We knew this was coming and may in fact be the nail in the coffin of the Mosque that even Muslims don't want nor need in the literal shadow of Ground Zero, located 2 blocks away streetwise as the left likes to claim.
However, in 'reality' the building would be more like 500 feet as the 'crow flies' or I suppose in the case of the Muslim world the "hijacked airplane or missile flies" which is exactly why anything "Islamic" can't be withing range of anything built on the property and especially a memorial to the victims of the FIRST ATTACK.
Build this Mosque and there'll sure be a second one some day somewhere in America because the hardliners will use the Mosque as proof they are winning the war against the West when they can build on the site before the buildings knocked down are even replaced.
A literal disgrace in itself that should cost every NYC politician their job, including that screwed up Port Authority abomination they have going in that region. At one time a useful organization now nothing but a political clusterf*ck just like the UN> IF the Muslims want to attack something, please at least pick 'that' next time.

The Daily News: "A growing number of New York construction workers are vowing not to work on the mosque planned near Ground Zero.
'It's a very touchy thing because they want to do this on sacred ground,' said Dave Kaiser, 38, a blaster who is working to rebuild the World Trade Center site.
'I wouldn't work there, especially after I found out about what the imam said about U.S. policy being responsible for 9/11,' Kaiser said.
The grass-roots movement is gaining momentum on the Internet. One construction worker created the 'Hard Hat Pledge' on his blog and asked others to vow not to work on the project if it stays on Park Place.
'Thousands of people are signing up from all over the country,' said creator Andy Sullivan, a construction worker from Brooklyn. 'People who sell glass, steel, lumber, insurance. They are all refusing to do work if they build there.'
'Hopefully, this will be a tool to get them to move it,' he said. 'I got a problem with this ostentatious building looming over Ground Zero.'

But the illegal underground has given them a way to stay employed by working for half as much. Theyve ruined graphics and webwork as well now because some Indian will do for 4 dollars what I charge D 20 for...

ReplyDeleteThis is great news!! I hope the momentum continues and it gets really hard for the proponents of the mosque being built to find anyone who will be willing to build it or supply them with supplies. We don't want this abomination on Ground Zero.
