Hopefully this is a step in the direction of having all the charges dropped, and then having these men apologized to and then thanked for their service to the country. Do remember that these SEALs are being falsely accused and charged with slapping the Islamic scum who did this.....

FOXNews.com"The government has dropped false statement charges against two Navy SEALs accused of mistreating an Iraqi detainee, but more charges remain for the team that captured and reportedly punched an alleged terrorist leader.

Petty Officer 2nd Class Jonathan Keefe of Yorktown, Va., and Petty Officer 1st Class Julio Huertas of Blue Island, Ill., are still charged with dereliction of duty for their role in the capture of Ahmed Hashim Abed -- a terror suspect who the military says masterminded the killing, burning and lynching of contractors for the company formerly known as Blackwater.

Four security contractors were killed and the mutilated bodies of two -- including a former Navy SEAL -- were hung from a bridge over the Euphrates River.

Keefe and Huertas allegedly failed to protect Abed as he was brought into custody and left with a bloody lip. Huertas also is charged with impeding an investigation.

Their trials are set for later this month in Iraq, though another trial stemming from the case will be held stateside.

Petty Officer 2nd Class Matthew McCabe of Perrysburg, Ohio, is charged with punching Abed, dereliction of duty and lying to investigators. His trial is set for May 3 in Norfolk.

Navy spokesman Lt. Arlo Abrahamson said depositions were taken Tuesday from several defense witnesses who have been granted immunity."

He does position gymnastics just like John Kerry and this guy can't make up his mind probably cause half the time he can't remember who the hell he is in the first place, is it Barry, Barack, Hussein, Soetero, Dunham, etc... and probably has to pinch himself regularly when the partying is over for a couple minutes, especially to remind himself he actually has to make a decision or two once in a while. Like this life or death one that took, what, about 5 months with our soldiers dying and losing morale the entire time, meanwhile Obama played Tiger "Lost In The" Woods not missing a weekend of links during the same time frame?

Sometimes I think the democrats really believed while pulling the trigger on Obama the newby "If George Bush can do this job, anybody can I'm sure of it", because this guy sure can't hold Bush's jock when it comes to making these military calls, and Bush set all this crap up quite well to just be managed by the next commander in chief, only he expected an adult to get the job, and all they've done there in the Obama white house is disassemble it into this.

I mean, what the hell is a limited surge anyways? What a liberal term....automatically limiting oneself before even pulling out of the garage, and for good measure telegraphing for months indecision and then ultimately letting the enemy know we're only gonna come after them half assed after all this "dithering" as Sarah Palin so aptly coined this Obama behavior.

Obama Opts for Limited Surge in Afghanistan

FOXNews.com: "WASHINGTON -- President Barack Obama has ordered a revamped war plan for Afghanistan that appears to endorse the military strategy of his top generals but will set limits on U.S. involvement in terms of duration, manpower and money, White House officials said Monday.

After a three-month review, the president delivers a televised prime-time address at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y., Tuesday to publicly define his plan for the war. He is widely expected to announce he's committing around 30,000 new troops to fighting the Taliban. Eight U.S. allies also have committed to sending additional troops, which could total some 5,000, according to European and U.S. officials.

Aides familiar with the new policy insist that Obama hasn't ended up where he started his review, planning for an an open-ended escalation. He will lay out benchmarks for the U.S. and Afghan governments to meet on the recruitment and training of Afghan security forces, as well as on rooting out corruption that has bedeviled the country."

Assault Charges Navy SEALs Face for Capturing Most-Wanted Terrorist A Damned Disgrace....

Navy SEALs Face Assault Charges for Capturing Most-Wanted Terrorist

FOXNews.com: "Navy SEALs have secretly captured one of the most wanted terrorists in Iraq — the alleged mastermind of the murder and mutilation of four Blackwater USA security guards in Fallujah in 2004. And three of the SEALs who captured him are now facing criminal charges, sources told FoxNews.com.

The three, all members of the Navy's elite commando unit, have refused non-judicial punishment — called an admiral's mast — and have requested a trial by court-martial.

Ahmed Hashim Abed, whom the military code-named 'Objective Amber,' told investigators he was punched by his captors — and he had the bloody lip to prove it.

Now, instead of being lauded for bringing to justice a high-value target, three of the SEAL commandos, all enlisted, face assault charges and have retained lawyers.

Matthew McCabe, a Special Operations Petty Officer Second Class (SO-2), is facing three charges: dereliction of performance of duty for willfully failing to safeguard a detainee, making a false official statement, and assault.

Petty Officer Jonathan Keefe, SO-2, is facing charges of dereliction of performance of duty and making a false official statement.

Petty Officer Julio Huertas, SO-1, faces those same charges and an additional charge of impediment of an investigation."

Obama Admits Using Troops As Photo Op / Still Diddling As No Afghan decision before Thanksgiving

 That's right, he said it, in his own words which you'll be hearing all day I'm sure as everyone out there gets in the swing of things and turns on their favorite news source from the conservative field of tuthtellers.

Obama arrived on the base 3:19 p.m. local time (1 a.m. Eastern Standard Time), and received a rousing welcome from 1,500 troops in camouflage uniforms, many holding cameras or pointing cell phones to snap pictures.

"You guys make a pretty good photo op," the president said.

There ya go ....I don't care if it was said in jest because the very fact that he even said it means he was at least thinking it...which comes of course as no surprise as all presidents do this, it's just whether or not the military men and women like the person who's doing it.. |

And my educated guess is in this case most don't, since he's been so brutally indecisive and inexperienced, declared the Surge a failure and was against it, not to mention that he "pisses" on the advice of lifelong military Generals as he's been doing to General McChrystal whom until the blogs made mention of it had only met with the man once until he met him on a tarmac in Copenhagen whoring for the Olympics....

White House aides: No Afghan decision before Thanksgiving: "
SEOUL -- President Barack Obama will not announce his decision on sending more troops to Afghanistan before the Thanksgiving holiday, senior aides said on Thursday.

The news came as the president greeted 1,500 troops at Osan Air Base in South Korea, just before boarding Air Force One and heading back to Washington after an eight-day Asia trip.

Obama and his top military and diplomatic aides have been deliberating for months over how to proceed in Afghanistan, where the United States and its partners have sought for eight years to defeat the Taliban and deny al-Qaeda a safe haven from which it can plan and launch attacks.

Gen. Stanley A. McChrystal, the top U.S. and NATO commander in Afghanistan, has stated that without the deployment of up to 40,000 additional of troops within the next year, the mission "will likely result in failure." But some aides are arguing for a much smaller troop increase, and the U.S. ambassador in Kabul, Karl W. Eikenberry, has questioned whether the Afghan government can be a reliable partner.

Obama said in interviews Wednesday that he would reveal his decision within the next several weeks. On Thursday, aides clarified that there would be no announcement before Thanksgiving, one week away. Senior administration officials said Obama intends to meet with his national security team again before going public with his plans.

Obama did not mention the looming decision in his remarks to U.S. troops, referring to the Afghan conflict only by thanking South Korea for its efforts and expressing gratitude to the American soldiers who have served there.

But he did discuss the region in his meeting with South Korean President Lee Myung-Bak, whose government has is sending 150 civilian aid workers to Afghanistan.

He got a huge cheer when he told them he was increasing military pay. "That's what you call an applause line," he said, before boarding his jet and taking off at 4:11 p.

I like you I'm sure are truly deeply saddened seeing these military base situations and killings anytime anywhere, especially  when soldiers in 2 active wars come home uninjured and get killed HEREin their own country they fight for, and we know damn well heretofore the anti military people out there will exploit it to no end, using it for an excuse to forward their individual agenda's first and foremost sadly. ANd Ft Hood is sadly no stranger to these type of episodes as is discussed in the video here.

Right now we should just pray however you happen to do it for the now nameless victims and their soon to be horrified family and friends, especially once word comes of the actual people's names as the night goes on...

AP picture of wounded Marine Published AGAINST FAMILY WISHES

This is why President Bush banned all photos' of dead soldiers in the first place which was quickly overturned by the leftist commie Obama, and the left wing loon media can't be trusted anymore for sh** or in other words can't be trusted as far as you can throw them.


And this case proves it beyond a shadow of a doubt as the FAMILY OF THE DEAD SOLDIER along with Defense secretary Gates BEGGED THE AP not to use the photo.

Didn't ask but freaking begged and they still used it.

So much for the "family wishes" clause in the Obama order huh?

The picture, by AP photographer Julie Jacobson, showed Lance Cpl. Joshua 'Bernie' Bernard, 21, lying on the ground with severe leg injuries after being struck by a grenade in an ambush on Aug. 14, his fellow Marines tending to him. Bernard later died of his wounds.Gates wrote a strongly worded letter to AP President and CEO Tom Curley on Thursday, saying it was a matter of 'judgment and common decency' not to use the photo. A Pentagon spokesman said Gates followed up with a phone call 'begging' Curley not to use it.

After the photo was published Friday, the Pentagon released its communications with the AP.

John Daniszewski, AP senior managing editor, said he respected Gates' view but that sometimes the government and press have different perspectives."
