As much as the libs spout off about the republican political scandals, anyone with any intellectual honesty knows this is a bi-partisan problem that needs to be disinfected on both sides of the aisle in the halls of congress and society as a whole for that matter. Will this ever be accomplished? Doubtful, at least not as long as man is on God's green earth. But the Dems lead the way in duplicity as they swept into present power claiming republicans are the sole abusers of power on capital hill with their "Culture Of Corruption" sound bite.
What about Frigidaire Jefferson? We all remember him, no? Or Alcee Hastings, impeached judge elected to congress who's about to be named to a very powerful congressional post, House Intelligence Committee chairman. An impeached Judge for taking bribes as head of a committee with the word intelligence in it for cripes sake. Is this the best they can do? Apparently.

While New Jersey's congressional delegation did not see the upheaval witnessed across the nation, including across the Delaware River in suburban Philadelphia, our elected representatives must have a hand in setting new agendas in Washington.
Here are some of the issues the new Congress must address:
Corruption/ethics -- Perhaps as much as the war in Iraq, the scandals that have plagued Washington over the last two years probably contributed to the GOP's loss of power. Yet, as we well know in Democratic-controlled New Jersey, scandal is certainly not something that afflicts only Republicans. Democratic Congressman William Jefferson of Louisiana is a prime example of this." read more
