I don't think he will make it through the term after this past weekend and the Mosque last straw. He's done for sure now as the dems will be backpedaling away from him on almost every issue faster than a carjacker stealing bikes in Harlem, making him impeachable next spring .

I am not saying Obama is not smart; he is as smart as a whip. I am just saying he does not understand what savvy first-term presidents need to understand:
You have to stay on message, follow the polls, listen to your advisers (who are writing the message and taking the polls) and realize that when it comes to doing what is right versus doing what is expedient, you do what is expedient so that you can get reelected and do what is right in the second term. If at all possible.
And it will help your legacy. And not endanger the election of others in your party. And not hurt the brand. Or upset people too much.

I do not see resignation in the cards, I see a fight all the thru his first and only term leaving the party severly damaged which they have already done to themselves. As for a dem president after him? Maybe not for the next 5-6 election cycles and that is a 'liberal' guestement.

ReplyDeletethen I think Obama's remainder of the time will be spent like Slick's time was, this deposition, this denial, they've done some serious subjugation of the constitution here, and he's the captain of that beast. Repeal of Obama care will be a bloodbath for the dems in 2012 if we get people who'll go that far.
