If you want my opinion, that would be a resounding NO.
How can I say this? Because Islam and the west as well as Christianity simply collide, they do not fit together in the same room nor the same state, as it goes on and on. It has been this way since the beginning of time and it ain't changing now folks. So it's either us or them, and it's quite obvious that this is they way they feel about it. So in that case we better get serious about this problem before Iran gets nuclear weapons, or this game they are playing will finally become un-winnable for the west short of nuking the whole region in a response to their nuclear threats or actual attacks..
So for those reasons, as long as we are at war with radical Islam, any and all Muslims simply cannot be trusted. We all know their beards aren't different colors depending on how radical they are in order for us to somehow separate the good ones from the bad ones. So what then is the answer to this problem you ask?
Here is mine... They will not be trusted until they earn that valued trust individually, each and every last one of them, end of story. Their loud and majority radical faction has caused this to be the case so it is then up to them to win our hearts and minds, not the other way around. Sorry.
However, that opinion of mine in this country will never be the prevailing attitude, as we all know of coarse no matter what happens we can't offend anybody in this country or single anybody out now can we, even IN ORDER TO KEEP FROM BEING KILLED?
We don't want to hurt anybodies feelings now do we? After all all Muslims cannot all be terrorists now, can they?

So what is it we then do next, just quietly wait around for the next plots to develop and hope that we catch it or the next one in time, perhaps before 4 airliners are hijacked and driven into the next set of unlucky buildings then killing how many innocent Americans, just so we don't hurt anyone's feelings?

6 Charged In Alleged N.J. Terror Plot (alleged my a$#)
News Story - WNBC | New York: "NEW YORK -- Six men from New Jersey have been charged in an alleged terror plot against soldiers at Fort Dix, according to law enforcement sources.
Investigators said the men planned to use automatic rifles to enter Fort Dix and kill as many soldiers as they could at the New Jersey military base. Fort Dix was just one of several military and security locations allegedly scouted by this group, authorities said."
The suspects, identified as Dritan Duka, Eljvir Duka, Shain Duka, Mohamad Shnewer, Derdar Tatar and Agron Abdullahu, have been charged with conspiring to kill U.S. government employees. Separately, the Duka brothers have been charged with being illegal aliens in possession of firearms.The Dukas, believed to be Islamic radicals, are in the United States illegally, while Shnewer is a U.S. citizen born in Jordan, according to the Justice Department.
The U.S. Attorney's office has told NewsChannel 4 that one of the suspects was born in Turkey and four in the former Yugoslavia. Investigators said most of the suspects have spent several years in the United States.White House spokesman Tony Snow said Tuesday there is "no direct evidence" that the men have ties to international terrorism. read more
