This a win for them in a number of ways and I say "good for them".
They created the music, and to see the record companies making billions even screwing their biggest and best acts out of money they and only they deserve. Something which has always been a bone of contention in this industry, particularly for Black artists early on, who's musical acts and songwriting were the very inspiration behind the "creation" of "rock and roll" .
And all most of them got was pretty much the royal shaft until Ray Charles came along, for the most part.

In a victory for the concept album, Britain's High Court on Thursday March 11, 2010 ordered record company EMI Group Ltd. to stop selling downloads of Pink Floyd tracks individually rather than as part of the band's original records. The rock group sued the music label, saying its contract prohibited selling the tracks 'unbundled' from their original album setting.
