I think the headlines I've seen for this poor toad like the one below that are typical of the "alarmist" tone everything related to anomalies from Mother Nature nowadays takes on. Meaning I have yet to read this jumbo frog's size being blamed on global warming, but I bet it'll find it's way into the presentation somehow.
'Monster' Toad Captured Down Under
Family: "DARWIN, Australia -- An environmental group said Tuesday it had captured a 'monster' toad the size of a small dog.With a body the size of a football and weighing nearly 2 pounds, the toad is among the largest specimens ever captured in Australia, according to Frogwatch coordinator Graeme Sawyer."
