Today most of us Americans try to celebrate by flying the US flag proudly and loudly as the symbol of freedom and liberty to the rest of the world and the last hope for mankind and civilization's continued growth and prosperity.
I actually fly my flag from Memorial Day through Veterans day. Every year.
In that spirit may God Continue To Bless these gifted United States of America and protect her from evil.
In addition to today being Flag day, it is also the birthday of the U.S. Army branch of the fine military forces we are proud of and grateful to each and every day they are on the job.
So here's a Happy 235th Birthday to the US Army who does the job of protecting the nation and freedom from tyranny when the almighty needs some time off now and then.
The History Of Flag Day:
USFlag.org: - "The Fourth of July was traditionally celebrated as America's birthday, but the idea of an annual day specifically celebrating the Flag is believed to have first originated in 1885. BJ Cigrand, a schoolteacher, arranged for the pupils in the Fredonia, Wisconsin Public School, District 6, to observe June 14 (the 108th anniversary of the official adoption of The Stars and Stripes) as 'Flag Birthday'.
In numerous magazines and newspaper articles and public addresses over the following years, Cigrand continued to enthusiastically advocate the observance of June 14 as 'Flag Birthday', or 'Flag Day'.
This is the only real recognition at Whitehouse.gov of the holiday per se....

Nope....he's not an American and certainly not Christian as he lied to the world which alone should get him impeached, just for misrepresenting himself so blatantly on the very principles the country was founded on.
