Many of our soldiers are those that have paid the ultimate price for this country, protecting it both at home and abroad from the many threats we face from our enemies wishing us and them harm, and some are not.

In either case they are the real American heroes of today and we now honor both the fallen and the enlisted with this feature week after week and thanks for reading and supporting these fine men and women.

The Very Best of the Best America has to offer deserve all our prayers and respect for keeping this country and the world for the most part free from tyranny and protecting liberty wherever they tread God Bless em all..

Cpl. Carlos E. Gil Orozco
Cpl. Carlos E. Gil Orozco
23 years old from San Jose, California
2nd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force
September 10, 2007

Carlos Gil Orozco wasn’t a great student, but one goal pushed him to hit the books: becoming a Marine.

"He was kind of a troublemaker, you know, he got bad grades and wouldn't do his homework," said his sister, Myriam Johanna Gil Orozco. "But he wanted to be a Marine. So he studied real hard, especially algebra. He'd stay up all night studying.

Cpl. Orozco's parents moved the family from Colombia to the U.S. when he was 8 years old, hoping to give their children a better education. They became frustrated when their son didn't do well in school and thought the Marines would be good for him.

"My dad was actually happy," Myriam said. "He'd rather have him be a Marine than out on the streets being in gangs or doing drugs."

Cpl. Carlos Orozco was killed while conducting combat operations in Ashraf, Iraq when the tank he was riding in encountered an IED. Also killed in the blast was Lance Cpl. Jon T. Hicks Jr. of Atco, New Jersey.

Cpl. Orozco leaves behind his sister, his parents, his wife and two sons.

Wreaths Across America at Arlington in holiday tribute to fallen veterans

CNN.com: "Arlington, Virginia (CNN) -- For Karen and Morrill Worcester, it's a campaign that blossomed out of a personal family tradition. But for the families of the fallen, it's a holiday tribute to remember the sacrifice of those who have given their lives in the armed services.

On Saturday, volunteers flooded the grounds at Arlington National Cemetery to take part in the annual wreath-laying ceremony sponsored by Wreaths Across America, a nonprofit organization born out of the Arlington Wreaths Project.

The husband and wife have been laying wreaths at the cemetery on their own since 1992, inspired by a visit Morrill paid to the landmark when he was a boy. Wreaths Across America began laying the decoration in 2006 and now places red-ribboned fir wreaths on veterans' gravestones across the country."  continued

Navy SEALs Arraigned on Abuse Charges - A Shameful Travesty Only A Liberal Could Dream Up

The fact that this has even gone this far is an outrage, and we citizens need to pressure our lawmakers and breakers telling them that along with the ObaMoronic decision to try KSM and friends at Ground Zero this traitorous prosecution of these Navy SEALs won't fly with we already angry Americans.

Brave heroes beyond the pale who did nothing more than split the sand chapped lips of the slimey assed crumb of a subhuman who did this to our fellow American's in Fallujah in the middle of the war.

.. men with families and loved ones who as you probably know were Iraq war contractors which really made them citizens like you and I over there making money and helping Iraq to experience freedom for the first time in the Medieval Middle East.

Today's the first step in the liberal loon rape of the bravest and best America has to offer who won't be there when the rest realize this ridiculous crap could happen to them next for spitting in the direction of a freaking Mosque or a camel. Who the hell knows what's next. First Haditha and now this?  I for one wouldn't blame our military for looking for something else to do for a living since this is how the government repays them.
Navy SEALs Arraigned on Abuse Charges

CBS News: "(AP) Two Navy SEALs accused in the mistreatment of an Iraqi suspect in the 2004 slayings of four U.S. contractors were arraigned in military court Monday, and one SEAL said he was gratified by support from the public and some members of Congress.

The judge scheduled courts-martial next month for Petty Officer 2nd Class Matthew McCabe of Perrysburg, Ohio, and Petty Officer 1st Class Julio Huertas of Blue Island, Ill. A third SEAL will be arraigned later.

The SEALs have received an outpouring of public support on the Internet, and a California congressman has led a campaign urging Defense Secretary Robert Gates to intervene. About three dozen protesters, including the mother of one of the slain contractors, stood outside the Norfolk Naval Station gate Monday morning holding signs of support.

McCabe is accused of striking the detainee in the midsection, dereliction of duty for failing to safeguard the detainee, and lying to investigators. He deferred entering a plea until his Jan. 19 trial.

McCabe told reporters he was confident he would be exonerated"   continued
