That being the 2 guys that were hired by Time Warner advertising subcontractors to place the simulated cartoon character bomb like devices around the Boston area who have quietly finished their plea deal with the Boston authorities.
The initial uproar was directed at them although they were nothing but hired pee-ons to go place these things around the city on behalf of the "Guerrilla" ad agency (their description) called Interference Inc hired to promote a Cartoon Network show that nobody over 20 years old has ever seen. To me it says alot that they subcontract unsuspecting youngsters to plant the devices for them while burying in the fine print of their BS contract that they are gonna be on their own when the stunt goes awry as exactly happened to these "artists".
I initially railed on these two fall guys as did most until I realized they were duped by the allure of fast cash offered by Interference for what seemed to be an innocuous event that backfired on everyone involved for the most part depending on which way you evaluate the final outcome.

This stunt ultimately cost the city of Boston booku denero if you remember not to mention ridicule for their what many deemed over reaction to the stunt, (if not click here) but they were promptly and rightfully reimbursed by TimeWarner for the fiasco to the tune of , so in this case all stupidity ended harmlessly and well for a change.
Initially the 2 goons held a new conference and acted pretty much like imbeciles that obviously were under the impression that they were covered by the company that hired them but changed their tune dramatically after being charged by Boston Authorities and hung out to dry by the lowlife employer basically.
So in closing, on the good side of this fiasco, maybe next time the mostly out of control advertisers trying to one up the next guy and the next guy think twice, or maybe at least once before planting devices that look like homemade bombs to regular folks headed to work on any given morning around cities in the US just to promote cartoons.
Men Apologize for Cartoon Stunt:
My Way News - "By DENISE LAVOIE BOSTON (AP) - Two men who planted electronic devices in a botched television promotion that prompted a bomb scare apologized Friday and performed community service to resolve the criminal charges against them.
Peter Berdovsky, 27, and Sean Stevens, 28, were accused of planting about three dozen devices with lights that created images of a cartoon character making an obscene gesture, causing confusion in Boston and Cambridge on Jan. 31. Both were charged with placing a hoax device and disorderly conduct.
The devices were a promotion for Cartoon Network.
In exchange for the community service and public apology, prosecutors agreed not to pursue the criminal case against them. Berdovsky performed 80 hours and Stevens completed 60 hours at the Spaulding Rehabilitation Center in Boston." read more
