A precursor warmup to 911 was the Cole bombing in 2000 where another bunch of Muslim terrorists in a freaking rowboat practically  took out one of America's most powerful multi billion dollar destroyers, by no real fault of their own, they, the Navy that day simply trusted the wrong row boat approaching filled with local appearing radical Muslims is all.

Shiver Me Timbers.. Samolian Pirate Not So Tough Now....

This guy is probably wishing he was casualty number 4 in the Captain Phillips flotilla now that he's facing life in prison for messing with the wrong country and thinking by turning on his buddies he was gonna get the easy ride that these terrorists are all expecting now that terrorists' worst nightmare GWB has moseyed off into the Dallas sunset.

SOMALIAN PIRATE SUSPECT INDICTED -Somali pirate, the sole survivor and ringleader of the crew that hijacked the Maersk Alabama cargo ship and held its captain hostage, was indicted today on 10 counts, including piracy on the high seas and hostage taking.

Abdiwali Abdiqadir Muse has been in Manhattan Federal prison since his capture on April 12.

'While on the lifeboat, Muse, used a radio to communicate with representatives of the US government and threatened to kill the captain unless his demands were satisfied' the indictment reads.' That demand was safe passage from the scene.

Muse will appear in court on Thursday. If he's convicted of piracy he faces life in the brig."

The FBI says Muse was the first pirate to board the American cargo boat, as it was about 280 miles off the Somali coast.

He and others held Phillips hostage until Navy sharpshooters killed three other suspects.

Undeterred, Somali Pirates Hijack 3 More Ships

FOXNews.com - - Africa:"MOMBASA, Kenya — Undeterred by U.S. and French hostage rescues that killed seven bandits, Somali pirates brazenly hijacked three more ships in the Gulf of Aden, the key waterway that's become the focal point of the world's fight against piracy.

The latest trophy for the pirates was the M.V. Irene E.M., a Greek-managed bulk carrier sailing from the Middle East to South Asia, said Noel Choong, who heads the International Maritime Bureau's piracy reporting center in Kuala Lumpur.

The Irene was attacked and seized in the middle of the night Tuesday — a rare tactic for the pirates."

U.S. Navy Lt. Nathan Christensen, spokesman for the Bahrain-based 5th Fleet, said the Irene was flagged in the Caribbean island nation of St. Vincent and the Grenadines and carried 23 Filipino crew. Choong reported a crew of 21, and there was no immediate way to reconcile the figures.

A maritime security contractor, speaking on condition of anonymity because it is a sensitive security issue, said the ship put out a distress signal "to say they had a suspicious vessel approaching. That rapidly turned into an attack and then a hijacking."
"They tried to call in support on the emergency channels, but they never got any response," the contractor said

On Monday, Somali pirates also seized two Egyptian fishing boats in the Gulf of Aden off Somalia's northern coast, according to Egypt's Foreign Ministry, which said there were 18 to 24 Egyptians onboard at the time.

Choong said pirate attacks this year had risen to 77, with 18 of those ships hijacked and 16 vessels with 285 crew still remaining in pirates' hands. Each boat carries the potential of million-dollar ransom.

The latest seizures come after Navy SEAL snipers rescued American ship captain Richard Phillips on Sunday by killing three young pirates who held him captive in a drifting lifeboat for five days. A fourth pirate surrendered after seeking medical attention for a wound he received in trying to take over Phillips' vessel, the Maersk Alabama.

After This Is Over We Need To Travel High Seas And Take Out These Pirate Ships Next

Just look at this Motley crew of lowlife sea faring Muhammad's manned with rpg's and ak's, I bet they can't even swim, not a single one of them....

Four pirates adrift in a lifeboat far out in the Indian Ocean with Richard Phillips, the 53-year-old American captain of a cargo ship they tried to seize on Wednesday, have demanded $2 million for his release and a guarantee of their own safety.

With three U.S. warships in the area, the elders and relatives of the pirates holding Phillips, a father-of-two from rural Vermont, are planning a mediation mission to try to avoid bloodshed, a regional maritime group said.

'They are just looking to arrange safe passage for the pirates, no ransom,' group coordinator Andrew Mwangura said.

French special forces stormed a yacht held by pirates elsewhere in the lawless stretch of the Indian Ocean on Friday in an assault that killed one hostage, but freed four.

Two pirates were killed and three captured.
