anywhere but there while hiding from police to avoid a sure DUI charge.

That's not what he or the Bears are saying but that's what happened and you can bet the farm on that one for sure. This was the talk of local radio and TV all morning yesterday here in Chicago, I mean after all it's not every day someone abandons a wrecked half million dollar car on the side of the road at 3 in the morning.

Just Look at the picture, read the story and then judge for yourself what occurred. This guy is just yet another celebrity and athlete who luckily gets away with a near tragedy thankfully not killing someone in the process while out out gallivanting around town getting hammered on a Sunday night.

Defensive driving: Briggs in crash

LAMBORGHINI WRECK | Bears linebacker OK, but charged by police after leaving his expensive car abandoned along Edens Expy. early Monday

CHICAGO SUN-TIMES :: Metro & Tri-State: "Lance Briggs couldn't handle a $400,000 Lamborghini like he can handle opposing quarterbacks. The Chicago Bears linebacker wrecked his Italian sports car early Monday but walked away unharmed, the State Police said. Briggs, who was questioned by police Monday afternoon, was charged with leaving the scene of a property-damage accident -- a misdemeanor -- and freed after posting $100 in bail. He is supposed to appear in the Skokie courthouse Oct. 4. He also was charged with failure to give immediate notice of an accident and with improper lane usage -- petty offenses."

Briggs' car was found at 3:14 a.m., but he didn't notify police of the accident until five hours later, State Police Master Sgt. Luis M. Gutierrez said.

Briggs, 26, was driving north on the Edens Expy. when he skidded onto the grassy embankment and slammed into a concrete support beam for the Devon overpass, Gutierrez said. No air bags were deployed, he said. continued

Sure beats the DUI charges and the certain football suspension he would've received if caught like he should've been. He's either (A) been through that before and knew what to do to avoid arrest or (B) just got some quick legal advice while on the run on foot after bolting from the car I have to admit smartly. Lucky he was that he didn't harm someone else and secondly himself.
