"Mother Earth is on a tear. A large earthquake hit Taiwan Thursday morning, registering 6.4 on the Richter scale. There were no immediate reports of deaths, but the quake injured at least 64 people, spawned blackouts, disrupted rail service and caused widespread panic.Coming in the wake of the devastating 7.0 quake in Haiti and this week's 8.8 quake in Chile, could something sinister be going on?Experts say no. 'It's coincidental. These quakes are not connected,' said geophysicist Don Blakeman at the U.S. Geological Survey's National Earthquake Information Center.'We constantly have quakes going off. It takes one big damaging earthquake to get people's attention and then they start noticing all the quakes.'Tell that to the Japanese." continued
Today it was a pretty decent sized one in Japan, and they were talking the other day with this Science guy with the long hair I'm sure everyone saw once during the Chilean earthquake aftermath, and he called it, he said Japan would be next so he had California on his list and I'd be sweating if I were the people out there because these quakes are related.
We better hope and pray that day isn't coming sooner than we all expected, hell we had a small one here a couple weeks ago, so who knows what Mother Nature has cooked up but we do know global warming should be the last of our concerns.
